A heat tent for a gar grill apparatus located between the burner and the food to shield the burners of a gar grill to protect the burners from grease drippings and food deposits, to allow additional heat to reach the food for searing and other application, to glow and provide radiant heat to optimally and evenly cook of the food while allowing the flames to be more visible so as to know that the burner is turned on even food is placed all over the tent.

Gas appliance ignition module

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an ignition control module for a gas appliance. The housing of the ignition control module, and/or the mounting points for mounting the module to a gas appliance, can be configured to dispose the battery in a manner that provides for potential battery leakage to flow away from most operable components of the module. Further, the ignitor connection terminals can be configured to provide for ease of connection, by providing a connector guide disposed in a cylindrically shaped terminal housing. Additionally, an ignitor actuator terminal can be configured to selectable engage with an ignitor actuator connector, where the ignitor actuator terminal comprises at least two connector points that engage with a single ignitor actuator connector.

Griddle

A griddle having a grease management system and independent cooking zones is disclosed. The griddle may have a cooking surface back wall with an opening provided therein for grease removal. A grease drip flange may extend away from the cooking surface at a downward angle at or near the back wall opening. A removable grease receptacle having a pivotable handle, as well as a squeegee element, may be provided below the grease drip flange. The independent cooking zones may be provided by burner assemblies having front and rear burners that provide different levels of heat using a single dual gas control valve.

MODULAR OUTDOOR GRILL

Modular outdoor grills may include a grill housing and grill lid collectively enclosing one or more burners. In some examples, work surfaces or shelves coupled to the grill housing may be removable and/or pivotable. In some examples, the grill may be powered by both a battery and propane fuel. In some examples, the grill is controllable using a mobile digital device.

Burner tube for gas grill

The present inventions provide, among other things, tapered burner tubes having raised gas ports and a smooth interior surface free from obstructions. Venturi members and air shutters may also be included.

Barbeque gas burner assembly

The invention relates to a barbeque gas burner assembly (1) comprising inner (2) and an outer (3) gas burners and inner (3) and outer (5) heat directing shields, wherein the inner burner (2) is located within a boundary defined by the outer burner (3) and in a spaced-apart relationship thereto; the outer heat-directing shield (5) comprises a collar (21) with an outwardly extending rim (23) at one end thereof that is angled away from the collar (21), with the collar (21) and rim (23) complimentary shaped and sized to the outer burner (3) for the rim (23) to be supportable by the outer burner (3); the inner heat-directing shield (4) comprises a collar (24) that is complimentary shaped and sized to the inner burner (2) to be supportable thereby, and the collar (24) includes an outwardly extending rim (26) at one end thereof that is angled away from the collar (24); operatively for the rim (23) of the outer heat-directing shield (5) to be supported by the outer burner (3) with the collar (21) extending upwards from the outer burner (3), the inner heat-directing shield (4) to be located within the collar (21) of the outer heat-directing shield (5) with the collar (24) of the inner heat-directing shield (4) supported by the inner burner (2) to define an annular heat directing channel between the inner (4) and outer (5) heat-directing shields and to at least party shield each of the inner (2) and outer burners (3) against falling food debris.

Cooking grill using pellet fuel

A cooking grill includes a container defining a combustion area and a cooking surface over the combustion area. The grill features a pellet burner unit disposed within the container under the cooking surface and a pellet feeding device arranged to feed pellets into the burner unit. The burner unit comprises a trough into which the pellets are fed. The trough is mounted in a movable support which can be pulled out from within the container. The feeding device includes a removable cartridge for containing pellets and a receptacle for receiving the cartridge inserted thereon so that the cartridge supplies pellets for transfer to the pellet burner unit. In addition, a gas burner system is arranged in the container adjacent to the pellet burner unit so as to apply heat from the gas burner system to the cooking surface in addition to or as an alternative to the pellet burner unit.

An outdoor charcoal grill may include a temperature sensor and a temperature adjustment device that is adjustable to control the heat applied to the food placed on a grate. A microprocessor may be programmable to set a food heating characteristic. The microprocessor may receive the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor and automatically adjust the temperature adjustment device to control the heat applied to the food.

Barbecue Grill and Smoker

A charcoal-fueled barbecue grill and smoker includes a duct system with “volcanoes” on the inside of the lower grill chamber that match holes in a tube fitted to the lower grill chamber, such that a turning of the tube provides precise venting and temperature control during cooking. A rear stabilizer attached to the lower grill chamber allows the grill to be used either with or without a stand, preventing the grill from toppling over when the lid is opened. The grill may include one or more removable shelves. An ash evacuation system includes a frusto-conical ash bucket that attaches at a hole in the lower grill chamber and held in place by the rear stabilizer using an ash bucket hanger.
