A method, an apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium for processing live streaming information. The method includes: presenting at least one question of a live streaming and an answering function entry corresponding to the at least one question; each question being obtained by aggregating questions asked by at least two viewers in a live streaming room of a host; presenting, in response to an answering operation for a target question triggered based on the answering function entry, a receiving process of corresponding answer information; and transmitting, in response to an answering completion instruction for the target question, the received answer information of the target question to a viewer end.

A play control method includes obtaining a playing state of at least one of a plurality of terminals playing a same video; and controlling a playing progress of at least one of the plurality of terminals when the playing state meets a preset condition. Using the disclosed play control method and apparatus for a plurality of terminals playing a same video, playing synchronization of the plurality of terminals can be maintained under a premise of ensuring that the plurality of terminals do not miss each video segment, so that no communication barrier is resulted due to asynchronous video playing during interactions between users who watch the same video, thus being able to improve user experience.

Video content is uploaded via the Internet to a video-on-demand (VOD) server identified by a title and a hierarchical address of categories and subcategories for categorizing the title. The VOD server converts and stores the video content at a storage address in a video content database linked to the title. The title is listed in a location of an electronic program guide (EPG) using the same categories and subcategories as in its hierarchical address. Any TV subscriber can access the EPG and navigate through its categories and subcategories to find a title for viewing on the TV. This can enable many new blogging or podcasting-like programs by popular “Hosts” to be self-published on the Internet and readily navigated for display on TV. The EPG can also store TV program addresses as bookmarks and allow them to be shared with other subscribers or with friends and contacts online by sending to their email addresses.

Technology for voting, or endorsing with votes, a set of subjects under review, such as a group of human individual peers or a set of products. Each voter in this system is provided with an amount of voting credits that may be allocated among and between at least some of the subjects under review. In some embodiments a discounting scheme is applied to the voting credit allocations so that multiple credits allocated to a single subject will typically count for fewer net “votes” for the subject as the number of credits allocated to that single subject increases. In some embodiments, the discounting scheme is polynomial voting.

A system may perform operations including displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) for recording a video on a display screen of a user device, wherein the GUI comprises a plurality of features, including a prompt screen; displaying a content prompt on the prompt screen, wherein the prompt screen may be disposed on the GUI proximate to an edge of the GUI; displaying a video playback screen, which is one of the plurality of features, configured to display visual information in real time captured through a camera, wherein the prompt screen may be disposed at least partially within the video playback screen; and/or recording a video clip during the displaying the content prompt, wherein the content prompt comprises at least one of a text or an image configured to solicit at least one of a desired reaction or a desired information from a user during the recording of the video clip.

A video distribution system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a video distribution server and a user terminal, in which the server provides a live video distribution service for distributing and viewing live video to a user via the user terminal. The system is configured such that the distribution screen presented to the distributor of the live video has a comment display area for displaying at least part of the comment group including comments from viewers, and the display mode is based on at least the number of hidden subsequent comments whose order of posting is later than that of the displayed portion of the comment group displayed in that area. Therefore, when the distributor responds to a displayed comment, the distributor can obtain information based on the number of hidden subsequent comments whose order of posting is later than that of this comment.

Methods, systems, and media for providing personalized notifications to video viewers are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving, using a hardware processor, one or more prompts to be presented in association with a video from a user account associated with the video; receiving, from the user account associated with the video, one or more notifications, wherein each of the one or more prompts is associated with one of the one or more notifications; causing the one or more prompts to be presented in association with presentation of the video to a user; receiving an indication that a first prompt of the one or more of the prompts was selected by the user; causing a notification associated with the first prompt to be presented to the user in response to receiving the indication.

A moderator client device may add program information for multi-media content using interactive elements. The moderator client device may associate an interactive component with the multi-media content using the interactive elements on a moderator interface. An interactive program may be generated from the multi-media content, tags and time-codes, and the interactive component. A response to the interactive program may be received from a viewer client device based on an interaction of the user of the viewer client device with the interactive component. The response received from the viewer client device may be displayed simultaneously with the updated interactive program on the display of each of a plurality of viewer client devices.

Presented herein is an interactive platform for judging an activity by a participant in an event. The platform includes a client application program downloadable to a mobile device. The program may include a database storing a mobile device identifier (ID), a user ID, user information, and location data of the device. The application may further be configured to display one or more events of the activity as well as an input for receiving a score of the activity from the user. The platform may additionally include a server system connected with the client application programs via a communication network. The server system may be configured for receiving the mobile device ID, the user ID, the user information, and the location data for the client program, and may further be configured to receive the scores from the users, and to adjust the scores according to determined bias of the associated user.

Provided is a content utilization platform system including an image production device configured to produce and output an image output by applying augmented reality (AR) content to a captured subject; a server configured to extract AR content based on at least one of the number of users, ticket information, viewing information, reservation information, and a subject image, to provide the extracted AR content to the image production device, to receive an image produced by the image production device from the image production device, and to provide a virtual space using the produced image; and a user terminal configured to connect to the virtual space provided from the server.
