CHARCOAL GRILL, COMPONENTS, AND SYSTEM
Grills and charcoal-containing fuel blocks are disclosed. A grill may include a housing at least partially defining a cooking chamber, a combustion chamber having a support surface configured to support a charcoal-containing fuel block, the combustion chamber may be fluidically and thermally connected to the cooking chamber, an igniter configured to heat a charcoal-containing fuel block positioned on the support surface, a stoke chamber positioned under and fluidically connected to the combustion chamber, stoke ducting having a first end fluidically connected to the stoke chamber and a second end fluidically connected to a stoke fan, the stoke fan configured to flow air from outside the housing and into the stoke chamber through the stoke ducting, cooling ducting fluidically connecting the cooking chamber to a cooling fan, and the cooling fan configured to flow air from outside the housing and into the cooking chamber through the cooling ducting.
IGNITION-BASED PROTOCOLS FOR PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills including a control system that implements, manages, and/or controls various ignition-based protocols and/or processes are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes a cooking chamber, a burn pot, an ignitor, and a controller. The ignitor extends into the burn pot and is configured to ignite pellet fuel located within the burn pot. The controller is configured to command the ignitor to activate during a first duration. The controller is further configured to determine, following expiration of the first duration, whether a temperature of the cooking chamber has reached a threshold temperature. The controller is further configured, in response to determining that the temperature has not reached the threshold temperature, to command the ignitor to activate during a second duration.
Smoking Article and Method
A meat smoker/cooker device is provided and includes a fuel chamber having a fuel chamber structure which includes a fuel chamber sidewall that defines a fuel chamber cavity, wherein the fuel chamber sidewall includes a first mounting hole, a second mounting hole and a sidewall slot communicated with the chamber cavity. Additionally, the meat smoker device also includes a fuel container having a container rim and being located within the chamber cavity proximate the slot bottom and an ignition article having an ignition article handle, an ignition article mounting structure and a heating element, wherein the ignition article handle includes a handle portion movably located within the sidewall slot and wherein the ignition article mounting structure is configured to mountingly engage with the first and second mounting hole, such that the ignition article is configurable between a first and second configuration.
PACKABLE MODULAR COMBUSTION GRILL
A grill stove includes a kettle, legs, and a lid. The kettle includes an outer wall with a ventilation aperture, an inner wall, and a top collar extending between the inner wall and the outer wall and connecting the top portion of the outer wall to the top portion of the inner wall to form a dual-walled kettle. A base pan may be attached to the outer wall and may form a bottom of the kettle. A nest pan may have an edge and a ventilation aperture. The edge of the nest pan may be attached to the bottom portion of the inner wall and disposed above the base pan. The nest pan and the base pan being spaced apart to form a gap therebetween. The ventilation aperture of the nest pan may be in fluid communication with the ventilation aperture of the outer wall. An ash pan may be removably positionable above the nest pan.
GRILL DEVICE, COMPONENTS OF GRILL DEVICE, AND RELATED METHODS
A grill device includes a cooking portion assembly including a fire pot assembly, an ash-collection container, a bottom plate extending between the fire pot assembly and the ash-collection container, a drip tray disposed above the fire pot assembly and ash-collection container, a cooking chamber defined above the drip tray, and an expansion chamber defined beneath the drip tray and above the fire pot assembly, the ash-collection container, and the bottom plate, wherein the expansion chamber is configured to facilitate particulate within smoke produced by combustion within the fire pot assembly to fall out of the smoke before the smoke reaches the cooking chamber.
Chimney starter booster
A chimney starter booster has an air intake port and an air output port connected by internal ducting in the booster's housing. The air intake port is configured to accept a wireless fan blower. The fan blower supplies directed air through the ducting and out the air output port containing an air deflecting nozzle. A standard chimney starter sits on a top portion of the booster's housing, such that the directed air enters the bottom of the chimney starter to accelerate the burning of the charcoal.
Combustible Cooking Brick and Cover Device Assembly
A combustible cooking brick and cover device assembly for controlled and mess-free grilling includes a combustible cooking brick and a cover device. The combustible cooking brick comprises crushed charcoal and at least 2% lighter fluid by weight. The brick is rectangular prismatic and proportioned to fit within a standard barbeque grill. A cover device comprises a lid body having an upper face and a sidewall extending outward and downward from a perimeter of the upper face. The sidewall and the upper face define a lid interior dimensioned to contain the combustible cooking brick. A handle is coupled to the lid body and a lip is coupled to the lid body. The lip horizontally extends from a lower edge of the sidewall.
SMOKE FUNCTIONALITY IN ELECTRIC GRILL-TYPE APPLIANCE
A cooking system includes a housing having a hollow interior, a heating element operable to heat to said hollow interior, a food support surface arranged within said hollow interior, and a combustible substrate module removably positionable in said housing. When positioned in the housing, the combustible substrate module is arranged in fluid communication with the hollow interior and the combustible substrate module is disposed remote of the food support surface.
IMPROVED CHIMNEY STARTER
