SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED CONTENT ACCESSIBILITY SCORING
20230269431 · 2023-08-24 ·

Provided herein are methods and systems for improved accessibility scoring for content items. A predicted accessibility score may be based on a plurality of multimodal features present within a content item. The plurality of multimodal features may include video features (e.g., based on video/image analysis), audio features (e.g., based on audio analysis), text-based features (e.g., based on closed-captioning analysis), features indicated by metadata (e.g., duration, genre, etc.), a combination thereof, and/or the like. A predicted accessibility score for a content item may indicate how accessible the content item may be for persons who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, cognitively impaired, etc., as well as for persons who desire to view content that requires less visual attention and/or audio attention as the case may be.

METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY TRAINING A SYSTEM TO DETERMINE AN AGE RATING OF MEDIA CONTENT

A system and method for dynamically training a system to determine an age rating for media content. An exemplary method includes obtaining age rating data for a plurality of territories; determining, based on the age rating data, a similarity vector relating to the target territory; determining, for the similarity vector, a territory associated with a highest prediction score; in response to determining that the territory associated with the highest prediction score is not the source territory, generating a training dataset comprising the age rating data for the target territory, the source territory, and the territory associated with the highest prediction score; and executing a machine learning model, trained by the training dataset, to output an age rating for a content item in the target territory based on an age rating for the content item in the source territory.

Fake video detection using block chain

Detection of whether a video is a fake video derived from an original video and altered is undertaken using a block chain that either forbids adding to the block chain copies of original videos that have been altered or indicating in the block chain that an altered video has been altered. Image fingerprinting techniques are described for determining whether video sought to be added to block chain has been altered.

ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

An electronic apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a processor configured to: obtain user data including a viewing history of a plurality of contents; determine a viewing tendency of a plurality of users based on the viewing history; identify user features corresponding to the viewing tendency based on first reference data regarding relations between user features of the plurality of users and the viewing tendency, the first reference data being provided based on viewing histories of the plurality of users for the plurality of contents; identify a target user having a user feature corresponding to a designated content feature based on second reference data regarding relations between the user feature and content features of the plurality of contents, the second reference data being provided based on the viewing history of the plurality of users; and perform a content-related operation regarding the target user.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GENERATING PERSONALIZED DATA-STREAMING FOR A MULTIMEDIA PLAYBACK DEVICE
20220150560 · 2022-05-12 ·

A method in a networking environment to generate personalized data-streaming for a multimedia playback device is provided. The method includes deploying an ABR based data-streaming logic as a base-model at a multimedia playback device, obtaining parameters for a time duration based on a multimedia-playback at the multimedia playback device, obtaining a statistical mean for the parameters based on a first statistical analysis, identifying a parameter from the parameters by comparing the obtained mean against a threshold weight associated with the parameters in accordance with the base model, scaling the identified parameter in a predefined format as training, applying a second statistical analysis to the identified parameter of the playback device and another playback device for determining a covariance between both devices and determining a category of the playback device based on the covariance and deploying a version of the trained base model upon the playback device based on the category.

Methods of and devices for adaptive bit rate, ABR, video resolution shaping of a video stream in a telecommunications system

A method of supporting Adaptive Bit Rate, ABR, video resolution shaping of a video data stream of a video session transferred by a User Plane Function, UPF, in a Service Based Architecture, SBA, domain. The video resolution shaping is performed by the UPF implementing a Reinforcement Learning Agent, RLA, operating with an observation space having a determined video resolution of a received video data stream, a reward space having a reward referring to a required video resolution, and an action space having video resolution shaping levels to be applied at the received video data stream. Complementary methods and devices for performing such a method in an SBA domain deployed in a telecommunications system are disclosed.

TECHNIQUES FOR RICH INTERACTION IN REMOTE LIVE PRESENTATION AND ACCURATE SUGGESTION FOR REHEARSAL THROUGH AUDIENCE VIDEO ANALYSIS

Techniques performed by a data processing system for facilitating an online presentation session include establishing the session for a first computing device of a presenter and a plurality of second computing devices of a plurality of participants, receiving a set of first media streams comprising presentation content from the first computing device, sending a set of second media streams to the plurality of second computing devices, receiving a set of third media streams from the computing devices of a first subset of the plurality of participants including video content of first subset of the participants captured by the respective computing devices of the first subset of participants, analyzing the set of third media streams to identify a set of first reactions by the first subset participants to obtain first reaction information, determining first graphical representation information representing the first reaction information, and sending a fourth media stream to cause the first computing device to display the first graphical representation information while the presentation content is being provided via the set of first media streams.

Reproduction control of scene description

A media rendering device and method for reproduction control of scene description is provided. The media rendering device retrieves media content that includes a set of filmed scenes and text information. The text information includes video description information and timing information. The video description information describes a filmed scene in the set of filmed scenes. The media rendering device further extracts the timing information to reproduce the video description information from the text information of the filmed scene. The media rendering device further controls the reproduction of the video description information in either a textual representation or in a textual and audio representation at a first-time interval indicated by the extracted timing information of the filmed scene.

Methods and apparatus to determine a conditional probability based on audience member probability distributions for media audience measurement

Methods, apparatus, systems to determine a conditional probability based on audience member probability distributions for media audience measurement are disclosed. Disclosed example methods for media audience measurement include determining a first audience probability distribution for a first member of a household and determining a second audience probability distribution for a second member of the household. Disclosed example methods also include calculating probabilities for audience combinations of the first member and the second member of the household based on the first audience probability distribution and the second audience probability distribution. Disclosed example methods further include determining a household audience characteristic probability based on the calculated probabilities of the audience combinations of the household. The household audience characteristic indicates likelihoods of different possible audience compositions of the household for a media event.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR RECOMMENDING CONTENT RESTRICTIONS
20230254538 · 2023-08-10 ·

Systems and methods are described herein for recommending content restrictions to a user based on chatter in a social network of the user. The system analyzes chatter in the social network to identify a correlation between what is posted by users and the content that the users are posting about. The system stores a mapping between chatter and expected attributes of the content referenced by the chatter. The system will determine whether to block the content when an expected attribute is associated with a content restriction.
