Rotisserie Grill Cooker
A rotisserie grill cooker has a base, a support post, a cantilevered rail, a cage-drive assembly, and a firepit. Together these enable a user to suspend a rotating food rack over a heat source. Specifically, the base is a rigid structure to which one end of the support post is pivotably connected. The cantilevered rail extends away from the support post over the heat source. The cantilevered rail is positioned offset from the base along the support post, so the food rack can be suspended in between the cantilevered rail and the firepit that traverses through the base. The cage-drive assembly is a motorized support system, is slidably engaged along the cantilevered rail, and rotates the food rack. The support assembly has a carriage that is connected in between a drive system and the cantilevered rail. The heat source is within the firepit and heats the food rack.
GRILL HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT AND INDICATOR MECHANISM AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A grill height adjustment and height indication apparatus for indicating the height setting of a grill, the grill height indication apparatus including a height indicator driving portion operatively connected to a grill height adjustment crank. The apparatus further includes an indication portion, having a plurality of incremental markings, for indicating a grill height. The indicator driving portion drives the indication portion to display a first incremental marking for a first grill height and the height indicator driving portion drives the indication portion to display a second incremental marking for at least a second grill height different from the first grill height. The indication apparatus may further include an audible indication portion that produces an audible tone at set increments as the grill height adjustment crank is rotated.
Portable BBQ grill
A BBQ Grill comprising two side assemblies each with a lower side panel, an upper side panel, each of the upper side panels being slideably received in respective lower side panels. Cross braces space the panels apart and a grill plate is adapted to detachably engage apertures in the upper side panels. The grill has legs that extend and retract associated with the lower side panels and the upper side panels have a handle assembly with a push button to set pawls of a latch plate at selected apertures associated with the lower side panel. The grill preferably includes a rear wall, a drip tray and fuel support configured with the grill plate to be assembled between the two side assemblies in cooperation with the cross braces selectively connecting the two lower side panels. Various accessories are disclosed. The grill can use wood, charcoal briquettes or gas.
AN ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF A GRILL RACK
The invention discloses an adjusting device for adjusting the position of a grill rack relative to a combustible heat source. The device comprises an annular body defining at least one track in the form of a slot extending through the body partially around the circumference thereof; a support for supporting the grill rack being provided with an adjustment guide extending through the slot for travelling along the track; and at least one retaining formation for releasably retaining the adjustment guide in a position intermediate the two extremities of the track. Movement of the adjustment guide along the track moves the support and grill rack relative to the heat source. The device can be used with, or be integral with a kettle-type grill or be used as a barbeque grill on its own and is configured such that the components are collapsible and stackable for convenient storage and transportation.
STOVE
A stove includes a heating unit, an adjustment unit and a grill grate. The adjustment unit includes two lifting units, a synchronizer, and a drive unit. Each lifting unit has a screw rod, a sliding block movable along the screw rod, and a lift frame mounted to the sliding block. The synchronizer connects the lifting units. The drive unit is connected to the screw rod of one of the lifting units and is operable to drive synchronized rotation of the screw rods through the synchronizer. The grill grate is supported by the lift frames for moving between a first position, where the grill grate is proximate to the heating unit, and a second position, where the grill grate is distal from the heating unit.
EXPRESS BARBEQUE WITH OFFSET HEAT DISTRIBUTOR AND METHOD OF USING SAME
An express barbeque for cooking food includes a housing including a base and a lid with a cooking chamber therein. A grill is positionable in the base to support the food, with a food splatter area defined about the grill. Heat distributors are positioned about the cooking chamber offset laterally from the food splatter area. Each of the heat distributors includes a perforated pipe and a corresponding heat diverter. Each of the perforated pipes is shaped to receive heat from a heat source, and each has the corresponding heat diverter positioned thereabout to pass the heat from the perforated pipe through the cooking chamber whereby cooking of the food is facilitated. A cooking drawer may be slidably retractable from the housing. The cooking drawer may include the upper grill and a lower drip tray. The lower drip tray is connected below the grill to catch drippings therefrom.
Apparatus for cooking pizza in kettle- or kamado-style cooking grills
An apparatus usable in a kettle- or kamado-style grill instead of a conventional cooking grate. The apparatus includes a cooking surface support configured for support in a base of the grill in lieu of the conventional grate, and a complementary cooking surface supportable on the cooking surface support. The cooking surface support defines open fuel ports providing access to the fuel chamber. The apparatus may include a secondary fuel basket positionable within an open fuel port. An alternative apparatus comprises a unitary body adapted to be supported in the bottom portion of the cooking grill. The unitary body comprises a structural support portion configured to abut a bottom portion of the grill, and a cooking support portion spanning more than 50% of the area of the unitary body. The unitary body defines at least one open fuel port permit admission of additional fuel to the bottom of the grill.
Adjustable height grilling grate assembly
An adjustable height grilling grate assembly includes a grate having a perimeter edge. A lift is attached to the grate for lifting or lowering the grate. The lift comprises a pair of vertical supports and a spindle is rotatably attached to and extends between each of the vertical supports. A pair of cables is attached to the spindle and are wound onto the spindle when the spindle is rotated in a first direction and unwound from the spindle when the spindle is rotated in a second direction. Each of the cables terminates with a connector and the connectors are attached to the grate. A pair of couplers is provided and each the vertical supports has one of the couplers slidably mounted thereto. The couplers engage the perimeter edge of the grate to retain the grate in a horizontal orientation when the vertical supports are in a vertical orientation.
APPARATUS FOR CONVERTING KETTLE OR KAMADO STYLE COOKING GRILLS FOR COOKING PIZZA
The invention pertains to an accessory for adapting cooking grills, especially kettle and kamado style grills for better cooking of pizzas and other foods not typically thought of as appropriate for grilling. The accessory is an insert that is adapted to sit between the bottom and the top of the grill and is generally shaped with a horizontal cross-section substantially similar to the horizontal cross section at the junction of the bottom and the top of the grill with which it is adapted to work. The insert increases the height of the cooking chamber. The insert includes a side opening or window through which food may be inserted and removed from the expanded cooking chamber without the need to open or remove the top of the grill.
