Digital device transmitting menu data to an external device, and control method thereof
In the present specification, a digital device and a method of processing data in said digital device are disclosed. Here, a digital device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a memory; a user interface unit that receives a menu request signal through a remote application executed in an external device; a display unit that displays an executed application; and a control unit that determines the properties of the received menu request signal on the basis of the application being displayed and generates menu data, implements controlling to transmit the generated menu data to the external device and output the menu data through a screen of the external device, and when a menu item selection signal of the menu output from the external device is received, implements controlling to transmit or activate menu data corresponding to the menu item selection signal.
ARRAY AUGMENTATION FOR AUDIO PLAYBACK DEVICES
Systems and methods for providing augmented arrays for audio playback are disclosed. An example playback device includes a first transducer configured to output audio along a first acoustic axis and a second transducer configured to output audio along a second acoustic axis. The playback device is configured to receive a source stream of audio content including at least a first input channel and a second input channel. The device plays back first audio output via the first transducer based on the first input channel and directed along the first acoustic axis, and plays back second audio output via the second transducer based on the second input channel and directed along the second acoustic axis, wherein the second audio output at least partially cancels the first audio output along a first spatial region offset from the first acoustic axis.
Electronic apparatus, method for controlling mobile apparatus by electronic apparatus and computer readable recording medium
An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a voice receiver, a communication interface, and a processor configured to, based on a user voice being obtained through the voice receiver, identify a mobile apparatus having a user account corresponding to the user voice from among at least one mobile apparatus communicably connected to the electronic apparatus through the communication interface, and transmit a control signal corresponding to the user voice to the identified mobile apparatus through the communication interface.
Content Sharing Method and Electronic Device
A content sharing method includes: receiving a first input for a first electronic device; and displaying a first interface on a screen of the first electronic device in response to the first input, the first interface including at least one of following: a first identifier or N second identifiers, where the first electronic device is one of N electronic devices constituting a target sharing group, the first identifier is an entry to a first content, and the first content is the content shared in the target sharing group by at least two of the N electronic devices; the second identifier is an entry to a second content, and the second content is the content shared in the target sharing group by one of the N electronic devices; and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2.
DISTRIBUTED AUTOMATIC MULTICAST ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT DEVICE AND METHOD
A solution is disclosed for providing automatic multicast address assignment and conflict resolution for AV streams multicast over a networked AV system. The solution includes a device for monitoring the system for messages associated with AV streams multicast over the system and implementing a conflict resolution protocol when a conflict of multicast addresses is detected, where the conflict resolution protocol utilizes automatically randomly selecting a preliminary multicast address from a defined range of addresses.
WATERMARK-BASED METADATA ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING
The disclosed embodiments relate to media devices implementing new television standards, such as ATSC 3.0, which includes audio/video essence and metadata/signaling. The disclosed embodiments include techniques for confirming an association between two media devices by augmenting media content with a watermark using an upstream device, wherein the watermark conveys an identifier. The media content is sent from the upstream device to a downstream device and the watermark is detected using the downstream device. The identifier is transmitted to a server upon the detection of the watermark using the downstream device. The server identifies an association between the upstream and downstream devices upon receipt of the identifier from the downstream device.
AUDIO VIDEO RECEIVER WITH SIMULTANEOUS MULTIZONE 8K VIDEO ROUTING
A video switching system, which can be part of an audio video receivers (AVR), enables simultaneous routing of multiple independent video streams (e.g., 8K video streams) received at HDMI inputs of the AVR from digital media sources to multiple selected digital display devices.
SOUNDBAR AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC SURROUND PAIRING AND CALIBRATION
The disclosure relates to a soundbar and a method for automatic surround pairing and calibration of a surround sound system. The soundbar includes two built-in microphones on the left and right respectively, which can be used for determining relative positions of left and right surround speakers. When the relative positions of the left and right speakers are not correct, configurations of left and right surround channels can be automatically swapped with each other without manually swapping physical positions of the surround speakers by a user. In addition, latencies including a latency of each channel of a main system may also be calibrated, and magnitude compensation may be achieved by calculating a filter compensation coefficient of each line and merging it into an original filter. The automatic surround pairing and calibration of the surround sound system may be one-click completed automatically by the user by pressing a start button.
PASS-THROUGH DEVICE FOR CLOUD GAMING AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING
Methods and systems are provided for processing video games streamed from a cloud gaming system over a network. The method includes receiving an indication of selection of the video game, for a gaming session, through a user interface associated with a streaming device that is connected to a display screen via a pass-through device. The method includes receiving a signal that the gaming session is active, from a game streaming logic of the pass-through device. In one embodiment, the game streaming logic is configured to receive a compressed stream of the video game, decode the compressed stream of the video game, and provide image data for rendering by the display screen, and receiving user input by the game streaming logic for driving interactivity of the video game while said cloud gaming system executes said video game.
MODE SWITCHING METHOD AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
A mode switching method is applied to a display apparatus with a first scenario mode and a second scenario mode. The first scenario mode provides a first shortcut menu, and the second scenario mode provides a second shortcut menu different from the first shortcut menu. The mode switching method includes receiving a first signal source of a first external device, analyzing the first signal source to determine the first external device is matched with the first scenario mode or the second scenario mode, and displaying the first shortcut menu on a display interface of the display apparatus and hiding the second shortcut menu when the first external device is matched with the first scenario mode.
