System and method to identify and recommend media consumption options based on viewer suggestions
Systems and methods for determining, based on recommendations provided by users that have consumed a media asset, which consumption options may be configured on a media device such that when configured enhance the user viewing experience for a specific media asset. The method includes accessing comments posted by other users that have consumed the media asset. The comments are analyzed to determine a consumption option recommendation. If the number of comments meet a threshold value, then the system either automatically configures the media device or configures the media device upon user approval with the recommended consumption option. The recommendation to configure a consumption option on the media device is made only if the recommendation is supported by the media device. The system also detects through audio and image analysis which users are consuming the media asset and accordingly configures the consumption options to their preferences.
VIDEO DUBBING METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides a video dubbing method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method includes: when receiving an audio recording start trigger operation for a first time point of a target video and starting from a video picture corresponding to the first time point, playing the target video based on a timeline and receiving audio data based on the timeline; and when receiving an audio recording end trigger operation for a second time point, generating an audio recording file. The audio recording file has a linkage relationship with a timeline of a video clip taking the video picture corresponding to the first time point as a starting frame and taking a video picture corresponding to the second time point as an ending frame.
Intelligent automated assistant for TV user interactions
Systems and processes are disclosed for controlling television user interactions using a virtual assistant. In an example process, a virtual assistant can interact with a television set-top box to control content shown on a television display. Speech input for the virtual assistant can be received from a device with a microphone. The speech input can comprise a query associated with content shown on the television display. A user intent of the query can be determined based on one or more of the content shown on the television display and a viewing history of media content. A result of the query can be caused to be displayed based on the determined user intent.
Methods and apparatus to assign viewers to media meter data
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to assign viewers to media meter data are disclosed. An apparatus includes memory, and a processor to execute instructions to: determine first probabilities for first panelists in a first household based on a first number of minutes of first media presented by a first media presentation device monitored by a first meter, determine second probabilities for second panelists in a plurality of second households based on a second number of minutes of second media presented by second media presentation devices monitored by a plurality of second meters, compare the first probabilities and the second probabilities to identify a candidate household from the plurality of second households to associated with the first household, and impute respective portions of the first number of minutes to corresponding ones of the first panelists when monitored behavior of the candidate household matches monitored behavior of the first household.
Systems and methods for generating a media-based result to an ambiguous query
Systems and methods are described herein for providing a search result based on an ambiguous voice query. The system comprises receiving an ambiguous voice query relating to an object from a user, retrieving a viewing history of the user for about a list of media assets viewed by the user, determining, from the list of media asset, a media asset that is likely to contain the object based at least in part on metadata of the media asset and the ambiguous voice query, searching content of the determined media asset to identify a segment within the media asset that contains the object, and generating a display of information about the object identified from the segment.
Electronic apparatus and control method thereof
An electronic apparatus includes a communication interface, and a processor configured to encrypt data in each of a plurality of sections of voice data, the voice data corresponding to a first user voice signal, and control the communication interface to transmit the encrypted data to a server. The processor is further configured to obtain an authentication key based on data in a first section of the plurality of sections, encrypted data in the first section having been transmitted to the server, and encrypt data in a second section to be transmitted by using the authentication key.
System and method for identifying potential commercial breaks in a video data stream by detecting absence of identified persons associated with program type content in the video data stream
Ad break boundaries, which identify start and end points of a commercial break, are identified by detecting the absence of voices and/or facial images of one or more primary cast members of a currently scheduled program.
System for the Reproduction of a Multimedia Content Using an Alternative Network if Poor Quality in First Network
A method, an apparatus and a system for the reproduction of a specific multimedia content are provided. The method includes the step of acquiring one or more samples of a specific multimedia content reproduced by a mobile multimedia radio/television apparatus, where the specific multimedia content is included in a first signal emitted by a broadcast-type radio/television network, including the further step of determining an identifier of the specific multimedia content and the value of a quality parameter of the first signal. According to the value of the quality parameter of the first signal, further steps include receiving on a multimedia telephone apparatus the specific multimedia content through a second signal emitted by a cellular telephone network, sending the specific multimedia content to one or more multimedia reproduction units included in the mobile multimedia radio/television apparatus.
DISTRIBUTED NETWORK RECORDING SYSTEM WITH TRUE AUDIO TO VIDEO FRAME SYNCHRONIZATION
A remote voice recording is synchronized to video using a cloud-based virtual recording studio within a web browser to record and review audio while viewing the associated video playback and script. All assets are accessed through or streamed within the browser application, thereby eliminating the need for the participants to install any applications or store content locally for later transmission. Recording controls, playback/record status, and audio timeline and script edits are synchronized across participants and may be controlled for all participants remotely by a sound engineer so that each participant sees and hears the section of the program being recorded and edited at the same time. High-resolution audio files for dubbing video are created and time synchronized to the relevant video frames.
ON DEMAND SHARED MEDIA STREAMING WITH LOCATIONAL AND TEMPORAL LIMITATIONS
A shared media streaming system is configured to allow audience members of a movie screening or other live event to view that event via a user device such as a personal smartphone if they exit the area of the live event to visit a concession area or restroom. The shared media stream begins displaying the film on the user device starting at the same moment that the request to stream was made so that the user may leave and return to the screening room without missing substantial portions of the film, and without re-watching already viewed portions of the film. Viewing is limited to particular geofenced areas within a theater, and is limited in time so that users must return to the screening room if they wish to continue watching the film beyond the limited time. Other limitations are also enforced to prevent misuse of the system.
