Method and device for managing processing of media content, and computer-readable recording medium

A media content processing management method according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes: obtaining, from a network based media processing (NBMP) source, workflow information for media content processing; identifying whether to use a feedback task, based on the workflow information, obtaining, from a function repository, function information about a function of the feedback task or about a function of at least one media task for the media content processing, based on the workflow information, obtaining task information based on at least one of the workflow information and the function information, delivering the task information to each of tasks, obtaining client feedback information, and updating the task information based on the client feedback information, wherein the task information includes at least one of input information, output information, configuration information, or connection information of each of the tasks, and the connection information includes connection information of a media processing task and the feedback task, the media processing task using client assistance information from among the at least one media task.

HCPE-based intelligent path selection over a multipath network

The present disclosure generally discloses a path selection capability configured to support intelligent path selection within the context of a hybrid-access communication network including a hybrid-access gateway (HAG) and a hybrid-access customer premises equipment (HCPE) in communication based on a multipath communication capability. The path selection capability is configured to support HCPE-based intelligent path selection for downlink traffic being provided from the HAG to the HCPE for delivery to CPEs supported by the HCPE. The path selection capability is configured to support HCPE-based intelligent path selection based on flow identification information signaled from the HAG to the HCPE based on determination of the flow identification information of the downlink traffic by the HAG. The HCPE-based intelligent path selection enables the HCPE to control the path(s) (e.g., multipath subflow(s) of a multipath connection) over which the downlink traffic is sent from the HAG to the HCPE.

DATA PACKET TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS

A data packet transmission method—that includes: obtaining, by a terminal, N application programs that are running; and if the N application programs include an application program including a low-latency service; determining whether an unlicensed frequency band is in a congestion state; and instructing a network device to schedule a data packet of the terminal to a licensed frequency band for transmission when the unlicensed frequency band is in a congestion state. When determining that the N running application programs include the application program including the low-latency service, the terminal may instruct the network device to schedule the data packet of the terminal to the licensed frequency band for transmission, so as to transmit a data packet of the low-latency service by using the licensed frequency band. Resources in the licensed frequency band are centrally scheduled by the network device, instead of being used through contention.
