System and method for recommending a content service to a content consumer
A system for assisting a content consumer to select content services, the system including a processor that is configured to execute a matching algorithm. The matching algorithm comprises interviewing the content consumer for questions in a plurality of categories, determining a point system for answers obtained by the interviewing step, wherein the answers indicate entertainment interests of the content consumer calculating a service score for each content service based on the point system, wherein the service score indicates an agreement between a content service and the entertainment interests of the content consumer and selecting a pre-determined number of content services based on the service score.

An example apparatus includes a thermal image detector to determine a heat blob count based on a frame of thermal image data, the frame of thermal image data captured in the media environment, a comparator to compare the heat blob count to a prompted people count, the prompted people count based on one or more responses to a prompting message, and when the heat blob count and the prompted people count match, cause a timer that is to trigger generation of the prompting message to be reset.
Methods and apparatus for monitoring an audience of media based on thermal imaging
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed. Method and apparatus for capturing and broadcasting media
Systems and methods for providing a message to a messaging platform include capturing, by a client device installed as a fixture at a location of a live event, media of a participant of the live event. Input is obtained from the participant by the client device. A message is created based on the input comprising the media and authored by a messaging platform account associated with the live event. The message is provided to a messaging platform for broadcasting to accounts associated with the account associated with the event.

Methods, systems, and media for facilitating interaction between viewers of a stream of content are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving a request to begin presenting a stream of content, wherein the stream of content corresponds to a collection of videos presented sequentially; identifying a counter value associated with a duration of time elapsed since a creator of the stream of content initiated presentation of the stream of content; determining a playback position of the stream of content based on the counter value; causing the stream of content to be presented at the determined playback position; receiving an input to display a chat interface; and causing the chat interface to be presented in connection with the presentation of the stream of content, wherein the chat interface includes messages transmitted from a plurality of user devices that are also presenting the stream of content.

An action may be scheduled to occur at a first time within the presentation of the media asset, where the action may interrupt the presentation of the media asset. When a current presentation position is approaching the first time, an option to delay the action may be generated for presentation. In response to receiving selection of the option to delay the action, the action may be scheduled to occur at a later second time within the presentation of the media asset.

Presented herein is an interactive platform for judging an activity by a participant in an event. The platform includes a client application program downloadable to a mobile device. The program may include a database storing a mobile device identifier (ID), a user ID, user information, and location data of the device. The application may further be configured to display one or more events of the activity as well as an input for receiving a score of the activity from the user. The platform may additionally include a server system connected with the client application programs via a communication network. The server system may be configured for receiving the mobile device ID, the user ID, the user information, and the location data for the client program, and may further be configured to receive the scores from the users, and to adjust the scores according to determined bias of the associated user.

The user may respond to the performance through the interface including a contribution such as an image, a recording, or a text-based message. The system and method further generate a mosaic of user responses to the performance determined based on recency, popularity, or randomly. The mosaic may be displayed on the display behind the performer, who may be performing in front of a green screen.
