Recording and broadcasting application visual output
The present disclosure generally relates to sharing application visual output. An example process includes: displaying a first affordance, where the first affordance corresponds to a broadcast application capable of broadcasting data corresponding to a visual output of an application; in response to detecting a first set of one or more user inputs, where the first set of one or more user inputs includes selection of the first affordance: in accordance with a determination that a first user is logged into an account associated with the broadcast application, sending data corresponding to the visual output of the application to the broadcast application for transmitting the data corresponding to the visual output over the communication interface to a remote server; and in accordance with a determination that the first user is not logged into the account associated with the broadcast application, displaying a login window of the broadcast application.
Video streaming system user interface with indications of past time slot content
Systems, devices and processes are provided to facilitate the streaming of video content in a video streaming system. Specifically, the various embodiments provide an improved user interface for a video streaming system. In general, this user interface displays indications of program content of past time slots along with current and future time slots in a way that give the user an intuitive understanding of the percentage of remaining time in the current program. Thus, a user can immediately ascertain the percentage of the current program that has already been streamed relative to the percentage of the current program remaining. This information allows a user to more quickly decide if they would like to start viewing a program that has already been streaming for some period of time.
Method for resolving delivery path unavailability
An apparatus, system and method are disclosed for resolving bandwidth constriction using multiple bandwidths and/or multiple content delivery paths. The apparatus, system and method may include recording requested video content and/or delivering the recorded video content to resolve bandwidth constriction using alternate bandwidths or delivery paths.
AUTOMATED REPLACEMENT OF VIDEO PROGRAM CONTENT
Advertisements in broadcast television programming are digitally replaced with different ads prior to viewing. Replacement can occur in time and/or place shifted content, and can be used to promote a particular advertisement that the viewer has not yet seen, thereby improving the reach of the ad without oversaturation. Data reporting by the playback devices is collected in a database of viewed ads. The information in the database can be used to refresh previously-viewed ads, to increase saturation of particular ads, to replace previously-broadcast but no longer relevant ads, or for other purposes as desired.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ENHANCING USER-GENERATED CONTENT
User-generated content is received from multiple user devices, including first content recorded by a first user device during a first time interval and second content recorded by a second user device during a second time interval. If the second time interval immediately precedes, or immediately follows, the first time interval, then at least a portion of the second content may be appended to the first content. For example, if a user ends recording of the first content before an interesting event occurs, then a portion of the second content may be appended to the first content so that the user has a recording including the missed event. The second content may be selected based on a location, and/or a field of view of the second user device during the second time interval being similar to that of the first user device during the first time interval.
Media substitution task based on broadcast watermark
A radio receiver includes a tuner and processing circuitry, which in turn includes watermark detection circuitry and local playout control circuitry. The tuner receives an over-the-air radio broadcast on a tuned frequency. The over-the-air radio broadcast includes broadcast content. The processing circuitry, which is coupled to the tuner, is used to implement the watermark detection circuitry and local playout control circuitry. The watermark detection circuitry detects an actionable watermark included in the broadcast content, and transmits a watermark-detected signal to the local playout control circuitry in response to detecting the actionable watermark. In response to receiving the watermark-detected signal, the local playout control circuitry initiates retrieval of replacement content.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING BOOKMARK VIDEO FINGERPRINTS
Systems and methods for replacing original media bookmarks of at least a portion of a digital media file with replacement bookmarks is described. A media fingerprint engine detects the location of the original fingerprints associated with the portion of the digital media file and a region analysis algorithm characterizes regions of media file spanning the location of the original bookmarks by data class types. The replacement bookmarks are associated with the data class types and are overwritten or otherwise are substituted for the original bookmarks. The replacement bookmarks then are subjected to a fingerprint matching algorithm that incorporates media timeline and media related metadata.
Acquisition of extracts of a multimedia stream on a terminal
A method for acquiring an extract of a multimedia stream being broadcast on a user's display device, the method being implemented in an user terminal separate from the display device and comprising the following steps: upon reception of a user input for receiving an extract of the multimedia stream being broadcast on the display device, sending to the display device a first request for an identifier of the multimedia stream being broadcast; upon reception of the identifier of the multimedia stream being broadcast, sending to the content server a second request for receiving the multimedia stream extract, said second request including a timestamp of the user input, the identifier of the multimedia stream being broadcast and a duration of the multimedia stream extract; and receiving from the content server the multimedia stream extract or a link to obtain the latter.
Method for storing a multimedia content, associated reading method and method for managing a storage space containing such a content
A method for processing an individual multimedia content by an electronic device, which includes a database containing a user list and a table of recorded individual multimedia contents, a calculation system and a storage system, the method including storing the individual content by allocating a storage space on the storage system; adding an entry relating to the individual multimedia content stored in the table of recorded individual multimedia contents; acquiring the individual multimedia content and writing to memory the individual multimedia content in the allocated storage space, and creating a table of users relating to the stored individual multimedia content, the table of users including, for each user of a sub-set of the list of users contained in the database, a context data. The method also includes performing a method for managing the storage space and/or a method for reading the multimedia content stored in the storage space.
DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND MEDIUM
A data processing method includes: in response to a service enabling operation in a video application, enabling a video recording service in the video application; collecting, using the video recording service, user voice data; determining and identifying a target text that matches prompting text data associated with the video recording service; and acquiring target video data corresponding to the video recording service until a text position of the target text in the prompting text data is at an end of the prompting text data. Embodiments of this application improve the effectiveness of teleprompting functions during a video recording, and the quality of a recorded video may further be improved.
