LIVE BROADCAST ROOM PAGE LOADING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND TERMINAL, SERVER AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are a live broadcast room page loading method and apparatus, a terminal, a server and a storage medium. The live broadcast room page loading method includes: acquiring live broadcast room functional area loading sequence information; detecting a trigger instruction, wherein the trigger instruction is used for indicating display of a live broadcast room page; and loading and displaying a plurality of functional areas in the live broadcast room page according to the live broadcast room functional area loading sequence information.
VIDEO DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, METHOD, COMPUTING DEVICE AND USER EQUIPMENT
A video distribution system, method, and a storage medium, the system including: at least one database storing a plurality of videos; a computing device communicatively connected with the at least one database and configured to: classify the plurality of videos into a plurality of categories based on attributes associated with the plurality of videos; determine a plurality of cover images; send the plurality of cover images to a user equipment, so that the plurality of cover images are at least partially superimposedly displayed on a first video being played; select a first image from the plurality of cover images in response to a first user input; automatically select a second video from a first category corresponding to the first image; acquire the second video from the at least one database; and send at least a part of the second video to the user equipment to play the second video.
Providing interactive elements with a live video presentation
The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for providing a call to action in connection with a live video stream. For example, systems and methods described herein enable a broadcaster to configure one or more benefits and one or more calls to action. Systems and methods described herein further provide the one or more calls to action in connection with a live video stream and based on the broadcaster's configurations. In response to a live video stream viewer correctly interacting with a provided call to action, systems and methods described herein provide a benefit to the viewer.
SYSTEM FOR AUDIENCE SENTIMENT FEEDBACK AND ANALYSIS
The present invention is directed to a system for providing audience sentiment responses to an event and/or an item of media content. The audience sentiment responses are divided into at least four categories, including sentiments liking and disliking the event and/or the media content, and sentiments desiring more or less of the event and/or the media content. The system further provides analytics regarding audience sentiments, such as the times during the event and/or the points in the media content wherein audiences experienced the greatest shifts in one or more of the sentiment types.
Time-delayed publishing
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving an indication that a user of the social-networking system watched at least a portion of a program, determining that the user intended to watch the program, and generating a story in response to the determination. The story is published to the social-networking system a predetermined amount of time after receiving the indication.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING AND SHARING CUSTOMIZED MULTIMEDIA SEGMENTS
Multimedia content segment identified by users may be shared among media devices and media device users. Media content segment metadata is generated based on one or more identified media content item segments identified in one or more media content items. The media content segment metadata may include, but is not limited to, information indicating segment start and stop times, information about the particular media content item (e.g., title, actors, original air date), and other user-provided descriptive information. A link for the media content segment metadata may be posted for display on a webpage and which enables other users to access the media content segment metadata.
CROWDSOURCED PLAYBACK CONTROL OF MEDIA CONTENT
Example embodiments provide systems and methods for crowdsourced skipping of media content portions. In an example method, a plurality of content tags are received from a plurality of media content devices over a communication network. Each of the plurality of content tags may designate a location within a media content item. The content tags are processed to generate aggregated content tags for the media content item. The aggregated content tags may designate one or more portions of the media content item for modified playback. The aggregated content tags for the media content item are transmitted over the communication network to a first media content device separate from the plurality of media content devices.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SIMULATING EXPERIENCE OF ATTENDING A LIVE PROGRAM FOR VIEWERS OF LIVESTREAMING CONTENT
Methods and systems for simulating experience of attending a live program for viewers of a livestreaming content are disclosed. A livestreaming content viewed by a plurality of viewers on respective electronic devices is tracked to detect an event. Viewer interaction data are received from the respective electronic devices associated with the plurality of viewers in response to a detected event in the livestreaming content. The viewer interaction data includes viewer responses of the plurality of viewers in response to the detected event. The viewer interaction data received from the plurality of viewers are aggregated. A cheering audio is synthesized in relation to the detected event based on the aggregated viewer interaction data. An enriched livestreaming content is generated based on the livestreaming content and the cheering audio. Playback of the enriched livestreaming content is facilitated on the respective electronic devices for the plurality of viewers.
