Dual camera system zoom notification
In embodiments of dual camera system zoom notification, a dual camera system includes a first imager and a second imager that are designed to support synthetic optical zoom of a scene. A camera controller is implemented to determine that the synthetic optical zoom is not supported to capture an image of the scene with the dual camera system. The camera controller can then initiate a message for a user of the dual camera system to indicate that the synthetic optical zoom is not supported to capture the image of the scene. The message can be displayed to indicate that the synthetic optical zoom is not supported and/or to indicate that digital zoom is activated. A user can also be provided with selectable options that enable the user to decide the zoom operation when the dual camera system is not operational for synthetic optical zoom.
INTERACTIVE SYSTEM SETUP CONCEPT
A device and a method for determining a position of a user's body portion. The device includes a camera, configured to capture the body portion, and a display for providing visual feedback. A sensor determines at least one of a roll angle, a pitch angle, and a yaw angle of the device, and an interface receives picture data related to a pictorial representation of the body portion captured and sensor data related to the determined angle of the device. An analyzer analyzes, based on the picture data, whether the captured body portion is within a predetermined region of the picture and, based on the sensor data, whether at least one of the roll angle, the pitch angle, and the yaw angle is within a predetermined angle range. The method includes capturing the body portion, providing visual feedback, receiving angle data, receiving picture data, and analyzing whether the captured body portion is within a predetermined region and whether at least one of the roll, pitch, and yaw angles is within a predetermined angle range.
OPTICAL DRIVER APPARATUS, OPTICAL APPARATUS AND IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS
The optical driver apparatus is detachably attachable to an optical apparatus. The optical apparatus includes a lens operation member operable manually, and a locking mechanism switchable between a locking state of restraining motion of the lens operation member and an unlocking state of releasing the restraint. The optical driver apparatus includes a driver operation member, an actuator configured to move the lens operation member, and a controller configured to control the actuator. The controller is configured to drive the actuator in response to an operation of the driver operation member when the locking mechanism is in the unlocking state and to control the actuator, when the locking mechanism is in the locking state, so as to provide one of a state of not driving the actuator in response to the operation of the driver operation member and a state of performing a warning operation.
Imaging control apparatus, control method of the same, and storage medium
An imaging control apparatus includes a setting unit configured to set a time of a self-timer, a control unit configured to control image capturing to be performed upon a lapse of the time set by the setting unit from when an image capturing instruction is issued, and a display control unit configured to control a count display to be displayed with a first size in a case where the time set by the setting unit is equal to or larger than a first predetermined time, and to control the count display to be displayed with a second size smaller than the first size in a case where the time set by the setting unit is smaller than the first predetermined time.
IMAGE SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE SIGNAL PROCESSING PROGRAM PRODUCT
An image signal processing apparatus includes a first control unit starting activation in response to an activation request, a decoding unit, and a second control unit. Each of the decoding unit and the second control unit starts activation when the first control unit completes the activation, and shifts from an off-state to a normal operating state after the activation is completed. In the normal operating state, the decoding unit receives an image signal from outside and outputs the image signal after executing a decoding process to the image signal. In the normal operating state, the second control unit processes an image included in the image signal outputted from the decoding unit, and displays the processed image. When the first control unit completes the activation and the decoding unit completes the activation, the first control unit instructs the decoding unit to perform a setting for executing the decoding process.
PARKING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A parking assistance apparatus mounted on a vehicle includes a display processor that displays an image on a right-side display disposed on a right side with respect to a driver, and displays an image on a left-side display disposed on a left side with respect to the driver located in the interior of the vehicle, and a calculator that recognizes boundary lines of a parking area located in the rear of the vehicle, and specifies a gap in a vehicle width direction between the vehicle and one of the boundary lines on each of the left side and the right side to determine a leftward off-center or a rightward off-center. The display processor displays a vehicle off-center image indicating a result determined by the calculator on each of the right-side display and the left-side display together with the image captured.
IMAGE CAPTURE DEVICE WITH SCHEDULED CAPTURE CAPABILITY
A user interface of an image capture device may provide options for a user to schedule future capture of visual content by the image capture device. The user may interact with the options to specify the start time and the capture duration for the future capture of visual content.
AUGMENTED-REALITY-BASED VIDEO RECORD AND PAUSE ZONE CREATION
According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for operating a camera to perform video capture of a subject is provided. The present invention may include pausing or recording video capture of the subject based on the camera's location within one or more designated recording zones, wherein the recording zones are two-dimensional or three-dimensional regions comprising or within view of the subject, and wherein the recording zones are designated within an augmented reality environment.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A user can more easily recognize a change in the internal state of a device and a change in the temperature of the device due to the change in the internal state. An electronic device includes a display unit, and a control unit configured to display a temperature change acquired from a temperature acquisition unit configured to acquire a temperature of the electronic device and a state change acquired from a detection unit configured to detect a state of the electronic device, wherein the control unit performs control to display on the display unit the temperature change and the state change for a single time at a certain time point.
Devices and methods for capturing and interacting with enhanced digital images
An electronic device, while in a first media acquisition mode, captures media and performs scene recognition. If the scene recognition meets first criteria, the media is displayed as a sequence of images acquired by the camera in temporal proximity to a single activation of a shutter button of the device at the first time. The sequence of images includes a plurality of images acquired by the camera prior to detecting activation of the shutter button at the first time, a representative image that represents the sequence of images and was acquired by the camera after one or more other images in the sequence of images, and a plurality of images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image. If the scene recognition does not meet the first criteria, the media is displayed as a single image in temporal proximity to the activation of the shutter button.
