VIDEO CLIPPING METHOD AND MODEL TRAINING METHOD
Provided are a video clipping and model training method, relating to the field of video technologies, and in particular, to the field of short video technologies. The video clipping method includes: acquiring interaction behavior data for an original video file; determining interaction heat at respective time points of the original video file, according to the interaction behavior data; selecting N time points with highest interaction heat, to take the selected time points as interest points of the original video file, where N is a positive integer; and clipping the original video file based on the respective interest points, to obtain N clipped video files. Therefore, high-quality short video files can be generated.
Content viewing tracking
This application describes methods, systems, and apparatus for allowing a user to easily determine whether the user and/or other user(s) have viewed content. For example, a program guide may display one or more graphics associated with the content (e.g., a movie poster), and in response to determining whether the user has viewed the content, the program guide may include an indication of whether the user has viewed the content. The program guide may include indications associated with multiple users (e.g., different colors, icons, graphics, or text). The program guide may filter the content based on whether the user has viewed the content (e.g., only display content the user has not viewed). A computing device storing the content may manage recording of the content based on whether the user has viewed the content (e.g., delete the recording if the user has viewed the content). A viewing history of the user may be maintained.
Low latency wireless virtual reality systems and methods
Virtual Reality (VR) processing devices and methods are provided for transmitting user feedback information comprising at least one of user position information and user orientation information, receiving encoded audio-video (A/V) data, which is generated based on the transmitted user feedback information, separating the A/V data into video data and audio data corresponding to a portion of a next frame of a sequence of frames of the video data to be displayed, decoding the portion of a next frame of the video data and the corresponding audio data, providing the audio data for aural presentation and controlling the portion of the next frame of the video data to be displayed in synchronization with the corresponding audio data.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR DYNAMIC MEDIA INSERTION BASED ON STREAMING METER DATA
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to perform dynamic media insertion based on streaming meter data. An example apparatus includes meter data management circuitry to obtain, via a network, streaming meter data from a plurality of streaming meter devices, the streaming meter data including streaming sessions detected by the plurality of streaming meter devices, meter data processor circuitry to identify active streaming sessions based on the streaming meter data, trend analyzer circuitry to generate a viewing trend indicator based on the active streaming sessions, and trend reporter circuitry to transmit the viewing trend indicator via a network.
Systems/methods for identifying products for purchase within audio-visual content utilizing QR or other machine-readable visual codes
An automated system/method for identifying and enabling viewer selection/purchase of products or services associated with digital content presented on a display device. Products within the digital content are identified and existing product placement data is ascertained. For products that do not include such data, other methodologies, with the assistance of third-party servers, are employed to assess identity and purchase availability. Viewer input designate products to assess or products can be automatically assessed. Viewers initiate purchase of identified products via the display device or other electronic devices controlled by viewers, such as via viewers' smart phones. Various processes for identifying products include use of AI processing, access to data on third-party servers, crowd sourcing and other methodologies. Various techniques for selecting products for purchases are employed including employing 3D codes (e.g., QR codes) alongside presented products to enable other portable electronic devices to facilitate purchase. Other features are described.
Apparatus and method for allocating media content slots across disparate media supply channel systems
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving first data from each media publishing system of a plurality of media publishing systems which facilitate a presentation of media content with one or more procurable media content slots, where the first data from each media publishing system have incompatible data structures; mapping the first data from each media publishing system to second data which has a common data structure; receiving a target description from a media procurement system, the target description including information to procure media content slots provided by one or more of the plurality of media publishing systems; comparing the target description to the second data in the common data format; identifying from the comparing at least one procurable media content slot provided by one or more media publishing systems that correlates to the target description; receiving first viewership data associated with viewership of media content presentations that include the at least one procurable media content slot; generating according to the first viewership data an estimated viewership size associated with the viewership of media content presentations that include the at least one procurable media content slot; and providing, by the processing system, the estimated viewership size to the media procurement system. Other embodiments are disclosed.
BIDIRECTIONAL PRESENTATION DATASTREAM USING CONTROL AND DATA PLANE CHANNELS
Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for media processing. In some examples, an apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry can exchange, with a server device, a plurality of control messages over a control plane channel that uses a first transport protocol. The plurality of control messages belongs to a control plane of a bidirectional protocol for immersive media distribution. The processing circuitry receives, from the server device, a first plurality of data messages over a first data plane channel that uses a second transport protocol. The first plurality of data messages belongs to a data plane of the bidirectional protocol and carries immersive media content. The processing circuitry presents the immersive media content carried by the first plurality of data messages.
MEDIAHUB FOR CONTROLLING AND MONITORING THE DISTRIBUTION OF TARGETED ASSETS
The present invention relates generally to the provision of targeted advertisements in media. Systems and methods are described which facilitate addressable and non-addressable distribution of assets across a plurality of distribution networks and platforms. In this regard, an advertiser may be able to place a single order for advertising through a media distribution platform that allocates and distributes the asset via multiple channels such as internet streaming, websites (e.g., banners, pop-ups, overlays, etc.), cable, satellite, etc.
Methods and apparatus to monitor media presentations
Methods and apparatus to monitor media presentations are disclosed. Example methods disclosed herein include presenting information via a display of a media device, the information indicating that monitor software in the media device can be enabled, the monitor software to monitor media presented by the media device, the monitor software to be disabled by default. Disclosed example methods also include detecting a first user input that is to authorize the monitor software in the media device to be enabled, and in response to detection of the first user input: (i) enabling the monitor software in the media device to generate and report at least one of video fingerprints, audio fingerprints, video watermarks or audio watermarks representative of media presented by the media device, and (ii) transmitting, via a network interface, a notification to a remote monitoring entity to indicate that the monitor software in the media device has been enabled.
Content-modification system with probability-based selection feature
In one aspect, a method includes identifying an upcoming content modification opportunity on a channel. The method also includes responsive to identifying the upcoming content modification opportunity on the channel, identifying a group of multiple content-presentation devices tuned to the channel. The method also includes for each content-presentation device in the identified group, determining a respective probability of that content-presentation device successfully performing a respective content-modification operation in connection with the identified upcoming content modification opportunity on the channel. The method also includes using at least the determined probabilities as a basis to select, from among the content-presentation devices in the identified group, a subgroup of content-presentation devices. The method also includes performing actions that facilitate causing each of at least some of the content-presentation devices in the selected subgroup to perform a respective content-modification operation in connection with the identified upcoming content modification opportunity on the channel.
