Method and apparatus for providing power saving media content
Method (1000) of providing power saving information for media content is described including receiving (1010) media content comprising a plurality of media segments, determining (1020) a power consumption indicator for a media segment of the plurality of media segments, determining (1030) power saving information for the media segment based on the power consumption indicator for the media segment and providing (1040) the power saving information. Method (1100) of receiving power saving information for media content is described including receiving (1110) power saving information for a media segment in a media content, applying (1120) said power saving information to the media segment to generate a power adjusted media content and providing (1130) the power adjusted media content. Equivalent apparatuses for providing (110, 200) and for receiving (120, 200, 250) power saving information for media content are also provided.
Content boundary based recordings
Systems and methods for managing the storage of content are described. A video stream may include a content identifier and content information relating to a boundary that may be used to facilitate recording of at least a portion of the video stream.
Using GLTF2 extensions to support video and audio data
An example device for accessing media data includes a memory configured to store media data; and one or more processors implemented in circuitry and configured to: receive a scene description of a GL Transmission Format 2.0 (glTF2) bitstream including a timed media object; determine a position of the timed media object in a presentation environment using the scene description; retrieve current timed media data for the timed media object for a current presentation time; and present the current timed media data according to the position of the timed media object at the current presentation time.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEDIA SCENE DESCRIPTION
Systems, methods, and devices for managing media storage and delivery, including obtaining information about a three-dimensional (3D) scene; obtaining, from the information, a parameter indicating that viewport adaptation is enabled; rendering the 3D scene, wherein the 3D scene includes at least one two-dimensional (2D) video to be reproduced within the 3D scene; obtaining a current viewport of a user; determining whether the at least one 2D video is inside of a range of the current viewport; and adjusting a bitrate of the at least one 2D video based on a result of the determining.
Causing display of user-selectable content types
A user interface allows for blending of television program choices from which a viewer may select, the blending representing options for linear and non-linear programming presented together within a single hierarchy of a designated category. The blending may further include managed content relevant to the designated category, where desired. Such designated categories may include television programming categories and/or content categories. The options for linear and non-linear programming may be presented together within a single screen of the user interface.

Video buffering for interactive videos using a markup language
A device configured to receive a video request that includes source scene information for generating the plurality of video scenes for a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) video. For each video scene, the device is configured to identify a video scene from the source scene information and to assign a video scene entry in a video timing map to the identified video scene. The device is further configured to identify animation instructions for animations associated with the identified video scene from the source scene information and to populate the video scene entry in the video timing map based on the animation instructions for the animations that are associated with the identified video scene. The device is further configured to output the video timing map.
Using manifest files to determine events in content items
Systems, methods, apparatuses are described for monitoring events in a plurality of different services. A system may monitor manifest files for one or more content items. Manifest files may contain manifest file tags indicating events and insertion opportunities. Events and/or insertion opportunities may be detected, and a switch from one content item to another content item, based on customized user priority preferences, may be caused.
PROFILE, TIER, LEVEL AND GENERAL CONSTRAINTS INDICATION IN CODED VIDEO
Systems, methods and apparatus for encoding or decoding a file format that stores one or more images are described. One example method includes performing a conversion between a visual media file and a bitstream of a visual media data according to a format rule, where the bitstream includes one or more output layer sets and one or more parameter sets that include one or more profile tier level syntax structures, where at least one of the profile tier level syntax structures includes a general constraints information syntax structure, where the format rule specifies that a syntax element is included in a configuration record in the visual media file, and where the syntax element indicates a profile, a tier, or a level to which an output layer set identified by an output layer set index indicated in the configuration record conforms.
