In some examples, the disclosure describes a nano-position stage, an imaging device coupled to the nano-position stage, and a controller comprising instructions to: instruct the imaging device to capture a first image of a subject, instruct the nano-position stage to alter a position of the imaging device a distance based on a pixel size of the first image, instruct the imaging device to capture a second image of the subject at the altered position, and generate a third image of the subject utilizing the first image and the second image.

Image tracking apparatus

An image tracking apparatus, which tracks a subject in a moving image, comprising: an image acquisition device that acquires image data indicating the moving image; a first detector that detects a first area of a subject in acquired image data to track the first area in the moving image; a second detector that detects a second area of a subject in the image data to track the second area in the moving image; and a controller that tracks the subject by switching between a tracking result of the first detector and a tracking result of the second detector. The first and the second detector operate independently. The controller tracks the subject using the tracking result of the first detector when the first area is tracked, and tracks the subject using the tracking result of the second detector when the first area is not tracked and the second area is tracked.

Indoor camera and action log recording system

An indoor camera includes: an image capturing unit; a storage unit configured to store at least one detection area in association with stagnation times, the detection area that is a target area for detecting stagnation of a pet, and the stagnation times indicating the number of times when the pet enters the detection area and stagnates in the detection area; and a processor configured to detect a position of the pet and count the stagnation times of the pet in the detection area based on captured images. If determining, based on the captured images, that the pet stagnates in the detection area for a predetermined time period or longer, the processor increments and counts the stagnation times of the pet in the detection area and generates an action log including identification information of the detection area and information on the stagnation times.

Categorization of photographs

In one aspect, a device may include at least one processor and storage accessible to the at least one processor. The storage may include instructions executable by the at least one processor to categorize a first image into one of a work category and a non-work category. Based on the first image being categorized into the work category, the instructions may be executable to present the first image on a display while the device is disposed at a first location associated with the work category. Based on the first image being categorized into the non-work category, the instructions may be executable to present the first image on the display while the device is disposed at a second location associated with the non-work category.

A security system can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include an outwardly facing portion configured to face away from the power outlet and an inwardly facing portion having a first electrical prong and a second electrical prong that protrude into the power outlet to mount the security system to the power outlet. The security system can also include a detection system comprising a camera and a motion detector.

Image Processing Method, Electronic Device, and Cloud Server

An electronic device detects a first operation for enabling burst shooting; obtains, in response to the first operation, at least two groups of raw data collected by the camera, where each group of raw data corresponds to one image; sends the at least two groups of raw data to the cloud server, so that the cloud server generates, based on each group of raw data, a corresponding thumbnail and an image corresponding to the thumbnail; receives at least one thumbnail from the cloud server; displays the at least one thumbnail on a display; sends a request message to the cloud server after detecting a second operation for selecting a first thumbnail included in the at least one thumbnail, where the request message is used to request a first image corresponding to the first thumbnail; receives the first image from the cloud server; and displays the first image on the display.

VIEWFINDER RING FLASH

The technical problem of enhancing the quality of an image captured by a front facing camera in low light conditions is addressed by displaying the viewfinder of a front facing camera with an illuminating border, termed a viewfinder ring flash. A viewfinder ring flash acts as a ring flash in low light conditions. A viewfinder ring flash may be automatically generated and presented in the camera view user interface (UI) when the digital sensor of a front facing camera detects a low light indication based on intensity of incident light detected by the digital image sensor of the camera.

MOBILE DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING MOBILE DEVICE CRADLE
20220408026 · 2022-12-22 · ·

A mobile device which operates in conjunction with a mobile device cradle is provided. The mobile device is a mobile device which is held by a mobile device cradle and controls the mobile device cradle to be driven, and may include at least one camera which captures a forward image, a display, and at least one processor which executes an application which detects a subject from the forward image and controls the mobile device cradle to be driven so that a forward direction of the mobile device follows the subject according to movement of the subject.

Imaging apparatus and image generating method that detects an orientation of an imaging section and generates an image corresponding to a polarization direction corresponding to the orientation the imaging section

A polarization filter effect is prevented from being changed due to a change in orientation of an imaging apparatus. An imaging apparatus according to the present technique includes an imaging section including a first pixel capable of receiving light in a first polarization direction and a second pixel capable of receiving light in a second polarization direction different from the first polarization direction, a detection section detecting an orientation of the imaging section, and an image generating section generating, on the basis of signals for the first and second pixels, an image corresponding to a polarization direction corresponding to a detection result from the detection section. Thus, as an image corresponding to a particular polarization direction, that is, an image corresponding to application of a polarization filter effect, an image can be generated that corresponds to a polarization direction corresponding to a change in the orientation of the imaging section.
