Method and system for creating media content
Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed for determining a plurality of parameters of a shim file to define a format of at least one media content input, creating a file based program master based on the shim file, and providing the created file based program master to a user for creating and delivering the at least one media content input.
RIGHTS MANAGEMENT AND SYNDICATION OF CONTENT
Systems, devices, and methods are described herein for distributing syndicated content or content with one or more distribution restrictions. In one aspect, a method may include assigning a unique ID to a plurality of content items, where the unique ID of at least one of the content items is associated with one or more property distribution restrictions. The method may further include streaming in a video stream the content items to at least two properties and monitoring the unique IDs of the plurality of content items streamed in the video stream to detect least one content item associated with the one or more property distribution restrictions. The distribution of the least one content item associated with the one or more property distribution restrictions may be blocked from the one or more properties concurrently with streaming the video stream, based on the one or more property distribution restrictions.

Photosensitivity protection for video display
Systems and methods for providing photosensitivity protection for content displayable with a screen display are provided. Content, which may include video content, may be received at a media device. A portion of the video content that corresponds to flashing images may be identified with the media device. A precaution against the flashing images may be identified based at least in part on the identifying of the portion of the video content that corresponds to flashing images. One or more of at least a portion of the video content and/or information about the video content may be displayed based at least in part on the precaution.

CONTROLLING SPEED OF THE DISPLAY OF SUB-TITLES
Applying a presentation timestamp to an element of a sequence of sub-titles. A minimum presentation timestamp T.sub.MIN of an element of a sequence of sub-titles N is initialized. The presentation timestamp T(N) of the new element of a sub-title sequence N is compared with the minimum presentation timestamp for sub-titles T.sub.MIN. The minimum presentation timestamp for sub-titles T.sub.MIN is applied to the element of a sequence of sub-titles N if the presentation timestamp T(N) of the new sub-titles element is prior to the minimum presentation timestamp for sub-titles T.sub.MIN. The minimum presentation timestamp for sub-titles T.sub.MIN for an element of a sequence of sub-titles N+1 is calculated as a timestamp posterior to the presentation timestamp T(N) of the new sub-titles element.
CONTROLLING MODES OF SUB-TITLE PRESENTATION
Creating a sub-titles stream or file composed of sub-titles elements. For each sub-titles element in said sub-titles elements, a sub-titles element is inserted into the sub-titles stream or file, at least one end-of-block condition related to a mode of presentation of sub-titles is verified, and a datum representative of an end of a block according to the mode of presentation of sub-titles is inserted into the sub-titles stream or file upon satisfying said at least one end-of-block condition. A sub-titles stream or file may be presented on a terminal of a user by selecting on the terminal a mode of presentation of sub-titles, reading a sub-titles block associated with the mode of presentation in the stream or file, and presenting on the terminal the at least one sub-titles block according to the mode of presentation.
