An object of the present invention is to provide a video providing system and a program that allow a viewer to actively edit digital content. A video providing system 100 that provides video content to a viewer includes: a component 104, 105, 106 for receiving a guidance trigger prompting the viewer to participate in the video content at a device of the viewer; a component 103, 1602, 1603 for accepting an option content command or option content that is different from mainstream content corresponding to a viewer trigger sent from the device as a response to the guidance trigger through a network; and a component 101, 102, 1605 for reproducing or displaying the option content on a display device specified by the command.

Apparatus, systems, articles of manufacture, and methods for viewer authentication are disclosed. An example system includes processing circuitry to execute computer readable instructions to send one or more instructions to cause the user device to: trigger collection of audio metering data from a sensed audio signal based on a programming schedule that is to identify when the program is to be broadcast; accept voting data from the user for a ballot presented in the program; transmit the audio metering data; and transmit the voting data. The processing circuitry also is to determine a level of exposure of the user to the program based on the audio metering data received from the user device; calculate a weighting score based on the level of exposure; and adjust the voting data based on the weighting score.

The invention discloses improvement of the accuracy of providing interactive media content to the user's computing device while providing a simultaneous feedback from the user's computing device to the server for generating and transmitting over-the-air media content. The system for providing interactive media content uses a static graphic marker. The system includes: a remote server for generating on-air media content and transmitting it to a display device, wherein the generation is performed by combining data of the on-air media content with the data of the static graphic marker; a network for receiving and transmitting data from a remote server to a user's computing device; a user's computing device for scanning the static graphic marker, transmitting the scanned data to the remote server, receiving processed interactive media content data and displaying the interactive media content on the user's display.

There is presented a system for providing a digital multimedia presentation. The system includes a processor and a memory. The system further includes a presentation content database stored in the memory, the presentation content database configured to store a plurality of episodes of a media series each of the plurality of episodes including and a credit portion. The system also includes a media player for execution by the processor and configured to play a selected episode of the plurality of episodes of the media series, and a review and redirection application for execution by the processor and configured to determine a next episode of the selected episode in the media series, where the processor executes the review and redirection pane during or after the credit portion of the selected episode to present a consumer with the next episode of the selected episode in the media series.

Methods, systems and arrangements are also described for enabling transactions to be integrated with live broadcasts, and for enabling viewers to experience the feeling of being part of a group. Methods, systems and arrangements are also described for integrating viewer interactions into live media broadcasts themselves.

A system may perform operations including displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) on a display screen of a web client; displaying a first content prompt on a prompt screen comprised in the GUI, wherein the prompt screen is disposed on the GUI at least one of proximate or adjacent to a camera of the web client; recording a first video clip while displaying the first content prompt; displaying a second content prompt on the prompt screen in response to the recording the first video clip being completed; recording a second video clip while displaying the second content prompt; and/or concatenating the first video clip and the second video clip into a video.

Embodiments are directed towards selecting content search results based on the age of the viewer. The content receiver receives search criteria for a viewer, which may include the age of the viewer. The content receiver obtains search results from a search of a plurality of content. The search results are prioritized based on the age of the viewer and presented to the viewer. In this way, searching for “dog” for a four year-old may provide or prioritize different results compared to search for “dog” for an eight year-old.

Systems and methods are described to selectively provide a buffer time prior to deletion of a media content item. In particular, techniques are presented for transmitting a proposal to delay deletion of a media content item, in response to determining that a number of identified users likely to view the media content item exceeds a predetermined number. Systems and methods are also described to identify a user who is likely to view the media content item, and present to the identified user an offer to extend availability of a media content item. Deletion of the media content item may be delayed by a predetermined time period.

A computer implemented method, device and computer program device are provided that present audio/video (AV) content within a local environment. During presentation of the AV content, electronic viewer behavior (VB) data is collected for a user in the local environment. The VB data includes at least one of passive sound or action information generated by the user. The passive sound or action information relate to a user behavior context indicative of how the user experiences the AV content. A suggested action to be taken by one or more electronic devices is identified based on the VB data. The suggested action is presented on the one or more electronic devices and carried out.
