Media player in quick menu
A media player in quick menu provides a user with easy access to control content. The media player in the quick menu enables a user to perform operations on the currently watched programming. The media player in the quick menu also provides the user with supplemental information and accessibility to additional content.
Data structure of multimedia file format, encrypting method and device thereof, and decrypting method and device thereof
In a data structure of a multimedia file format, a movie box and a media data box are provided. In each box, a non-encrypted size field, a non-encrypted type field and box data field are provided. In box data of the movie box, information data regarding multimedia data is stored. The multimedia data is encrypted and stored in box data of the media data box. The information data is obtained by referring to the container in the movie box. This information data is held as encryption and encoding information data. By referring to the information data, a data unit of the encrypted multimedia data in the media data box is obtained, and the unit data is decrypted.
VIDEO PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR DEMULTIPLEXING RECEIVED COMPRESSED AND NON-COMPRESSED VIDEO SIGNALS AND TRANSMITTING DEMULTIPLEXED SIGNALS
The present invention is intended to permit both real-time display of a picture represented by a non-compressed video signal on a television and display of a picture represented by a compressed video signal at any desired time by simultaneously transmitting the compressed video signal and non-compressed video signal via one interface. An STB packetizes a compressed video signal, and multiplexes the compressed video signal and a blanking signal combined with a non-compressed video signal. Thus, both the video signals are transmitted simultaneously. A picture represented by the non-compressed video signal is displayed on a television in real time. The compressed video signal is stored in a storage medium incorporated in the television, read at any user's desired time, and decoded so that a picture represented by the compressed video signal can be viewed at the user's desired time.
Wireless communication terminal and communication control method
A wireless communication terminal includes an encoder, configured to encode content data; a destination setting section, configured to set a network address on feedback data for the wireless communication terminal, the network address being set on the wireless communication terminal; a transmitter, configured to transmit the feedback data; a receiver, configured to receive the feedback data transmitted form the transmitter and transferred by way of the wireless communication network; and a reproduction processor, configured to perform reproduction processing on the content data in accordance with the received feedback data.
Vehicle event playback apparatus and methods
Vehicle event data playback systems have been devised and invented to provide authorized users means for advanced visual review. Detailed circumstances relating to vehicle operation are visually presented in these unique playback systems. In particular, a group of cooperating visual display devices operate in conjunction with each other to effect a detailed visual presentation of a vehicle's operational states. An interested party is afforded a high level of access to many data types in highly graphical and intuitive arrangements. Further, data replay access is enhanced by slow motion, fast forward, loop repeat, among others which have never before been associated with these data types nor with the compound visual presentations first taught in the accompanying disclosure.
VIDEO STREAMING APPARATUS, VIDEO EDITING APPARATUS, AND VIDEO DELIVERY SYSTEM
A video delivery system according to the present disclosure includes: a video streaming apparatus which records and transmits a video data; and a video editing apparatus which receives video data and edits a video based on the video data. The video streaming apparatus includes a streaming processing unit which transmits information which indicates whether a record processing unit has recorded a video file. The video editing apparatus includes range designation means which indicates, to a user, a time range for which the video streaming apparatus has recorded a video file, based on determination by the additional information interpretation means.
Media playback system controller having multiple graphical interfaces
Embodiments are described herein that provide a media playback system controller with multiple graphical interfaces. In one aspect, a method is provided that involves (a) causing a graphical display to provide a first graphical interface including at least (i) a first input region and (ii) a first representation of a media item, (b) receiving a first input data indicating a selection within the first input region, (c) based on the received first input data, causing the graphical display to provide a second graphical interface including at least (i) an active region, (ii) an inactive region, and (iii) a second representation of the media item, (d) receiving a second input data indicating a selection within the active region, and (e) based on the received second input data, causing the graphical display to provide one or more media playback controls.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTELLIGENT PLAYBACK
Systems and methods for intelligent playback of media content may include an intelligent media playback system that, in response to determining the speech tempo in audio content by measuring syllable density of speech in the audio content, automatically adjusts a playback speed of the audio content as the audio content is being played based on the determined speech tempo. In some embodiments, the system may automatically and dynamically adjust the playback speed to result in a desired target speech tempo. In addition, the system may determine whether to automatically adjust playback speed of the audio content, as the media is being played, based on the detected speech tempo of the speech in the audio content and the determined type of content of media. Such automatic adjustments in playback speed result in more efficient playback of the audio content.
Automatic self-help video playback for set-top box troubleshooting
A set-top box (STB) determines an occurrence of a first STB error during operation of the STB, and identifies a first error code that corresponds to the first STB error. The STB maps the first error code to a first self-help video of multiple self-help videos stored at the STB, and plays back the first self-video via a display device coupled to the STB.
MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPLICATIONS
Systems and methods according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a user interface including an electronic program guide and scrollable visual directories.
