Hot fluid preparation unit for a fully automatic coffee machine
A hot fluid preparation unit for a fully automatic coffee machine is specified. With the goal of reducing the heating-up time of a fluid, the solution according to the invention provides that the hot fluid preparation unit has a temperature control device, a fluid heating arrangement, a rectifier circuit and a power semiconductor switching device. The rectifier circuit is connected at an input of the rectifier circuit to an AC voltage supply and at an output of the rectifier circuit, via the power semiconductor switching device, to the fluid heating arrangement. The power semiconductor switching device is designed in a controllable manner such that it selectively switches through the output of the rectifier circuit to the fluid heating arrangement. The temperature control device is configured to control the power semiconductor switching device in a pulsed manner, in order thus to perform a temperature adjustment.
Drinks preparation machine
A drinks preparation machine includes a preparation module for preparing a brewed drink from water and from an extraction material or extract and further includes a display device. The machine is configured to permit a user to make the setting of a first drinks quantity before a start of the drinks preparation, and after the start, during the drinks preparation, to permit the adjustment of a remaining drinks quantity, which is different from zero, via the operating element.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A beverage preparation apparatus and method are provided, the apparatus including a brewing chamber, at least one pump configured to supply a diluent to the brewing chamber, two heaters configured to heat the diluent, at least one heater of the two heaters being a pipe heater, a controller configured to independently supply power to one or both of the heaters as a function of a flow rate and of a temperature of the diluent.
Instant-response on-demand water heater
An on-demand hot water dispenser includes a housing, a water heating system received in the housing, and a faucet connected to the water heating system through the housing for dispensing hot water into a container. A drip tray is positioned below the faucet and a screen covers the drip tray to support the container during dispensing of the hot water.
Device for making a beverage adapted to accurately set a dispense temperature of the beverage
In a device (1) for making a beverage on the basis of interaction between a beverage extract and an extracting fluid, which comprises an openable and closeable chamber (50) for receiving and accommodating a quantity of the beverage extract, and heating/cooling means (30) for setting the temperature of the extracting fluid, arranged upstream of the chamber (50), a beverage making process can be performed with extracting fluid that is exactly at a desired temperature. During heat-up or cool-down phases of the heating/cooling means (30), the extracting fluid is transported to another position than the chamber (50) where the beverage making process is supposed to take place. For the purpose of determining an appropriate path of the extracting fluid in every possible situation, valve means (60) are applied, which are switchable under the influence of a change of the flow rate of the extracting fluid.
A TWO-STAGE WATER BOILER FOR A HOT BEVERAGE VENDING MACHINE
A two-stage water boiler for a hot beverage vending machine, comprising a storage water heater and a continuous-flow water heater fluidically connectable in series; wherein the storage water heater is configured to contain water at atmospheric pressure, and the continuous-flow water heater is configured to be supplied, through a water pump, with water drawn from the storage water heater.
MODULAR BREW SYSTEMS
A modular brewing system is described for providing hot water and managing power to multiple brew tower modules using a single centralized boiler and power management module so as to limit the number of high-power circuits required in a coffeehouse or store. The boiler and power management module manages power of components of the centralized boiler assembly and any brew tower modules connected thereto, including the boiler heaters, the grinder motors, and the brew chamber heaters.
Beverage-Making Machine
A beverage-making machine includes: a housing; a fluid reservoir mounted to the housing; a pump fluidly connected with the water reservoir; a heating unit; and a brew station having an outlet; wherein the fluid reservoir, the pump, the heating unit and the brew station define a fluid path. The beverage-making machine further comprises a controller configured to: (a) detect performance of a pre-brewing action, and in response initiate preheating of the heating unit; then (b) detect performance of a brew activation action, and in response activate the pump to convey fluid from the fluid reservoir along the fluid path to the outlet of the brew station to prepare a brewed beverage.
SYSTEM FOR TRACKING AND DISPLAYING THE POSITION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND OF A CONTROL METHOD FOR DISPENSING A HOT FLUID AND DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A HOT FLUID
Described is a control method for dispensing a hot fluid in a fluid dispensing device, which comprises a power supply source; a source of fluid to be heated; a feed unit configured for picking up the fluid to be heated; a boiler or heat exchanger; a dispensing device configured for dispensing the hot fluid and a data control and processing system which actuates the following steps: a measurement of inlet parameters comprising at least an inlet power value and an inlet temperature of the fluid towards the boiler or heat exchanger; a cyclical calculation of a quantity of heat generated which must supply the boiler or heat exchanger and/or a quantity of fluid dispensed; consequent adjustment of the value of heat generated by the boiler or heat exchanger and/or the quantity of fluid dispensed, as a function of the measurements of the inlet parameters and of a wanted or desired value of outlet temperature of the fluid; the above-mentioned measurement, cyclical calculation and adjustment steps are performed simultaneously and in real time during a step of dispensing fluid by the dispensing device.
