SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AND MANAGING VIDEO STREAM CONTENT

A system and method for managing and monitoring video stream content. The method including: receiving a traffic flow; determining if the traffic flow is a video streaming traffic flow; if the traffic flow is a video streaming traffic flow; determine at least one attribute associated with the video streaming traffic flow; determine a probability that the traffic flow is fraudulent based on a heuristic analysis of the at least one associated attribute; if the probability is above a predetermined threshold, flag the traffic flow as a fraudulent video streaming traffic flow, otherwise allow the traffic flow to proceed to its destination without being flagged; if the traffic flow is not a video streaming traffic flow, allow the traffic flow to proceed to its destination.

A device for use in a system for tracking a chain-of-manipulation (CoM) of audio-video (AV) content includes a hardware processor, and a system memory storing a CoM tagging software code and an AV processing application. The hardware processor executes the CoM tagging software code to detect manipulation of the AV content by the AV processing application that modifies at least one of video or audio of the AV content, and to generate, when the manipulation is detected, one or more CoM tag(s) including a device identification tag identifying the device used for modifying the AV content. The hardware processor also executes the CoM tagging software code to insert the CoM tag(s) in each modified segment of the AV content modified by the AV processing application, the inserted CoM tag(s) being human and machine imperceptible when the AV content is played back by a playback device on a display.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VERIFICATION OF VIDEO INTEGRITY BASED ON BLOCKCHAIN

Disclosed herein are a blockchain-based video integrity verification system and method. The blockchain-based video integrity verification system includes: a blockchain system including a plurality of distributed nodes configured to store video integrity-related information; and a video management server including an integrity checking unit configured to perform an integrity check of an original video received from a user terminal, and a blockchain communication unit configured to transmit video integrity-related information, including information about the result of the integrity check and the hash value of the original video, to the blockchain system. The blockchain system stores the video integrity-related information transmitted from the video management server, transmits information about a storage location, at which the video integrity-related information is stored, to the video management server, and transmits a video integrity verification result based on the hash value of a query video, received from the user terminal, to the user terminal.

Audio-visual content monitoring and quarantine system and method

A system and method are presented for content control and monitoring in a multi-party video stream using a specialized user interface (UI). Particular participants are identified as luminaries and allowed to specify off-limit topics. Other participants are presented UIs that require agreement to avoid off-limit topics. All participants are immediately able to report problem behavior during the stream through the provided UI. Reports made through this interface immediately result in quarantining compensation and streaming content including reports relating to the off-limit topics. Administrative UIs allow for quicker understanding of the reporting issues, quicker review of the potentially offending stream, and quicker resolution of the report.

RELEVANCY IMPROVEMENT THROUGH TARGETING OF INFORMATION BASED ON DATA GATHERED FROM A NETWORKED DEVICE ASSOCIATED WITH A SECURITY SANDBOX OF A CLIENT DEVICE
20210075833 · 2021-03-11 ·

A system includes a networked device generating a fingerprint of media data rendered thereon, with the networked device having an identification data associated therewith, and a first set of computer implemented instructions executing to generate content identification data from the fingerprint. The system also includes a second set of computer implemented instructions executing to associate the content identification data with the identification data of the networked device, and associate the identification data of the networked device with an identification data of a user of the networked device involved in an interaction with the networked device. The interaction is associated with the rendering of the media data on the networked device.

A system includes a networked device configured to generate a fingerprint data, a first server configured to generate content identification data based on the fingerprint data, and a second server configured to: match the content identification data generated through the first server to an identification data of the networked device, and match the identification data of the networked device to an identification data of a user.

Integrated circuit (IC) portholes and related techniques

An integrated circuit (IC) structure includes a device layer including a security-critical wire and a metal layer disposed over the device layer. The metal layer includes at least one wire and an IC porthole. The IC porthole has a perimeter that defines a shape such that, when the perimeter of the IC porthole is projected onto the device layer, the projection of the IC porthole perimeter includes at least a segment of the security-critical wire, and the at least one wire in the metal layer does not overlap the security-critical wire within the projection of the IC porthole perimeter to thereby allow post-fabrication optical inspection of the security-critical wire through the IC porthole.

Method of identifying an abridged version of a video

A computer-implemented method of identifying whether a target video comprises an abridged version of a reference video includes evaluating condition a) that the target video does not comprise all shots of the reference video; condition b) that the target video includes groups of consecutive shots also included in the reference video; and condition c) that all shots which are present in both the target video and the reference video are in the same order. The method further includes identifying whether the target video comprises an abridged version of the reference video; and outputting a result of the identifying. The target video is identified as comprising an abridged version of the reference video on condition that conditions a), b) and c) are met. Also provided is a data processing apparatus for performing the method; and a computer program and computer readable storage medium comprising instructions to perform the method.

Live Multiparty Audio-Visual Communication Linking System and Method
20200344277 · 2020-10-29 · ·

A system and method are presented for the creation and management of live audio-visual streams between multiple parties. An organizing computer system requests a system server to establish a stream with a limited, preset number of slots. Other computer systems request to join the stream. Once the present number of slots is filled, a queue is established for waiting computer systems. Participating computer systems can be limited in their participation to a present time period, after which they are removed from the streams. Removal of one computer system from the stream opens a slot for another, which is filed from the queue of waiting computer systems. The queue can be sorted through a variety of means, including FIFO and auction.

Audio-Visual Portion Generation from a Live Video Stream
20200344501 · 2020-10-29 · ·

A system and method are presented for sharing an audio-visual stream from a server system with a plurality of participant computer systems and for the automated generation of portions. Each participant computer system provides audio and visual data which is converted into the audio-visual stream by the server system. The server system then shares the audio-visual stream with the participant computer systems. During the audio-visual stream, a participant computer can request a portion at a time T. The server will automatically generate a portion audio-visual file using audio and visual data from the stream extending from before time T to after time T. After creation of the portion, the participant computer can modify the timing of the portion and can modify the visual presentation of the portion.
