METHOD FOR PERFORMING SETTING CONTROL FOR A PLURALITY OF DEVICES THROUGH A WEB UI AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING THE SAME
A method including: requesting a web resource from a plurality of devices for setting a web UI for the plurality of devices; receiving the web resource from the plurality of devices; requesting device attribute information related to a device attribute from the plurality of devices; receiving the device attribute information from the plurality of devices; checking whether a web resource corresponding to the received device attribute information is stored in a memory of the server; configuring a common setting web UI for a common device attribute and configuring an individual setting web UI for an individual device attribute based on the web resource; and mashing up the common setting web UI and the individual setting web UI and rendering the mashed common setting web UI and individual setting web UI to a single web page of the server.
Methods to estimate video playback buffer
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method including monitoring a video session to determine key performance indicators for cross-layer interactions between a network providing video session video data and user equipment receiving the video session video data, wherein the key performance indicators include a transmission control protocol congestion window size that corresponds to a video chunk requested by the user equipment, and a radio access network throughput of a download of the video chunk requested by the user equipment, and determining a quality of service for the user equipment during the video session according to a residual length of content in a playback buffer for the user equipment based on the transmission control protocol congestion window size, and the radio access network throughput. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Remotely accessed virtual recording room
An audio/video stream recording, storage, and delivery system 10 utilizes an Internet-based browser connection. The system 10 includes recording software 20, storage memory 30, a code generator 40, and a user interface 50. Preferably, the recording software 20 is located on the host back end 60 where it processes and records audio and video material that originates from the user front end 70 and is streamed to the host back end. The storage memory 30, which is also located on the host back end 60, stores the recorded audio and video material. The user interface 50 to the system provides a user located at the user front end 70 with remote access to a virtual recording room. The user interface 50 further enables the user to record audio and video material streamed from the user front end 70 by activating the recording software 20 located on the host back end 60. This is accomplished without requiring recording functionality on the user front end 70. The code generator 30 produces code associated with the recorded audio and video material. This code can be easily copied and pasted to an additional location 80, such as an auction website. Activating the code pasted at the additional location 80 provides access to the recorded audio and video material from the additional location while allowing the recorded audio and video material to remain stored at the host back end 60.

FRAME AND CHILD FRAME FOR VIDEO AND WEBPAGE RENDERING
Techniques for display using frame and child frame technology for video and webpage rendering are disclosed. A video stream is received. The video stream is displayed as a video in a window on a device display along with a link. The link includes a webpage uniform resource locator (URL). A selection of the link made by a user is received. The selection is made in response to a call to action. The video is rendered along with results of the link that was selected. Rendering of the results of the link includes a webpage associated with the webpage URL. The user can interact with the webpage while the video is being rendered. The video is reduced to render the video as a reduced video on a portion of the device display. The rendering the reduced video and webpage is accomplished without a popup window.
Method and device of displaying video comments, computing device, and readable storage medium
Techniques of displaying comments relative to video frames are described herein. The disclosed techniques include obtaining page data comprising a video file and rendering the page data to play a video comprising a plurality of frames; obtaining a comment file comprising a plurality of comments on the video; displaying the plurality of comments relative to the plurality of frames while playing the video; detecting a computer performance parameter during rendering the page data; and reducing a density of displaying comments in response to determining that the computer performance parameter is less than a predetermined value.
