METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PROJECTOR, PROJECTOR, AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
A method for controlling a projector, the method comprising: determining, when the projector having an RF tag is started up, whether a setting that permits a process of reading out setting information stored in the RF tag and configuring a setting on the projector based on the setting information is configured or not; determining whether a password requested to be inputted to an information processing device is at an initial value or not, when the setting information is written into the RF tag from the information processing device; and notifying a user of a warning message when it is determined that the setting that permits the process is configured and it is determined that the password is at the initial value.
System and circuit for display power state control
A system and circuit for television power state control are disclosed. In one embodiment, a power management circuit communicatively controls television or set-top box components including a signal processing circuitry, a screen, and a visual indicator. The power management circuit selectively alternates the television between three states: powered
Electronic device and control method thereof
An electronic device is disclosed. The device includes a memory, a communication interface, and a processor configured to change, based on an event for turning off the electronic apparatus, first information indicating support for a fixed rate link (FRL) in EEID information stored in the memory into second information indicating no support for the FRL, and provide the second information to a source device connected through the communication interface.
Providing energy-efficient features using human presence detection
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for the detection of human presence in an energy efficient manner using a plurality of sensors such as those of a battery-powered device such as a television remote, and a device with a processor, such as a television. Data gathered from an initial television WiFi radio scan, or an initial low-powered detection scan from the television remote, may be analyzed by the processor to determine a potential presence of one or more humans are present proximate to the device. If there is such a potential presence, the device remote can enter a full-powered detection mode to accurately determine the presence or absence of one or more humans, and take further actions.
Reset system for a remote physical device
In one embodiment, a cable distribution system includes a head end connected to a plurality of customer devices through a transmission network that includes a remote fiber node that converts digital data to analog data suitable for said plurality of customer devices. The remote fiber node includes a processor. The remote fiber node resetting software applications of a control plane of the remote fiber node in a manner free from impacting providing services to the customers as a result of resetting software applications. The remote fiber node executing the reset software applications.
Method and apparatus for pushing information
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus for pushing information. An implementation of the method includes: receiving a network connection request sent by a TV terminal, the network connection request including an address related to the TV terminal; selecting, based on the address, a user identifier associated with the address in a candidate user identifier set; acquiring a search keyword searched by a user indicated by the selected user identifier within a target period; and selecting, based on the search keyword, to-be-pushed information in a preset to-be-pushed information set, and pushing the selected to-be-pushed information to the TV terminal. This embodiment improves the richness of the to-be-pushed information while improving the pertinence of information push.
Configuration of Playback Device Audio Settings
Example techniques describe may facilitate a playback device applying a determined audio setting. An example implementation involves a first playback device receiving, over an unsecure network, a message indicating that a second playback device is available to join a playback network, wherein the first playback device is connected to the playback network. Based on a preexisting configuration table, the first playback device determines an audio setting corresponding to a playback configuration for the second playback device, the playback configuration including the second playback device playing back audio synchronously with the first playback device in the playback network. The first playback device transmits, to the second playback device, one or more messages instructing the second playback device to apply the determined audio setting upon joining the playback network. Applying the determined audio setting includes forming the playback configuration with the first playback device to play back audio synchronously.
