Coffee machine with drip coffee dispensing unit
The present disclosure concerns a coffee machine comprising a dispenser element configured to deliver hot water; feeding members in fluid communication with the dispensing element; a filter coffee dispensing unit comprising a tank arranged below the dispensing element along a longitudinal direction, configured to collect the hot water coming from the dispensing element, and having a discharge opening adapted to discharge the hot water accumulated in the tank by gravity into a hopper configured to accommodate a dose of ground coffee.
Beverage Maker
A beverage maker includes a body and a cover movably attached to the body. The body includes therein (among other components), a hot liquid generator (HLG) having a tank, an inlet for receiving liquid into the tank and an outlet, at least one heater in thermal communication with the liquid in the HLG tank, and a discharge port in fluid communication with the outlet of the HLG for discharge of the liquid. The cover is movably attached to the body between a closed position and an open position. At least one valve permits the discharge of the liquid via the discharge port in a closed position of the cover. The at least one valve is mechanically actuated by the cover in the open position of the cover to substantially prevent the discharge of the liquid via the discharge port.
FILTER CONTAINER, FILTER ASSEMBLY, AND EXTRACTION DEVICE
A filter container includes a main part and a filter piece, the main part includes a surrounding portion, an opening, and a coupling portion, the opening and the coupling portion are respectively located at two opposite sides of the surrounding portion, the filter piece is arranged at the coupling portion.
BEVERAGE-MAKING APPARATUS
A beverage-making apparatus includes a water supply heater configured to heat water; an ingredient supplier connected to the water supply heater through a water supply channel, the ingredient supplier having an ingredient accommodation part formed therein; an air injector connected to the water supply channel; and a container connected to the ingredient supplier through a first channel.
COFFEE MAKER
A coffee maker includes a base for supporting a coffee cup. A support arm is mounted on an upper surface of the base and extends perpendicularly to the base. The support arm includes a chamber. A holding tube extends outward from a top portion of the support arm. A reservoir securely is held by the holding tube and receives a liquid. A bracket extends outward from an intermediate portion of the support arm. A dissolution cup is supported by the bracket. A driver is mounted in the support arm and is configured to drive the reservoir to rotate. The liquid in the reservoir flow swirlingly into the dissolution cup to fully and evenly contact with surfaces of the coffee powder, thereby fully extracting the coffee powders. The liquid flows into the coffee cup after dissolving the coffee powder.
COLLAPSIBLE, FLOW-RESTRICTED, CONTROLLED-POUR PITCHER FOR BREWING COFFEE
A collapsible hot liquid pitcher with an adjustable flow restrictor is disclosed that provides an easily controlled pour of hot water from the spout at the end of the pitcher's neck. The pitcher can be made of a rubbery material so that it can be compressed into a small shape for traveling. An insulating layer on the pitcher prevents the hot liquid from burning the user's hand during pouring. An adjustable flow restrictor gate with different sized flow sluices is provided in the pitcher's neck so that the amount of hot water admitted through the flow restrictor gate into the neck can be changed. The restrictor gate can be removed to change the desired flow. The orientation of the restrictor gate, the shape of the pitcher's neck and spout, and the shape and angle of the spout's face work to produce a controlled flow of hot water that pours downwardly in a steady, vertical stream for brewing.
BEVERAGE-MAKING APPARATUS
A beverage-making apparatus includes a water supply heater configured to heat water; an ingredient supplier connected to the water supply heater through a water supply channel; a container connected to the ingredient supplier through a first channel; a first valve configured to regulate a flow through the first channel; and a beverage extractor connected to the first channel at a location between the ingredient supplier and the first valve.
Beverage Preparation Machines and Methods For Operating Beverage Preparation Machines
A method of operating a beverage preparation machine, the beverage preparation machine being of the type comprising a brewer comprising: a reservoir containing water; a delivery head for receiving in use a cartridge containing one or more beverage ingredients; a pump for pumping water from said reservoir to said delivery head; a primary heater for heating the water contained in said reservoir; a secondary heater in between the reservoir and the delivery head; a controller for controlling energisation of the primary heater and the secondary heater; and wherein the controller operates to prevent energisation of the primary heater simultaneous with energisation of the secondary heater. An apparatus for carrying out the method is also disclosed and methods and apparatus utilising first and second brewers.
HOT AND COLD BEVERAGE DISPENSING APPARATUS
A hot and cold beverage dispensing apparatus for dispensing a hot and a cold beverage separately includes a water storage tank, a hot water circuit, a cold water circuit, beverage extract holding chambers, nozzles, and a control system. The hot water circuit receives water from the water storage tank and heats the water. The cold water circuit is isolated from the hot water circuit and receives the water from the water storage tank. The water is recirculated multiple times to make the cold beverage. The beverage extract holding chambers receive either the heated water or the cold water to make the hot beverage or the cold beverage respectively. The nozzles dispense the hot or the cold beverage respectively based on a selection received by a control system. The control system actuates one-way valves to control the flow of the water based on the received selection.
Apparatus for Brewing a Beverage
An infusion chamber has a top perimeter cover that defines an aperture to pass air to an air vent and receive fluid from fluid outlets. The infusion chamber has an outer chamber and an inner chamber positioned within the outer chamber, where the spacing between the outer chamber and the inner chamber defines a void. An air manifold is positioned at the base of the inner chamber. The air manifold includes air inlet channels, air exit channels and an interior solids filter. The infusion chamber also has a base housing positioned at the bottom of the infusion chamber, and a plunger positioned in the base housing to selectively evict liquid from the inner chamber.
