Interactive System Using Speech Recognition and Digital Media
A system for interactive system using speech recognition and digital media is described. The system uses automated speech recognition and recognizes interactions from users to execute digital media items. The interactions are based on behavior of the user. The user is given a prompt. If the student responds to a prompt correctly, the student is rewarded with an animation. Otherwise the user experience continues without a reward. The system recognizes natural language responses for interactions of the user. The media item is dynamically generated as the user interacts with the digital media item.
Interactive video dynamic adaptation and user profiling
The presentation of an interactive video is dynamically modified based on a user profile. A first interactive video can be represented by a first video tree defining multiple branches in the first interactive video, with each branch having one or more video segments. Information is tracked including (i) the content of video segments played during presentation of the first interactive video and/or (ii) decisions of a user made during the presentation of the first interactive video. A user profile having measured attributes is generated based on the tracked information. The profile can then be used in dynamically modifying the presentation of a second interactive video.
SPECIALIZED COMPUTER PUBLISHING SYSTEMS FOR DYNAMIC NONLINEAR STORYTELLING CREATION BY VIEWERS OF DIGITAL CONTENT AND COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED PUBLISHING METHODS OF UTILIZING THEREOF
In some embodiments, the instant invention provides for a computer system, including: a specifically programmed publishing server; a non-transitory database; a network publishing portal for connecting digital content creators and digital content viewers to the publishing server over a computer network; where the server, the database and the portal are programmed with specialized publishing software for: receiving digital content from each digital content creator; displaying a specifically programmed hotspot template; where the hotspot template permits to define a plurality of hotspots in the digital content; where each hotspot is an interactive visual programmed clue which allows the viewer to dynamically proceed to experience another portion of the digital content; and where, by sequentially experiencing a first portion of the digital content and another portion of the digital content, the viewer experiences a viewer personalized storyline digital experience which differs from a storyline digital experience pre-defined by the digital content creator.

System and method for selecting scenes for browsing histories in augmented reality interfaces
Information may be provided for review by an augmented reality (AR) user. A system may store a plurality of scenes viewed by the AR user, and for each scene information identifying (i) any pairs of real-life objects and AR augmentations presented in the scene and (ii) any pairs in the scene with which the user interacted. The system may also select from the stored plurality of scenes a first subset of scenes such that each pair with which the user interacted is presented in at least one scene in the first subset of scenes. Responsive to an instruction from the user to review historical AR information, the system may present to the user the selected first subset of scenes. The first subset may be selected such that each pair with which the user interacted is presented in at least one scene in which the user interacted with that pair.
GRAPHING TOOL
A graphing tool comprising a computer system having a processor, a display device and user input means, and further including a rendering engine for displaying a plurality of graphical elements, ports on the elements and links forming interconnections between the ports, on the display device, and an element database stored as a data model having an element model for each element and which for each element stores an element object having an element ID, and at least one child variant object having a respective variant ID, whereby each element model is used by the rendering engine to determine a subset of characteristics of each respective element to render on the display device, based on which variant ID is currently active for the element.
Methods And Systems For Providing Content
Methods and systems for providing content are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving and/or storing first content comprising a first break point, receiving and/or storing second content comprising a second break point, providing the first content, and providing the second content at the second break point in place of the first content at the first break point. In an aspect, the first and second content can be first and second episode of a television show. The first content and the second content can comprise portions that may be commercials, alternate scenes, previews. The portions in the second content can be received at a later time. For example, the portions in the second content can be a newer version or updated version of the respective portions in the first content. The portions in the second content can be played when the first content is provided.

Systems and methods for media packaging
The invention relates to a method for packaging media and data for transmission over a broadband communications network link for display at a terminal destination. Features of the method included creating desired media segments for transmission to the terminal destination and for creating targeting information, for example in whole or in part in the form of metadata, for transmission to the terminal destination. Other features include packaging the created media segments and the created targeting information in a single package and unpacking the single package for display of the targeted media at the terminal destination. In another aspect, the invention can provide a method for unpacking media and data for display at a terminal destination implementing, at the terminal destination, receiving a single package containing media segments and instructions regarding handling of the media segments, quickly unpacking the media segments and the instructions from the single package and, based on the unpacked instructions, assembling one or more of the media segments for display at the terminal destination.
