METHODS AND APPARATUS TO IDENTIFY AND CREDIT MEDIA USING RATIOS OF MEDIA CHARACTERISTICS
Apparatus, systems, articles of manufacture, and methods to identify and credit media using ratios of media characteristics are disclosed herein. Example apparatus to identify media include at least one memory, instructions, and at least one processor to execute the instructions to: determine a first ratio based on a first time interval and a second time interval of a monitored media signal; determine a second ratio based on the second time interval and a third time interval of the monitored media signal; generate a first ratio signature based on the first and second ratios; and initiate transmission of the first ratio signature to a recipient that is to compare the first signature with a second ratio signature to identify the media.
SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC INSERTION OF ADVERTISEMENTS
Systems and methods are described to detect a location to place an advertisement in a media asset, the method comprising, identifying a plurality of points in a video frame of a media asset, detecting a color associated with each point of the plurality of points, calculating a change in color between each point of the plurality of points, comparing the change in color between each point of the plurality of points with a threshold, identifying, based on the comparing, an area within the frame that constitutes a surface; and selecting an advertisement to be placed on the surface.
PROVIDING VISUAL GUIDANCE FOR PRESENTING VISUAL CONTENT IN A VENUE
Systems, methods, and computer program products can provide visual guidance on presenting content on a media surface of a venue. These systems, methods, and computer program products can operate by mapping visual content onto a media surface of the venue and a key feature unique to the visual content and/or the media surface being extracted. Thereafter, these systems, methods, and computer program products can retrieve an experiment metric corresponding to the visual content and/or the media surface and can determine a viewer location metric and/or a media surface metric based on the experiment metric and the key feature. These systems, methods, and computer program products can utilize the viewer location metric and/or the media surface metric to provide a hint of the attribute to a user.
Mini-Banner Content
Devices, systems, and methods are provided for use in interpreting, converting, generating, embedding, presenting, storing and otherwise using mini-banner content. For at least one embodiment, a mini-banner content system may include a secondary content system element which executes non-transient computer executable instructions to configure: a content interpreter to interpret secondary content, identify aspect information, and output the aspect information; a content converter, which when receiving aspect information at least one of retrieves a first element corresponding to the aspect information and/or generates a second element corresponding to the aspect information, and generates a mini-banner content element based upon results of the retrieving operation and/or the generating operation.
Use of Steganographically-Encoded Time Information as Basis to Establish a Time Offset, to Facilitate Taking Content-Related Action
A method and system for using steganographically-encoded time information as a basis to control when a client carries out a content-related action. The client processes for presentation one or more linear media streams, each defining a respective time sequence of frames of media content, and at least one of the streams being steganographically encoded with at least one watermark at a respective time-point within the linear media stream, the watermark encoding a timestamp of the respective time-point within the linear media stream according to a server clock. The client extracts the timestamp from the watermark and computes a time offset based on a difference between the extracted timestamp and a current time according to a client clock. And the client uses the computed time offset as a basis to determine when the client should carry out a content-related action in a given one of the one or more linear media streams.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND ITS EXECUTION METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to an electronic device and its execution method and a computer-readable medium. An electronic device, comprising: a memory having instructions stored thereon; a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory to cause the electronic device to perform the following operations: analyzing an original video stream being played to determine start time and duration of a first video stream part to be replaced in the original video stream; retrieving a second video stream part with the same duration; playing the second video stream part in a front end at the determined start time to play the original video stream in a backend; and playing the original video stream in the front end after finishing playing the second video stream part.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING OUTPUT OF A TELEVISION DEVICE
A method for controlling a television device, is implemented using a processor and includes: detecting user operation associated with a control interface for controlling operations of the television device; when it is determined that the television device is powered on, and that the television device has been in an idle state and no user operation has been detected for a predetermined amount of time, controlling the television device to playa selected advertisement; and when user operation is detected, controlling the television device to resume to a state prior to the playing of the selected advertisement.
ANALYSIS OF COPY PROTECTED CONTENT AND USER STREAMS
In one example, a method performed by a processing system including at least one processor includes obtaining a first stream of audio and video data, wherein the first stream of audio and video data comprises a lower-resolution version of a second stream of audio and video data that is transmitted to a first user device over a content distribution network and encrypted using a high-bandwidth digital content protection protocol, performing an analysis technique on the first stream of audio and video data in order to extract audio and video artifacts which from which content of the first stream of audio and video data is inferred, deriving a signature marker from the audio and video artifacts, and sending the signature marker to the first user device.
Methods and systems for data visualization
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for data visualization. The systems may perform the methods to obtain a video having a plurality of frames including a plurality of objects; identify a target object from the plurality of objects according to the plurality of frames; determine one or more track points of the target object, each of the one or more track points being corresponding to the target object in one of the plurality of frames; determine a first track of the target object based on the track points, the first track including at least one of the one or more track points of the target object; determine a second track of the target object based on the first track, the second track including at least one of the track points of the first track; generate a video analysis result by analyzing the second track; and visualize the video analysis result.
Method for synchronizing an additional signal to a primary signal
The present invention relates to a method for synchronizing an additional signal to a primary signal. Synchronization information for a primary signal is generated by extracting at least one signal feature sequence of the primary signal and comparing it to DB feature sequences stored in a database. If the signal feature sequence matches one of the DB feature sequences to a predetermined degree, then synchronization information of the matching DB feature sequences is allocated to the primary signal at a position specified by the signal feature sequence. The synchronization information is transmitted to a playback device, which outputs an additional signal to the primary signal based on the synchronization information.
