User-driven spectator channel for live game play in multi-player games
A multi-user system hosts a game session over a communication network. The game session includes a plurality of media streams that show one or more views of live game play for the game session. The multi-user system further assigns a spectator value to each media stream, updates one or more spectator values based on user inputs received during the game session, selects, for one or more time periods of the game session, one media stream to broadcast based on the spectator value assigned to the one media stream for the one or more time periods, and broadcasts the one media stream over the communication network.
SYSTEM FOR ADDRESSING ON-DEMAND TV PROGRAM CONTENT ON TV SERVICES PLATFORM OF A DIGITAL TV SERVICES PROVIDER
Video content is uploaded via the Internet to a video-on-demand (VOD) server identified by a title and a hierarchical address of categories and subcategories for categorizing the title. The VOD server converts and stores the video content at a storage address in a video content database linked to the title. The title is listed in a location of an electronic program guide (EPG) using the same categories and subcategories as in its hierarchical address. Any TV subscriber can access the EPG and navigate through its categories and subcategories to find a title for viewing on the TV. This can enable many new blogging or podcasting-like programs by popular Hosts to be self-published on the Internet and readily navigated for display on TV. The EPG can also store TV program addresses as bookmarks and allow them to be shared with other subscribers or with friends and contacts online by sending to their email addresses.
LIVESTREAMING METHOD, APPARATUS AND DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A livestreaming method, apparatus and device, a storage medium, and a computer program product. The method includes: displaying a target object introduction page in response to triggering of the first permission control corresponding to a target object, during playing of a live video in a preview stage or after an end of the playing of the live video in the preview stage; displaying a permission operation interface in response to triggering of the second permission control; returning to a live video interface and playing the live video, in response to completing of an operation of at least one operation item of the permission operation interface. The target object introduction page includes the second permission control. A live video stream is blurred or stopped from being pushed after the end of the playing of the live video in the preview stage. The permission operation interface includes at least one operation item.
Video Production System
A system may perform operations including displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) for recording a video on a display screen of a user device, wherein the GUI comprises a plurality of features, including a prompt screen; displaying a content prompt on the prompt screen, wherein the prompt screen may be disposed on the GUI proximate to an edge of the GUI; displaying a video playback screen, which is one of the plurality of features, configured to display visual information in real time captured through a camera, wherein the prompt screen may be disposed at least partially within the video playback screen; and/or recording a video clip during the displaying the content prompt, wherein the content prompt comprises at least one of a text or an image configured to solicit at least one of a desired reaction or a desired information from a user during the recording of the video clip.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS PROVIDING EN MASS COLLECTION AND CENTRALIZED PROCESSING OF PHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSES FROM VIEWERS
An example system includes a first headset including first sensor to gather first user data from a first subject during exposure to media, the first user data including at least one of psychophysiological data or physiological data; and a first processor to generate first data indicative of an emotional response of the first subject based on the first user data. The example system includes a second headset including a second sensor to gather second user data from the second subject during exposure to the media, the second user data including at least one of psychophysiological data or physiological data; a second processor to generate second data indicative of an emotional response of the second subject based on the second user data and synchronize the second data with the first data to generate synchronized response data; and a second transmitter to transmit the synchronized response data to a central processor.
Apparatus and method for confirming content viewing
The present invention relates to a system and method for checking the viewing of content. The system includes: an operating computer including a means for storing at least one piece of combined content, in which first content and at least one piece of second content are combined, and a means for providing a benefit set for the combined content; and a user program including a content viewer means for playing back the combined content, and a signal input means for receiving at least one signal from a viewer when the second content is exposed in the combined content being played back via the content viewer means, and being executed on a user terminal; wherein the operating computer provides the benefit in connection with information of the viewer based on data generated based on the information of the signal transmitted from the user terminal and input to the signal input means.
Systems and methods for providing access to still images derived from a video
Multiple video segments may be obtained from a repository of video segments. A selection of a video segment from the multiple video segments may be received. The selected video segment may be presented at a first resolution via a display. A selection of a point in time during presentation of the video segment may be received to extract a frame set from the video segment at or near the selected point in time. The frame set may include multiple frames, including one frame corresponding to the selected point in time, and other frames that correspond to points in time adjacent to the selected point in time. A selection of a single frame within the frame set may be received. The single frame may be received having a second resolution. The second resolution may be higher than the first resolution. The single frame may be presented via the display.
SELECTING MEDIA FOR A SOCIAL EVENT ACCORDING TO SPECIFIED EVENT PARAMETERS
A content server generates media playlists for social events. The content server receives a seed value describing desired characteristics of media to present during a social event, and event parameters describing conditions for selecting media items to generate a media playlist for the social event. The content server selects media items based on the event parameters and the seed value, and uses the selected media items to generate the media playlist for the social event. The media items in the playlist are retrieved from a media database and provided to a media player for presentation at the social event.
BULLET SCREEN DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS
A bullet screen display method including determining whether first bullet screen information comprises a question identifier when the first bullet screen information is received during playing of a multimedia resource; determining the first bullet screen information as question bullet screen information when the first bullet screen information comprises the question identifier; and displaying the first bullet screen information on a playing interface of the multimedia resource in a display mode corresponding to the question bullet screen information. The techniques of the present disclosure enrich display modes of bullet screen information and improve the effectiveness of interaction via the bullet screen information.
