When acquiring the destination information in the address book, the controller generates a destination list based on the destination information (Step S36), accepts a selecting operation to select a destination of the image data from the destination list (Step S37), and sends the image data to the accepted destination (Step S39).

According to one embodiment, there is provided an image forming device that prevents write information from being incorrectly written to a non-target RFID tag. The image forming device according to the embodiment includes: a placement unit, a wireless tag communication unit, and a conductor. A sheet provided with a wireless tag can be placed in the placement unit. The wireless tag communication unit can write information to the wireless tag provided on the sheet. The conductor is provided in the placement unit and hinders communication between the wireless tag communication unit and the wireless tag.

The mobile terminal further includes a wireless LAN controller that cause a wireless LAN communication section to transmit data to the selected device.

A communication apparatus may perform: communicating a wireless setting value with a printer via a first wireless communication interface, establishing the wireless connection with the printer via a second wireless communication interface using the wireless setting value; sending first image data representing a first image of a print target to the printer via the second wireless communication interface using the wireless connection; determining, after the first image data is sent to the printer, whether an apparatus-side disconnection condition is satisfied; disconnecting the wireless connection when it is determined that the apparatus-side disconnection condition is satisfied; and sending, when it is determined that the apparatus-side disconnection condition is not satisfied, second image data representing a second image of a print target to the printer via the second wireless communication interface using the wireless connection.

An information processing apparatus capable of executing near field wireless communication, comprises: a display unit configured to display a screen; an obtaining unit configured to obtain identification information regarding a device from a near field wireless communication tag with use of the near field wireless communication; a selection unit configured, in a case where the obtaining unit obtained the identification information, to select one of first processing for connecting to the device indicated by the identification information and second processing for connecting to the device indicated by the identification information and sending data to the device, based on a type of screen being displayed by the display unit; and a processing unit configured to execute the processing selected by the selection unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a communication portion arranged inside a cover covering an image forming portion in the main body of the apparatus and including an antenna surface for use in establishing near field communication. The cover includes a stacking portion in its upper section. The stacking portion is configured to receive a recording medium with an image thereon, the recording medium being discharged outside the main body of the apparatus. The antenna surface faces a region of the upper section of the cover downstream in a direction of discharging the recording medium. The communication portion is capable of communicating with another communication portion using near field communication.
