Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program
[Object] To support transfer of an application to an external device in an apparatus that performs a control of the application using an AIT. [Solving Means] An application destination descriptor (Application_destination_discriptor) for specifying a corresponding device of an application is newly provided as an application descriptor of an AIT. An information processing apparatus determines based on this application destination descriptor whether or not the application is an application for its own device or an application for an external device. If the application is the application for the external device, the information processing apparatus transfers the application to the external device to start it.
SAME-SCREEN INTERACTION CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are a same-screen interaction control method, an electronic device and a storage medium. The same-screen interaction control method includes: determining a same-screen interaction receiver who responds to an initiation request; calling a virtual scene template corresponding to the initiation request, and establishing a target virtual scene corresponding to the virtual scene template; acquiring a first key image, and a second key image corresponding to the same-screen interaction receiver; performing splicing processing on the first key image and the second key image by means of the target virtual scene, so as to obtain a same-screen interaction scene, and generating a same-screen live broadcast video stream corresponding to the same-screen interaction scene; and sending the same-screen live broadcast video stream to a server, so as to synchronize the same-screen live broadcast video stream to a live broadcast client by means of the server.
Distinguishing HEVC Pictures for Trick Mode Operations
Assistance information related to a tier framework may describe signaling for extractable and decodable sub-sequences based on pictures interdependencies. This may allow a video application to efficiently select pictures when performing a given trick mode.
Effective intra-frame refresh in multimedia communications over packet networks
Systems and methods of performing intra-frame refresh in multimedia communications over lossy packet networks, in which a video receiver can provide packet loss feedback information to a video transmitter, and the video transmitter can respond to the feedback information, in a manner that makes efficient use of available bandwidth. By providing one or more PLI messages from the video receiver to the video transmitter based on criteria related to the detection of an eventual missing video packet and/or the determination that the quality of a current reference frame is bad, and by pausing the providing of GNACK messages from the video receiver to the video transmitter while the PLI messages are being provided to the video transmitter, the total number of video packets required for transmission/retransmission can be reduced, thereby limiting the impact of the transmitted/retransmitted video packets on the available bandwidth while enhancing the video QoE of system users.
Video frame bookmarking user interface component
A method, system, computer program product, and computer readable storage medium provide the ability to bookmark a frame of media content. A media content user interface component that controls playback of the media content in a media player is activated. The component includes a circular progress bar. A frame within the media content is identified and bookmarked. A bookmark is displayed on the circular progress bar and reflects the location of the bookmarked frame. The bookmark is selected to begin play from the bookmarked frame.
Video bitstream processing for enabling tune-in
Chunks (12, 14) of encoded video data of a streamed video bitstream (1) are stored and encoded video data is decoded to form decoded video data to be output for display. A selected portion (12) of the stored chunks (12, 14) or selected sub-chunks (25, 27) of the stored chunks (20, 22) for a previous, already played out part (3) of the streamed video bitstream (1) is or are discarded while keeping selected stored chunks (14) or selected sub-chunks (21, 23) stored as navigation tune-in points. The usage of selected stored chunks (14) or sub-chunks (21, 23) that are not discarded from the already played out part (3) of the streamed video bitstream (1) enables a low delay solution during video navigation when a user wants to jump to a previously played out position (5) within the streamed video bitstream (1).
Methods and systems for implementing a locked mode for viewing media assets
Methods and systems that provide an interactive media guidance application having a locked mode for viewing media assets. In the locked mode, the interactive media guidance application may provide media assets suited to a certain audience. The interactive media guidance application may determine suitable media assets for the locked mode based on media assets viewed by other users having characteristics similar to the user of the interactive media guidance application. In the locked mode, the interactive media guidance application may allow access to only certain media assets and/or limit the time period for which the media assets are presented.
ADVERTISING IMPRESSION DETERMINATION
Systems and methods for verifying an advertisement impression in a digital environment are provided. In some aspects, methods of the subject technology include operations for defining a portion of the digital environment as an impression area, wherein the impression area is associated with a tagged advertisement area, providing a stream of an advertisement to the tagged advertisement area, and updating advertising impression information stored in memory regarding the advertisement, wherein an advertising impression is based on the identification of the character within the impression area and the availability of an unobstructed line-of-sight between the character and the tagged advertisement area. In some aspects, computer readable media are also provided.
