COMBINED AIR FRYER AND PRESSURE COOKER LID
20230200584 · 2023-06-29 ·

The present invention provides a combination pressure cooker and air fryer lid that may be selectively coupled to a vessel. When the lid and the vessel are coupled, the lid may be adjustable between two positions. In the first position, the lid may be used for pressure cooking. In the second position, the lid may be used for air frying. To transition the lid from the first position to the second position, a handle on the lid may be rotated in a particular direction. Conversely, to transition the lid from the second position to the first position, the handle on the lid may be rotated in an opposite direction. Advantageously, in performing either of the pressure cooking or air fryer cooking functions, the lid need not be replaced.

AIR FRY COOKING METHOD AND APPARATUS
20230200586 · 2023-06-29 ·

A method is disclosed for air-frying food in an microwave appliance having a magnetron, one or more calrod heating elements, and a fan. In one example, the microwave appliance is pre-heated for 4.5 minutes by operating a 1,600 Watt broil calrod heating element at maximum power with a convection fan. After food is inserted, the microwave appliance cooks the food in a post-heat stage according to a 60 second duty cycle, in which the broil calrod heating element is operated for one half the duty cycle, and a 1,500 Watt convection calrod heating element is operated for the other half of the duty cycle. The convection fan is also operated for an entirety of the post-heat stage.

Food cooking appliance comprising: a centrifugal turbine arranged to create an air flow inside a cooking space, a steam extraction window arranged so as to extract, toward the exterior of the appliance, steam present inside the cooking space, wherein the extraction window has, at every point on its passageway surface, a normal direction with at least one non-zero component along a tangential direction to a circle centered on the centrifugal turbine and passing to the center of the extraction window.

APPARATUS FOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF BARBECUE OVEN
20170360255 · 2017-12-21 ·

An apparatus for temperature control of a barbecue oven, in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. A vent from a firebox feeds heated air with smoke to a cook box. A variable speed motor connected to a blower wheel draws air out of the cook box into a plenum, and also pressurizes the plenum to force air back onto the cook box through one or more vents between the plenum and the cook box, as well as out of the stack. A variable frequency drive is coupled to the variable speed motor and a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller, which is coupled to a temperature sensor. When the temperature falls below a set point, the PID controller causes the variable frequency drive to actuate the variable speed motor and draw heated air into the cook box from the firebox. The blower wheel and vents circulate the heated air in the cook box, and the air exhaust through the stack allows heated air to be drawn into the cook box.

AIR FRYER

The present disclosure provides an air fryer, including a housing, a compartment and a handle. An inserting part of the handle is inserted through a lateral opening of a mounting socket of the compartment, such that the second fixing part is aligned with the first fixing part and fixedly connected with each other through a guide mating of the second guide part and the first guide part to form an internal fixation. It is convenient for consumers to assemble by themselves, and it is firm and non-detachable after assembly, such that not only the volume of the factory packaging can be reduced, but also the safety of use can be ensured.

Cooking device and components thereof

A cooking system includes a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive food. The housing has an upper portion defining an opening to said hollow chamber. A lid is movable relative to the housing between an open position and a closed position. The lid seals the opening to the hollow chamber when in the closed position. A portion of the lid is selectively positionable to form a pressure-tight heating volume between the hollow chamber and the portion of said lid. At least one heating element is associated with at least one of the housing and the lid. The at least one heating element is arranged within the pressure-tight heating volume.

Methods and systems for heat treating a food product

Methods for heat treating food products include controlling a temperature of a heating element to a maximum temperature correlated to a desired temperature for the food product. A sensed temperature of the heating element may be used to control the maximum temperature. An oven includes a heating element and a temperature sensor configured to sense the temperature of the heating element, and a controller that limits the temperature of the heating element based on output from the temperature sensor.

Cooking device and components thereof

A cooking system includes a housing having at least one internal compartment and a cooking container receivable within said at least one internal compartment. A cooking volume is defined within an interior of said cooking container. A bottom surface of said cooking container is angled upwardly. A heating element is associated with said at least one internal compartment.
