The module (2) further has a first part (25) and a second part (26) that can be relatively moved between: a transfer configuration for introducing a beverage ingredient (4) between the first and second parts (25, 26) and/or removing the ingredient from therebetween; and a processing configuration for forming said beverage (5) from said ingredient (4) between the first and second parts (25, 26). The machine also includes: a liquid driver (31) for driving a liquid along a liquid line (30) from a liquid source (32) via the processing module (2) to the outlet (20); a drop collector (1) having a beverage guide (10) and a motor (11) for moving the guide (10) relatively to the outlet (20) into either a dispensing position for dispensing beverage (5) from the outlet (20) into a dispensing area (6) or a collecting position for dispensing residual beverage (5′) from the outlet (20) into a service area (7); a control unit (3) for controlling the liquid driver (31) and the motor (11, 11a, 11b); and a user-interface (3′) for providing user-instructions to the control unit (3). The module (2) comprises a module actuator (21) for driving the first and second parts (25, 26) from the transfer configuration to the processing configuration and vice-versa, the actuator (21) being independent of the motor (11). The control unit (3) is arranged to activate the liquid driver (31) and the motor (11) upon receiving a user-instruction from the user-interface (32) independently of a presence or an absence of a receptacle (60) in the dispensing area (6).
HOT AND COLD BEVERAGE DISPENSING APPARATUS
A hot and cold beverage dispensing apparatus for dispensing a hot and a cold beverage separately includes a water storage tank, a hot water circuit, a cold water circuit, beverage extract holding chambers, nozzles, and a control system. The hot water circuit receives water from the water storage tank and heats the water. The cold water circuit is isolated from the hot water circuit and receives the water from the water storage tank. The water is recirculated multiple times to make the cold beverage. The beverage extract holding chambers receive either the heated water or the cold water to make the hot beverage or the cold beverage respectively. The nozzles dispense the hot or the cold beverage respectively based on a selection received by a control system. The control system actuates one-way valves to control the flow of the water based on the received selection.
Coffee Maker and Control Method Thereof
Provided is a coffee maker, comprising a shell body, a brewing assembly, a slight pressure assembly, a heating assembly and a filtering assembly; the brewing assembly comprises a brewing vessel installed on the shell body; the brewing vessel has a hollow accommodation chamber, which accommodates stuff to be brewed; the slight pressure assembly comprises a booster pump and a pressure pipe; the booster pump is connected with the pressure pipe; the pressure pipe is in communication with the accommodation chamber; the booster pump is configured to supply slight pressure to the brewing vessel; the heating assembly is in communication with the accommodation chamber assembly, and is configured to supply heated water to the brewing vessel; and the filtering assembly is provided on a lower part of the brewing vessel and is in communication with the accommodation chamber. A control method of the coffee maker is further provided.
APPARATUS FOR RELEASING AN INGREDIENT FROM A CAPSULE
An apparatus for releasing an ingredient from a capsule is disclosed. The apparatus has a stud plate which comprises a set of openings for receiving capsule contents as pressurized jets. A jet shaping unit is downstream of the stud plate and has a set of one or more jet shaping elements. A jet shaping element is associated with a set of one or more of the openings of the stud plate. This reduces a flow velocity of the pressurized jets, and thereby prevents jets generating bubbles which could otherwise decrease the smoothness of the delivered capsule contents.
Virtual sight glass for a portable beverage dispensing container
A portable beverage dispensing container comprises a housing and an internal beverage holding tank positioned in and contained within the housing. The internal beverage holding tank is configured to receive and store a beverage, and the internal beverage holding tank is constructed from a translucent material. The housing includes an opening through a rear surface thereof, such that light from a light source (which is installed at a brewing station) can be directed through the opening and through the internal beverage holding tank, such a light pattern is projected on a sight glass window on a front surface of the housing that provides a visual indication of provide a visual indication of the level of the beverage in the shuttle, along with a visual indication of the status of the brewed beverage.
Beverage brewing assembly for a refrigerator appliance
A brewing assembly for a refrigerator appliance includes a dispensing assembly for selectively dispensing a flow of water within a chilled chamber of the refrigerator appliance. A pitcher is removably positioned below the dispensing assembly and includes an upper reservoir for receiving, storing, and slowly distributing the flow of water into a brew module positioned below the upper reservoir and comprising a plurality of canisters for receiving brewing contents and the flow of water to create a brewed beverage. A lower reservoir is positioned below the brew module for receiving the brewed beverage from the plurality of canisters.
Cold brew coffee brewing machine
A cold brew coffee brewing machine is provided. The cold brew coffee brewing machine may have an upper chamber and a generally identical lower chamber wherein the upper chamber and the lower chamber may be, for example, common mason jars. A filter unit may be secured between the upper chamber and the lower chamber when the coffee brewing machine is in use. A hand pump may be connected to the filter unit and may provide air pressure to the upper chamber. The lower chamber may then be secured to the filter unit and the entire device inverted. Both gravity and air pressure created by the hand pump may be used to force the water through the filter unit so that the drinkable coffee enters the lower chamber.
Raised bottom cold brewer and method using same
Described is a raised bottom cold brewing system comprising a bucket having a top side, a cavity, a platform within the cavity, and a bottom side, a lid configured to be placed on top side of the bucket, and a faucet. The bottom side of the bucket includes a raised bottom and a channel surrounding the raised bottom, the platform includes a plurality of openings, and the faucet is below the platform and above the raised bottom and channel.
TEA LEAF AND WATER SEPARATION CUP
The present disclosure discloses a tea leaf and water separation cup, and relates to the field of tea cups. The tea leaf and water separation cup includes a cup body and a lid; the lip is mounted on the cup body through threads; a plurality of anti-skid slots are formed in the lid; an upper tea leaf chamber and a lower tea leaf chamber are arranged in the cup body; and the lower tea leaf chamber is fastened to the upper tea leaf chamber. In the present disclosure, the upper tea leaf chamber and the lower tea leaf chamber can be adsorbed to the lid by using an attractive force of a magnet, and are conveniently separated from the lid, so that the tea leaf chambers can be connected to the lid in an attracting manner.
COLD BREW BEVERAGE BREWING SYSTEMS
A cold brew coffee apparatus has a first container, a second container, a centerpiece connector, and a filter. Preferably, the filter is positionable within the first container such that it divides the filter interior volume from the remainder of the first container interior volume. Preferably, cold brew infusion occurs when water in the first container interior volume passes through the water-permeable barrier and soaks coffee grounds within the filter interior volume to form a soluble coffee extract. An alternative cold brew coffee apparatus includes only a single brew chamber and a filter.
