INFORMATION INTERACTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present application provides an information interaction method and apparatus, and a storage medium. In the method, a server receives an interactive video uploaded by a first user terminal, and sends the interactive video to a second user terminal. That is, in the embodiments of the present application, the video is taken as a carrier of interaction between strangers, which can bear diversified user information expressions. Moreover, the server further receives processing information for the interactive video sent by the second user terminal and/or the first user terminal, and processes the interactive video according to the processing information. That is, based on the video, friendly video interaction between strangers is realized, and social experiences of strangers in social activities are improved.
UHD HLS STREAMING TRUSTED CLIENT SERVER ENVIRONMENT
A video player for playing a video stream that receives a master playlist identifying at least one variant playlist identifying a video file encoded as a series of video frames that when decoded provide the video stream. The video player based upon a configuration tag in the master play list selectively determining whether the video file is to be processed in a trusted execution environment. The trusted execution environment of the video player selectively includes at least one of (i) hack one, only hack one; (ii) output and link protection; (iii) hardware root of trust; and (iv) forensic watermarking, and decrypts and/or decodes the video stream in such an environment.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING THE DISPLAY OF CONTENT USING EMBEDDED WATERMARKS
Systems and method are provided for detecting the display of media and/or specialized content using embedded watermarks. For example, a media device may receive video data including a set of video frames. The media device may detect, in at least one video frame of the set of video frames, a watermark embedded into the at least one video frame. The watermark may be usable to identify media to be displayed by the media device. The media device may display the media. The media device may then transmit an indication that the media has been presented by the media device to a destination device.

Use of steganographically-encoded time information as basis to control implementation of dynamic content modification
A method and system for controlling implementation of dynamic content modification. The disclosure provides for using at least one steganographically-encoded timestamp in a media stream transmitted to a media client as a basis to determine a transmission delay for media-stream transmission to the media client, and for providing the determined transmission delay as a basis to facilitate control over whether to have the media client implement dynamic content modification. In addition, the disclosure provides for receiving respectively from each of various media clients a report indicating transmission delay determined for the media client based on such steganographically-encoded timestamp data, and using the transmission delays for the media clients to establish a dynamic-content-modification footprint that could be used to control whether, where, and to what extent dynamic content modification will be applied.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT OF SECONDARY CONTENT VIEWING
Methods and apparatus for selectively enforcing required insertion or viewing of secondary content, such as advertisements or promotions, in a content distribution network. In one embodiment, the network is a managed network (e.g., cable television, satellite, or the like), and the method includes identifying secondary content with a particular attribute or property (e.g., an advertisement that a user has watched before), and selectively enabling one or more “trick mode” functions relating to that secondary content. In one implementation, audio codes or watermarks are inserted into the secondary content and detected when the content is accessed or rendered; if the detected content matches a database or listing of previously played content for that user or premises, the trick mode functionality (e.g., FF or “skip”) is enabled, thereby allowing the user to bypass the content.

Methods and apparatus for supplementing partially readable and/or inaccurate codes in media
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for supplementing partially readable and/or inaccurate codes. An example apparatus includes a watermark analyzer to select a first watermark and a second watermark decoded from media; a comparator to compare a first decoded timestamp of the first watermark to a second decoded timestamp of the second watermark; and a timestamp adjuster to adjust the second decoded timestamp based on the first decoded timestamp of the second watermark when at least a threshold number of symbols of the second decoded timestamp match corresponding symbols of the first decoded timestamp.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME TRANSCODING OF MPEG-DASH ON-DEMAND MEDIA SEGMENTS WHILE IN TRANSIT FROM CONTENT HOST TO DASH CLIENT
A system, method and computer program product for real-time post-processing system that transforms MPEG-DASH on-demand media streams, including a DASH media player device; an intercepting media server device; a MPEG-DASH content origin server device; and a proxy media client device coupled to the DASH media player device and the intercepting media server device and configured to intercept MPEG-DASH HTTP requests from the DASH media player device and forward the intercepted requests to the intercepting media server device instead of the MPEG-DASH content origin server device. The intercepting media server device is configured to act as an HTTP proxy device, and forward the intercepted requests to the MPEG-DASH content origin server, and with each corresponding MPEG-DASH media subsegment acquired perform analysis of the video media content within the subsegment and apply selective transcoding.
