Reception apparatus and data processing method
A reception apparatus includes a demodulation circuit configured to demodulate packets obtained with respect to each of multiple PLPs included in a broadcast signal; and a processing circuit configured to process the packets demodulated by the demodulation circuit. The demodulation circuit and the processing circuit are connected with each other via a single interface or interfaces fewer than the number of the PLPs. The demodulation circuit adds identification information to a specific packet among the packets obtained with respect to each of the PLP, the identification information identifying the PLP to which each of the packets belongs. The processing circuit identifies the PLP to which belongs each of the packets input from the demodulation circuit via the single interface or the interfaces fewer than the number of the PLPs, based on the identification information obtained from the specific packet.
Wireless transport framework with uncoded transport tunneling
Wireless transport of multiple service versions of a transport framework. First and second information may be processed for transmission, respectively, according to first and second service versions of a transport framework. The first and second information may be encoded using a first type of error correction coding; after processing, the processed first information may include error correction coding according to the first type of error correction coding, while the processed second information may remain uncoded according to the first type of error correction coding. Control information may be generated indicating that the second information remains uncoded according to the first type of error correction coding, which may signal to receivers that the second information is processed according to the second service version of the transport framework. Packets including the processed first information, the processed second information, and the control information may be generated and transmitted in a wireless manner.

The device for receiving a hybrid broadcast service, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a first reception unit for receiving a first broadcast signal transmitted through a first network; a second reception unit for receiving a second broadcast signal transmitted through a second network, wherein the broadcast signal includes a service information table; a signaling information processing unit for extracting the service information table from the broadcast signal, wherein the service information table includes a component identifier descriptor for signaling information for identifying each of a plurality of components constituting one broadcast service, the component identifier descriptor including identification information; and an audio/video processing unit for acquiring the broadcast service including the plurality of components by using the component identification information, and decoding and reproducing the acquired broadcast service.
Broadcast signal transmitting/receiving device and method
A broadcast signal transmitting method is disclosed. The broadcast signal transmitting method comprises the steps of: processing at least one component of a broadcast service on the basis of a delivery protocol; generating service layer signaling (SLS) information including information on the component; generating service list table (SLT) information including bootstrap information for acquiring the SLS information; and generating a signal frame including a physical layer pipe (PLP) by performing a physical layer processing on the at least one component, the SLS information and the SLT information.
Multimedia streams which use control information to associate audiovisual streams
A system and method for wirelessly transmitting audiovisual information. A first plurality of packets including audiovisual information may be generated. A second plurality of packets including error correction coding information for the audiovisual information may be generated. Control information for associating the error correction coding information with the audiovisual information may be generated, and a third plurality of packets including the control information may also be generated. The plurality of packets, including the first, second, and third pluralities of packets, may be transmitted to a mobile device in a wireless manner. The control information may inform the mobile device of the association of the first error correction coding information with the audiovisual information.

The present invention provides an apparatus of transmitting broadcast signals, the apparatus including, an encoder for encoding service data, a frame builder for building at least one signal frame by mapping the encoded service data, a modulator for modulating data in the built at lease one signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM, scheme and a transmitter for transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data.
Transmission method, reception method, transmission apparatus, and reception apparatus
A transmission method includes generating one or more frames for content transfer using IP (Internet Protocol) packets, and transmitting the one or more generated frames by broadcast. Each of the one or more frames contains a plurality of second transfer units, each of the plurality of second transfer units contains one or more first transfer units, and each of the one or more first transfer units contains at least one of the IP packets. An object IP packet of the IP packets which is stored in a first transfer unit positioned at a head in the one or more frames contains reference clock information that indicates time for reproduction of the content in data structure different from data structure of an MMT (MPEG Media Transport) packet, and header compression processing on the object IP packet is omitted.
