The apparatus is a porous barbeque grill grate. The apparatus incorporates slats that have two sides which hold together porous ceramic plates. The plates can be segmented in some embodiments. The slats are then configured next to one another in some angled differential. The configured slats are then incorporated onto a front and back plates to secure the apparatus unto a gas grill at some distance away from the grill's burner. The segmented porous barbeque grill grate provides for a steady thermal environment, distributing heat evenly, providing a steady flow of oxygen and allowing fuel to uniformly burn and allow flavor and aroma to rise up and be infused with the food that is being grilled or cooked.

According to the present invention, there is provided a tunnel-shaped continuous barbecue apparatus including: more specifically, a main body having an opening portion at a center thereof; a conveyance unit that rotates and moves a barbecue unit, in which meat is put, with external power from one side to the other side of the main body and is formed at both ends of the opening portion of the main body in a length direction of the main body; heating units that are formed at regular intervals at a lower part on one side of the main body and heat the meat in the barbecue unit over direct fire through the opening portion of the main body; smoking units that are formed at regular intervals at the lower part on the other side of the main body and smoke and heat the meat by supplying smoke into the barbecue unit through the opening portion of the main body, the smoke being produced by burning a smoke material; and an exhaust unit that is provided above the main body and discharges smoke outside.

GAS APPLIANCE WITH SELECTIVELY MOVEABLE BURNER UNIT
20220386810 · 2022-12-08 ·

Disclosed herein are gas appliance with rotatable burners, where the gas burner thereof is movable between a plurality of positions such as use, dump, and down. Use position is that of the gas appliance being capable of being used for its intended purpose (e.g., gas burner in its operating position), and in the case of a brazier, the gas burner is facing up. Dump (i.e., a non-use) position refers to a gas burner position which dumps solid fuel by gravity. Down (i.e., a non-use) position refers to a gas burner position (e.g., for a top fired (e.g., radiant) gas burner) where the gas burner is facing upside down. A transducer monitors rotary shaft angular position to enable gas flow only when the gas burner is in the use position. For embodiment configured with partially aerated gas burner and a solid fuel crib, upon dumping of solid fuel, the solid fuel falls into an ash pan to enable its reuse or safe disposal.
