A system and methods is provided for converting visual, audio and/or other forms of sensory content & experiences that include items representing people, animals, objects, locations, products, services, organizations, events, textual information, etc. into interactive media that is used for accessing and saving data and information, obtaining additional content and for exercising further actions. A centralized platform provides individual and collective management of data, content and actions associated to the various types of users of the system.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing a chronologically-based search engine. Example methods includes presenting, on a display of an end-user device, live image data being captured by a camera of the end-user device, determining a pose of the end-user device, and sending the pose of the device to a server. The method also includes receiving location specific data from the server, the location specific data based on the pose of the end-user device, the location specific data including a first topic, and superimposing, on the live image data, based on the location specific data, (i) at least one highlighted area of an object associated with the first topic, and (ii) a query panel associated with the first topic superimposed proximate the object, the at least one highlighted area and the query panel being interactive elements associated with the first topic.

Methods and systems for content modification are described. A computing device may determine a surface (e.g., a surface of an object) in primary content. The computing device may determine the surface is a candidate for placement of secondary content. The computing device may determine one or more output parameters associated with the surface. The computing device may adjust an output parameter of the one or more output parameters of the surface so as to optimize the surface for placement of the secondary content.

A system for contextualizing a digital flyer is disclosed. The system includes a polygon mapping module for incorporating contextual information in the digital flyer using polygon mapping information, the polygon mapping information comprising a polygon for defining a polygonal area on a source flyer image of the digital flyer, the polygon being tagged with the contextual information, and a flyer data store for storing the tagged polygon. There is also disclosed for displaying the contextualized digital flyer and generating feedback using the contextualized digital flyer.

The present disclosure belongs to the field of computer technology and relates to a data processing method and device, a computer-readable storage medium, and an electronic device. The method includes: determining an image frame of video data, and acquiring position information of a function area located in the image frame; acquiring coding information of the function area, and establishing a first mapping relationship between the coding information and the position information; and acquiring a time stamp of the image frame, and establishing a second mapping relationship between the time stamp and the first mapping relationship.

An affiliate linking system may create affiliate video data that causes a clickable graphical object to be rendered overlaid on video content. The clickable graphical object may include an affiliate link that when accessed, gains credit for a lead generated by the act of accessing the computing resource indicated by the link. The clickable graphical object may be synchronized to a timeframe within the video to coincide with actions or objects within the video. The affiliate video data that causes video content to be overlaid with an affiliate layer can be shared via social media, email, text, or other communication methods.

Despite the massive advances in digital electronics, telecommunications networks, and electronic devices in the past 20 years our engagement with video content is essentially unchanged to that of the first video recorders as it is merely where we access it and upon what we access it that have changed. It is still a passive experience. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide multimedia content that facilitates user engagement and transactions directly through their viewing of the multimedia content in shareable multimedia content elements. Such engagement and transactions may be accessing additional informational content linked to specific elements within the multimedia content or triggering the purchase of an item contained within the multimedia content.

Embodiments of the invention may support monetization, analytics, secondary multimedia content, website functionality and micro-websites.

Systems and methods for providing an interactive multimedia experience are described. For example, a method for providing interactive content includes receiving content data, receiving an indication of a region within a frame of the content data, receiving a scripting event associated with the region, wherein the scripting event specifies an action to be taken responsive to a trigger, receiving a metadata tag or a reference to the metadata tag, the metadata tag associated with the region, and formatting at least a portion of the content data, the indication of the region, the scripting event, and the metadata tag or the reference to the metadata tag in accordance with a file format for transmission.

A method and video device are disclosed for accessing information. In an embodiment of the present invention, part of data included in a title, being played, read from a storage medium or extracted from a broadcast signal is extracted and sent to a server over a network, and information corresponding to the part of the data (i.e., information related to the data and complete data of the data) is received from the server and played. Rather than the part of the data, information related to a position of the data, (e.g. a time point at which the playing of the data starts within the title or a radial position or a physical address at which the data is located in the storage medium) may be sent. The data may be data that forms audio, a frame-shaped video clip or a frame-shaped picture included in the title.

Systems and methods for configuring devices are disclosed. One method can comprise receiving an output signal representing user rights relating to a requested data and processing the output signal to generate validation data. The method can also comprise transmitting the validation data to a source of the requested data, wherein the validation data facilitates the transmission of the requested data.
