APPLYING STORED DIGITAL MAKEUP ENHANCEMENTS TO RECOGNIZED FACES IN DIGITAL IMAGES
An example method includes outputting, by a computing device for display, one or more digital images that include a face of a user, receiving, by the computing device and based on a facial recognition process, an indication of a match between facial data associated with the face of the user and reference facial data associated with a face of an enrolled user of the computing device, and retrieving, by the computing device, digital makeup enhancement data that is associated with the reference facial data. The example method further includes applying, by the computing device, the digital makeup enhancement data to the facial data, of tire face of the user to generate one or more modified digital images that indicate at least one corresponding digital makeup enhancement to the face of the user, and outputting, by the computing device for display, the one or more modified digital images.
User feedback for real-time checking and improving quality of scanned image
A smartphone may be freely moved in three dimensions as it captures a stream of images of an object. Multiple image frames may be captured in different orientations and distances from the object and combined into a composite image representing an image of the object. The image frames may be formed into the composite image based on representing features of each image frame as a set of points in a three dimensional point cloud. Inconsistencies between the image frames may be adjusted when projecting respective points in the point cloud into the composite image. Quality of the image frames may be improved by processing the image frames to correct errors. Distracting features, such as the finger of a user holding the object being scanned, can be replaced with background content. As the scan progresses, a direction for capturing subsequent image frames is provided to a user as a real-time feedback.
IMAGE CAPTURING METHOD USING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING SAME
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a memory, at least one camera, and a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, the memory, and the at least one camera and is configured to obtain information related to the location of at least one external electronic device on the basis of a signal received from the at least one external electronic device via the communication circuit, receive information of a subject related to the at least one external electronic device from the at least one external electronic device via the communication circuit, and configure image capturing information of the at least one camera on the basis of the information related to the location of the external electronic device and the information of the subject.
VIEWFINDER RING FLASH
The technical problem of enhancing the quality of an image captured by a front facing camera in low light conditions is addressed by displaying the viewfinder of a front facing camera with an illuminating border, termed a viewfinder ring flash. A viewfinder ring flash acts as a ring flash in low light conditions. A viewfinder ring flash may be automatically generated and presented in the camera view user interface (UI) when the digital sensor of a front facing camera detects a low light indication based on intensity of incident light detected by the digital image sensor of the camera.
USER INTERFACE FOR IMAGE CAPTURE
The present disclosure provides systems, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media that support linking paused video recordings captured over a period of time. In a first aspect, a method of image processing may include determining a match between first image data and second image data; presenting an indication to a user of the match; receiving user input responsive to the indication; and based on determining the match and the user input indicating to combine the first image data and the second image data, determining output image data comprising at least some of the first image data and at least some of the second image data. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
Systems and Methods for Previewing Newly Captured Image Content and Reviewing Previously Stored Image Content
Systems and methods for previewing newly captured image content and reviewing previously stored image content using an electronic device are provided. The previously stored image content may include an individual distinct image or at least two consecutive video frame images.
IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS HAVING FUNCTION OF PHOTOGRAPHING STILL IMAGE DURING MOVING IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHING, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME
An image capturing apparatus capable of keeping constant the update interval of a display section even when still image photographing is performed during moving image photographing. In the image capturing apparatus, by controlling a storage time period during which display image data is stored in a storage section, a time period from a frame start to the start of displaying image data with a first resolution is made equal to a time period from a frame start to the start of displaying image data with a third resolution. Further, by controlling changing the start timing of reading out image data with a second resolution, the update interval of the display image data is kept constant.
USER INTERFACE CAMERA EFFECTS
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces. In some examples, the electronic device provides for transitioning between simulated lighting effects. In some examples, the electronic device applies a simulated lighting effect to an image. In some examples, the electronic device provides user interfaces for applying a filter to an image. In some examples, the electronic device provides for a reduced filter interface. In some examples, the electronic device provides a visual aid displayed in a viewfinder.
Electronic device and method for controlling camera using external electronic device
An electronic device and method are provided. The electronic device includes a camera, a communication circuit, and a processor configured to be operably coupled to the camera and the communication circuit. The processor is further configured to receive first image data from the camera by controlling the camera based on a first parameter, transmit the first image data to an external electronic device by using the communication circuit in response to acquisition of the first image data, identify a second parameter for controlling the camera at least based on the external electronic device having received the first image data, and acquire second image data by controlling the camera based on the second parameter in response to the identification of the second parameter.
Camera and flashlight operation in hinged device
One example provides a computing device including a first portion including a first display, a second portion including a second display and a camera, the second portion connected to the first portion via a hinge, a hinge angle sensing mechanism including one or more sensors, a logic device, and a storage device holding instructions executable by the logic device to execute a camera application and to receive sensor data from the one or more sensors, based at least in part on the sensor data received from the one or more sensors, determine a device pose, output the camera application to the first display when the device pose is indicative of the camera being world-facing, and output the camera application to the second display when the device pose is indicative of the camera being user-facing.
