A lifting mechanism is disclosed including: a base, on both sides of which a first vertical guide rail and a second vertical guide rail are provided respectively; a driving mechanism, including a first sliding block slidably mounted on the first guide rail, a motor assembly fixedly mounted on the first sliding block, a first rack arranged on the first guide rail, a first gear engaged with the first rack, a second sliding block slidably mounted on the second guide rail, a second rack arranged on the second guide rail, a second gear engaged with the second rack and a linkage shaft connected with the first and second gears and driven to rotate by the motor assembly; and a connecting mechanism connected with an external component and drivable by the driving mechanism to move up and down.

The Accelerated Slow Roasting Apparatus is a device for slow-and-low cooking a whole previously butterflied-prepared animal carcass comprising a closed cooking chamber with a plurality of adjustable air vents arranged on the bottom edge of the cooking chamber and a plurality of adjustable opening vents on a vertical side of the lid of the cooking chamber, and a slide out cooking grate with adjustable rails to support the grate while out of the cooking apparatus, a plurality of removable cooking fuel trays, wherein the cooking grate is positioned between twenty-five and forty centimeters above the cooking fuel trays to enable a flame-flare-up free, time-accelerated, slow-and-low cooking of the animal carcass in half, or less than half, of the traditional sixteen to twenty-two hours cooking time.

Disclosed is a BBQ Grill comprising two lower side panels, two upper side panels that are slideably received in the lower side panels. Crossbraces space the panels apart and a grill plate is adapted to detachably engage hooks on the upper side panels. The grill has legs that extend and retract associated with the lower side panels and the upper side panels have a handle assembly with a button to set pawls of a latch plate at selected apertures associated with the lower side panel. Various accessories are disclosed. The grill can be used with wood, charcoal briquettes or a gas burner.

The barbecue grill with a rotating fire receptacle includes a fire receptacle for receiving wood, charcoal or other combustible materials, which rotates, drawing air through a plurality of air inlets, or vents, formed through a lower wall thereof, thus increasing the oxygen flow through the receptacle and both increasing the rate of combustion as well as providing an enhanced convective path for the heated combustion gases. A grill system having a housing, a frame, movably imbedded inside the housing through a top of the housing, a grate covering a top of the frame, a wheel adjacent to a side of the housing, connected to a wheel shaft, parallel to the grate and connected to the frame, a lock securing the wheel in set positions, and a heat source inside the frame below the grate and above the wheel shaft. The wheel and wheel shaft being rotatable such that the frame and the grate are raised or lowered out of or into the housing as the wheel and wheel shaft rotate. The heat source is movable independent from the wheel, wheel shaft, frame, and grate, and the grate cannot be lowered below the heat source.

A barbecue support assembly for supporting an elongate skewer at one or more preselected heights above a barbecue grill. The barbecue support assembly includes one or more body elements having one or more parts thereof positionable substantially at one of the preselected heights. Also the part includes one or more apertures in which an end of the skewer is receivable.

A control system for use with an outdoor cooking apparatus may include a hub and an axle housing adapted to slidably couple with a hub. The control system may also include a motor mounted at or near the upper end of the axle housing and an axle mechanically coupled to the motor and extending through the axle housing to a free end emerging from the lower end of the axle housing. The control system may also include a support coupling attached to the free end of the axle, the support coupling being adapted to support a food support below the axle housing. The axle housing may be selectively arranged and secured relative to the sleeve to position the height of the support coupling relative to the lower end of the axle housing and the axle may rotate about its longitudinal axis when the motor is turned on.

Disclosed is a grid-like device for the support of the bottom exterior surface of a cooking vessel, the grid being removably placed atop the upper exterior surface of an outdoor cooking grill or smoker. Three identically-shaped and symmetrically bent metal rectangular bands are conjoined at their midpoints to form essentially a spherical grid shape. A series of symmetrical bends, arcs, and rounds are formed at specific intervals transverse to the length of each band such that the cumulative shape of the adjoined bands forms the grid. The bottom-most segment of the support grid comprises legs and feet of a semi-rigid elasticity such that the support device may be flexibly placed about the top of the grill or smoker. Spring tension coils connect the inner surfaces of the bands to stabilize the grid shape and to impart leveraged gripping force upon the feet of the grid.
