Methods, systems, and media for presenting notifications indicating recommended content are provided. In some implementations, a method for presenting notifications of recommended content is provided, the method comprising: receiving an indication that a user device has initiated a casting session with at least one display device, wherein the indication includes an identifier of media content presented on the at least one display device during the casting session; storing the indication in a log in association with an identifier of the user device; receiving, from the user device, a request for recommended content to be presented on the at least one display device associated with the user device; in response to receiving the request, identifying a group of media content items based on at least one media content item that has been previously selected by a user account associated with the user device and based on an identifier of the at least one display device; generating a notification that includes an indication of the identified group of media content items and a selectable input that, when selected, causes the identified group of media content items to begin being presented on the at least one display device; and transmitting the notification to the user device, wherein transmitting the notification to the user device causes the notification to be presented on the user device.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GAME LIVE STREAM INTERACTION, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
20220395749 · 2022-12-15 ·

A method and apparatus for game live stream interaction, an electronic device and a storage medium are disclosed. The method includes: displaying a live video resource and an interactive control corresponding to the live video resource, where the interactive control is configured to enable an audience end to select a virtual prop in a game live stream, and a selection range of virtual props at the audience end is identical to a selection range of virtual props at a corresponding live streamer end; determining prop selection information of the audience end in response to a triggering operation of the audience end on the interactive control; sending an interaction request to a live stream server, where the interaction request comprises the prop selection information of the audience end; and displaying interaction response information sent by the live stream server.

Multi-resolution graphics

Provided herein is technology for displaying, reposition, and/or formatting graphics on a display. The technology includes receiving a graphics stream in a first playout format that includes a first display resolution and first display layout. The technology also includes determining a second playout format that includes a second display resolution and a second display layout. The technology further determines an area of importance within the first display layout given the first display layout, second display resolution, and second display layout. A preferred position within the second display layout is determined so that the preferred position is a location in the second display layout that is in a relatively similar location as the area of importance in the first display layout. The first playout format is converted into the second playout format using the area of importance and preferred position. Finally, the graphics stream is displayed in the second playout format.

Systems and methods for graphical data presentation during a sporting event broadcast
11528537 · 2022-12-13 · ·

Systems and methods for graphical data presentation during a sporting event broadcast are disclosed. A server platform is constructed and configured in network communication with at least one input device and at least one display device. The at least one input device transmits input data with time code related to the sporting event to the server platform in real time or near real time. The server platform processes the input data according to a production sequencing of the sporting event, thereby creating processed data. The server platform creates and integrates the processed data with a video presentation of the sporting event based on the production sequencing of the sporting event. The at least one display device displays a customized graphical presentation of the processed data with the video presentation.

Device, method and system for changing content of live broadcast media

A device, method and system for changing content of live broadcast media is provided. The device associated with a given location, and analyzes live broadcast media to determine presence of one or more of a person of interest (POI) and an event of interest (EOI), the live broadcast media being provided at one or more display screens at the given location, the live broadcast media originating external to the given location. The device analyzes one or more images captured by one or more cameras located at the given location to determine whether one or more of the POI and the EOI meets a condition for causing harm to one or more persons indicated in the one or more images. The device, responsive to the POI or the EOI meeting the condition, changes content of the live broadcast media.

Disclosed is systems and methods for controlling a video display of a computing device during malfunction. The systems and methods can include receiving a first video stream and determining that the first video stream includes an error message for display on the video display. Once an error message is detected, a second video stream can be transmitted to the video display. The second video stream can include an alternate message for display on the video display.

Exciting moment pre-cognizant notification for live events
11523161 · 2022-12-06 · ·

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for exciting moment notification for a live event. An exciting moment notification method includes first defining in a table in memory of a computer, an exciting moment occurring during a live event, such as a card game, awards program or a sporting event, and then annotating a multiplicity of images of different instances of the live event with the exciting moment. The method further includes video streaming a live instance of the live event over a computer communications network and matching a frame of the video streamed live instance in the memory of the computer to an annotated one of the multiplicity of images. Finally, the method includes transmitting a message to at least one subscriber of the instance of the live event indicating an occurrence of the exciting moment.

Systems and methods for generating a watch schedule and compressed content to complete a series before expiration

Systems and methods are described herein for generating a watch schedule and compressed series for a user for a series that is expected to become unavailable. Availability data indicating when a content series will become unavailable is received and compared to user progression habits. If the content series will become unavailable before the user will complete it, a watch schedule may be offered to the user. If the user subsequently falls behind on this watch schedule, a compressed version of the content series may be offered to the user.

Generating notifications that provide context for predicted content interruptions

Implementations set forth herein relate to providing notifications regarding events that may interrupt content being rendered at an interface. The notifications can be preemptive and/or can indicate a predicted time and/or source for the events. The event can be, for example, a person attempting to contact a user who is viewing content at a display interface. The person can be associated with a food delivery that has been ordered by the user via a delivery application. An application, such an automated assistant application, can predict when the person is expected to arrive with the food delivery, and generate a notification ahead of the person arriving. In some implementations, the notification can be rendered at a scrubber user interface (UI) at a location corresponding to the time that the food delivery is expected to arrive, thereby putting the user on notice of when the streaming content may be interrupted.
