The present disclosure relates to the technical field of video processing, and disclosed therein are a video processing method, electronic device, and computer-readable medium. The method includes acquiring a video type of a video file scheduled for playing; determining whether the video type is a specified type; and if the video type is a specified type, controlling a graphics processor to process the video file scheduled for playing and then display same on a screen.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a video decoding control method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method includes detecting, in response to detecting a plurality of application programs running in a split-screen mode, one or more application programs in a video playback state among the plurality of application programs; acquiring the one or more application programs detected in the video playback state to serve as one or more to-be-configured application programs; and providing a configuration to decode a video played by the one or more to-be-configured application programs in a manner of hard decoding.

A device is described. The device includes a data interface connector, an application processor, and interface circuitry. The application processor can receive signals via an antenna. The interface circuitry can be coupled between the application processor and the data interface connector. The data interface circuitry can determine a change in a signal property of one of the signals, the change being caused by an impedance mismatch between the data interface connector and a media consumption device. The data interface circuitry can also send the application processor a signal property setting corresponding with the change. The application processor can adjust the signal property of a subsequent one of the signals, in response to the signal property setting from the interface circuitry, to obtain an adjusted signal. The application processor can also send the adjusted signal to the media consumption device.

Apparatus for data communications includes a host interface, which is configured to be connected to a bus of a host computer having a processor and a memory. Processing circuitry, which is coupled to the host interface, is configured to receive video data with respect to a sequence of pixels, the video data including data words of more than eight bits per pixel for at least one pixel component of the pixels, and to write the video data, via the host interface, to at least one buffer in the memory while justifying the video data in the memory so that the successive pixels in the sequence are byte-aligned in the at least one buffer.

A media appliance and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a housing is adapted to be mounted within a wall. A panel forms a front portion of the housing and the panel includes vents and the panel may be mounted substantially flush with the wall. A media player, which includes a set-top box, is disposed within the housing. A pair of ports, disposed within openings defined by the housing, are configured to receive respective connectors. The pair of ports are coupled to the media player and one port is configured for providing a connection to a television and the other port is configured for providing a connection to an external source of signal for the television, as well as power for the media player.

A video displaying method, applied to an electronic apparatus comprising a first display, comprising: (a) selecting a plurality of video contents from a plurality of candidate video contents; and (b) simultaneously displaying selected video contents selected in the step (a), respectively in sub-windows on the first display. Systems and methods for allowing different presentations of a multimedia program, the different presentation delayed relative to each other, by using a delay manifest that includes a sliding window of links to subordinate manifests, and where the subordinate manifests in turn contain links to sequential segments of the multimedia program.

Embodiments include a system, method, and a computer program product for installing operating data on a device. For example, the method may include searching a plurality of channels to locate a message on an active channel for the device, the message being transmitted on each of the plurality of channels; in response to locating the message, analyzing the message to determine a second channel from among the plurality of channels for downloading the operating data for the device, the second channel being different than the first channel; in response to determining the second channel, tuning the device to the second channel; downloading, via the second channel, the operating data for the device; and installing the operating data on the device.

A receiver (20) includes a processing unit (22) that processes a received signal including a plurality of frames, a section identification unit (25) that identifies a first section being a bootstrap in each of the frames based on the received signal, and a control unit (26) that operates the processing unit (22) in the first section of the frame and does not operate the processing unit (22) in a second section of the frame different from the first section during a standby state.

A method for processing live broadcast information, an electronic device and a storage medium are provided, and relates to the technical field of information flow. The method includes: in response to detecting a first event before receiving a playing instruction for a first live broadcast room, acquiring a first playing frame of the first live broadcast room during a live broadcast process of the first live broadcast room; generating preloaded first kernel data according to the first playing frame; in response to receiving the playing instruction for the first live broadcast room, pulling a live broadcast video stream of the first live broadcast room according to the first kernel data; and playing the live broadcast video stream of the first live broadcast room. The live broadcast lag can be reduced and the user experience can be improved.
