Customized 360-degree media viewing
A device may be configured to render at least one spatial region of 360-degree media content, which may include two or more spatial regions. The device may include a receiver configured to receive the 360-degree media content and metadata associated with the 360-degree content. The metadata may include a classification of a respective spatial region of the 360-degree media content. The device may further include a memory configured to store a user preference and a sensor configured to detect a user movement. The device may include a processor configured to determine that the user movement is associated with a rendering of the respective spatial region. The processor may further determine whether the classification complies with the user preference and alter the rendering of the respective spatial region if the classification violates the user preference.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus generates an image for viewing to be viewed by a viewer based on an image obtained by imaging with an imaging apparatus. The information processing apparatus acquires request information for requesting generation of the image for viewing, and executes generation processing of generating the image for viewing in accordance with the acquired request information. The request information includes setting information indicating setting of the image for viewing. In the generation processing, the image for viewing to which viewer information related to the viewer of which the setting information is within a predetermined range is reflected in the request information of a plurality of the viewers is generated.
METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR REALIZING DYNAMIC SCHEDULING FOR A CINEMA AND CONTROLLING PLAYING OF A MOVIE
The present disclosure relates to a method, apparatus, and system for realizing dynamic scheduling for a cinema and controlling playing of a movie. In particular, embodiments of the present invention relate to dynamic scheduling of content presentation in a cinema by collecting user preferences of a plurality of users, wherein the user preference specifies at least a movie that a user desires to watch, a time for watching the movie, a cinema for watching the movie, and a number of people watching the movie; generating, based on the collected user preferences, a respective dynamic schedule for at least one cinema of a plurality of cinemas according to one of a plurality of scheduling schemes; and transmitting the generated respective dynamic schedule to at least one second electronic apparatus corresponding to the at least one cinema.
Methods and systems for content navigation among programs presenting advertising content
Systems and methods for aiding user content navigation are described. An exemplary system may include an electronic device configured to receive audiovisual content and/or user inputs. The electronic device may additionally include one or more outputs coupled with a display device. The electronic device may further include one or more processors as well as memory, which when executed by the one or more processors, cause them to perform one or more navigation functions to receive a channel change command to adjust from a first channel to a second channel. The one or more processors may further be caused to determine that the second channel is presenting advertising content instead of program content, and determine that a third channel is presenting program content. The one or more processors may further be caused to adjust the output to the third channel.
Method and apparatus for providing video streams
The object of the present disclosure is to provide a method and apparatus for providing video streams. The method for providing video streams according to the present disclosure includes: providing a list of identity information of other users to the user equipment; providing video streams to the user equipment according to the identity information selected by the user equipment. The technology according to the present disclosure may raise the user's interest and attention in video-watching, and thereby improving the user's video-watching experience and satisfaction.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A display apparatus includes a processor configured to execute instructions to: based on an input from a user, select a category from a plurality of categories related to characteristics of a plurality of source devices connectable to an interface of the display apparatus, receive a plurality of pieces of content from at least one source device connected to the interface and corresponding to the selected category, and display a multi-image on a display of the display apparatus, based on at least two pieces of content from the plurality of pieces of content.
DYNAMIC CONTEXT-BASED VIDEO STREAMING OVERLAY GENERATION
Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for customizing and dynamically generating overlay graphical user interfaces (GUIs) within the context of a video streaming environment.
Systems and methods for providing program suggestions in an interactive television program guide
An interactive television program guide application is provided that queries a user regarding the user's interest in television programs and suggests television programs to the user based on the user's responses. The interactive television program guide application identifies a television program that is potentially of interest to the user. The interactive television program guide application then queries the user regarding the user's interest using questions that are formulated based on attributes associated with the identified television program. Using the user's responses to the questions, the interactive television program guide application identifies and suggests one or more television programs to the user.
Network-connected television devices with knowledge-based media content recommendations and unified user interfaces
This application is directed to presenting a unified user interface on a network-connected television device. The unified user interface displays media content recommendations selected and organized based on knowledge of a user (e.g., search queries, search results, watch history, purchase history, physical activities). The unified user interface also includes a focus area for displaying a series of media content items (e.g., an advertisement) sequentially according to a temporal order for the purposes of promoting a media content item, product, event or service. In some implementations, playback of a media content item presented on the unified user interface relies on a collaborative implementation of a corresponding media player application and a media content casting application, particularly when the play involves a restricted mode. The content casting application is enabled to play the media content item at the restrict mode when the media player application does not operate in the restricted mode.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ASSOCIATING INPUT SCHEMES WITH PHYSICAL WORLD OBJECTS
Methods and systems are described herein for a media guidance application that allows users to associate input schemes with physical objects in an augmented reality environment. Specifically, the media guidance application may recognize physical objects in an augmented reality environment and allow users to identify input schemes to associate with the physical objects, wherein the input schemes are ways in which users may control presentation of media content by interacting with the physical objects.
