SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS TO ENHANCE DELIVERY AND PRESENTATION OF CONTENT
Selection of a content presentation can involve obtaining a message representative of a plurality of terms including a first term and a second term, wherein the first term indicates a first capability required for a first content presentation and the second term indicates a second capability required for a second content presentation; and enabling selection of a content presentation from among at least the first and second content presentations available based on a content signal, wherein the selection is based on the message.
ENDORSEMENT SYSTEM AND TECHNIQUES FOR EDUCATIONAL CONTENT
This disclosure includes systems and techniques that verify an educational quality of online videos, employing a platform that enables experts to endorse and/or recommend videos that are more readily accessible to end users. Certain aspects include a computing device for a service provider that receives a query from a user for video content. The computing device forwards the query to a hosting service, and in response to the query, the computing device receives, from the hosting service, a list of video content items it hosts. The computing device identifies, for each video content item within the list of video content items, an endorsement value associated with one or more experts. In some aspects, the computing device generates an aggregated list of video content items from a plurality of lists of video content items based on endorsement values. The computing device provides recommendations to the user using the endorsement values.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AGGREGATING VIEWABLE CONTENT FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES VIA USER-FRIENDLY INTERFACE
System and method allowing users to interface with all available content, including streaming, video on demand, television, etc., in a seamless, streamlined, easily searchable format thereby eliminating the need for users to move from interface to interface. The content is displayed in easy to search genres, such as comedies, sports, actors, etc. The system and method further provide non-media options (e.g., Food and Shopping) for users to access and interface with while simultaneously watching media content from the media content sources.
Interoperable digital social recorder of multi-threaded smart routed media
Blockchain-enabled crypto asset systems and a Digital Social Recorder system are operable within a computer network environment for allowing a user to control how advertisers access the user's personal data; allowing crypto asset compensation in exchange for social amplification; and tracking asset allocation. Payments made via blockchain tracking, and the distribution of any revenues derived from cost savings provided to terrestrial, satellite or digital radio broadcasters back to music rights holders and other related groups are provided. These rights holders typically like to incentivize consumers, and by using the crypto assets or tokens created by the present invention, a reward for listening/consuming may be provided. Further, payments for industry services to the rights holder are contemplated to include, but not be limited to any Performance Rights Organizations (PROs), Record Labels, Publishing Companies/Administrators, Managers, Agents or any fractional rights holders or owners who would hold claim against any such revenues.
Swivel search system
A method and apparatus for performing an integrated search is provided. An interface is provided that allows users to search and select any data related to a searchable term. Searchable terms may comprise titles of content, actors, and tags. Upon receiving results from the initial search, the user progresses through the initial search by selecting a result from the initial search and conducting a further search of that selection. The search may progress through many layers of searching in order to find information useful to the user and the user may perform actions based upon results of the search. The search implements a display with two columns, the first column displaying selectable data, and the second column displaying results to the selected data. The search is further customizable based upon a privacy level selected by the user.
Electronic program guide, method for an electronic program guide, and corresponding device
An electronic program guide, EPG, comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a list of channels and, for each channel in the list, a list of scheduled audiovisual content. The second portion comprises a selection area or section and a first graphical element representing a time line. The selection section may be used to select scheduled audiovisual content according to a selection criterion. Second graphical elements that represent scheduled audio visual content resulting from the selection are then placed on the first graphical element. The relative position of the second graphical elements on the first graphical element is determined by chronological order.
System and method for creating and organizing content
The present invention is directed to a content creation system comprising one or more client devices, one or more servers including a database for storing information related to a plurality of items to be displayed and sold during a show, identification information associated with the plurality of items, a quantity of the plurality of items in stock in a warehouse, a plurality of audio segments, and a plurality of video segments, and a program creation unit for processing the information received from the database and for creating the show for subsequent broadcast, the show having a plurality of plays. The system also includes a network coupled to the one or more client devices and the one or more servers for allowing the one or more client devices to communicate with the one or more servers.
System and method for using multimedia content as search queries
There is provided a method for searching a plurality of information sources using a multimedia element, the method may include receiving at least one multimedia element; generating, by a signature generator, for the at least one multimedia element at least one signature that is unidirectional, and yields compression; generating at least one textual search query using the at least one signature; wherein the generating of the textual search query comprises: (a) searching for at least one matching stored signature that matches one or more of the at least one signature; and (b) using a mapping between stored signatures and textual search queries, selecting at least one textual search query mapped to at least one matching stored signature; searching the plurality of information sources using the at least one textual search query; and causing a display of search results retrieved from the plurality of information sources.
Method for displaying videos, and storage medium and electronic device thereof
A method for playing a video includes: detecting, on a display page of a target video, a first operation on the target video; generating a trigger signal in response to the first operation; acquiring, based on the trigger signal, at least one associated video of the target video; and displaying the at least one associated video.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TEXT SEARCH CAPABILITY OF LIVE OR RECORDED VIDEO CONTENT STREAMED OVER A DISTRIBUTED COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A server receives and rebroadcasts live streaming video content from a video capture device, such as a mobile phone or unmanned surveillance vehicle. The server includes a media server configured to stream selected video content to a client device, a video analysis system configured to analyze the live video content and generate object detection data, a storage system configured to store the generated object detection data and an identifier of the associated live video content, and a search engine configured to receive a text-based search request, search the object detection data stored in the storage system for relevant search results, and generate a list of live and stored video content associated with the relevant search results.
