Image forming system, image forming apparatus, and program
An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus and a communication terminal. The image forming apparatus communicates with the communication terminal and includes an operation panel that displays a first display screen and accepts an operation of inputting information, and a hardware processor. The communication terminal communicates with the image forming apparatus, displays a second display screen, and accepts input of information and includes a central processing unit (CPU) that notifies the input of the information to the image forming apparatus. The communication terminal transmits the information input in the input device to the image forming apparatus, and the hardware processor determines whether the status of the operation panel is a status that accepts the operation, and upon the status of the operation panel being the status that accepts the operation, switches the first display screen to a screen that accepts the operation.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A login management portion performs user authentication on the basis of a user ID and allows login of a user. A transfer control portion transmits, to a predetermined call transfer control device, a transfer setting request for causing a voice communication device to change an incoming call destination of a telephone number that corresponds to the user ID of the user whose login has been allowed. The login management portion prohibits, when a first user logs in, login of a second user different from the first user, and allows, when the voice communication device starts voice communication of the telephone number that corresponds to the user ID of the first user, login of the second user while prohibiting use of the voice communication device by the second user different from the first user.
System, method and computer program product for multi-tenant facsimile server
In embodiments disclosed herein disclose methods and systems for providing a multitenant facsimile server. The computer instructions may be executable to maintain a set of entity information, wherein the entity information defines a plurality of tenants, and maintain a database configured to store transmitted and received fax documents corresponding to a plurality of tenants. The computer instructions may be further executable to receive a facsimile document at the fax server, wherein the facsimile document comprises one of a document to be transmitted or a received fax. The computer instructions may be further executable to identify a tenant associated with the document based on an identifier. Further, the computer instructions may be executable to store the document in the database, wherein the document is associated with the tenant in the database.
Method of managing a facsimile transmission
Devices, systems, and methods for managing a facsimile transmission receive, at a fax driver of a fax device, a request to transmit a fax job; determine whether a fax destination number for the fax job exists; in response to determining that the fax destination number for the fax job does not exist, send a request to display a notification; receive the fax destination number for the fax job; and send the received fax destination number for the fax job to the fax device.
Information processing apparatus and control method therefor, and non-transitory computer-readable medium that obtains and sets send destination information using a web browser function
An information processing apparatus comprises: a holding unit that holds destination information as a data sending destination of a data sending apparatus; an obtaining unit that obtains data of a setting screen from the data sending apparatus; a determination unit that determines whether a program for displaying the destination information on the setting screen is included in the data of the setting screen obtained by the obtaining unit; a display unit that, based on that the determination unit determining that the program is included, obtains the destination information from the holding unit and selectably displays the destination information on the setting screen by executing the program; and a sending unit that sends the selected destination information to the data sending apparatus by accepting selection of the destination information via the setting screen displayed by the display unit.
IMAGE COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
If a designated transmission destination is an external line, this image communication apparatus appends an external line number and transmits image data in accordance with the transmission destination. Furthermore, in accordance with the transmission destination used when transmitting the image data, this image communication apparatus individually records, as history information for each transmitted job, the designated transmission destination and the external line number if the external line number is appended. This image communication apparatus also registers the designated transmission destination from the history information to an address book.
NETWORK FACSIMILE APPARATUS
A network facsimile apparatus includes a transmission job accepting portion, a gateway data acquiring portion, a geographical correspondence data acquiring portion, a closest region identifying portion, and a FAX transmission requesting portion. The closest region identifying portion identifies closest geographical information from among a plurality of pieces of geographical information in geographical correspondence data corresponding to area codes of a plurality of gateway line numbers. The closest geographical information indicates a region closest to a region indicated by a piece of geographical information that corresponds to an area code of the destination line number set in the FAX transmission data. The FAX transmission requesting portion transmits the FAX transmission data, via the network, to a FAX gateway to which a gateway address corresponding to the closest geographical information has been assigned, and requests a FAX transmission to be performed via the public line based on the FAX transmission data.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CLOUD SERVER, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR SETTING CONNECTION WITH IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a communicator configured to receive printing data, an image former configured to print the received printing data, and at least one processor configured to, in response to receiving a request for connection setting information from the user terminal apparatus, control the communicator to transmit the connection setting information to the user terminal apparatus.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTELLIGENT ENTRY OF FAX NUMBERS
A system and method for populating fax recipient information on multifunction peripherals includes a touchscreen and a processor configured to generate user interface screens and receive user input from the touchscreen. The processor monitors the touchscreen for user entry of fax recipient information. The processor determines when there is a match between user entered information and contact information from an address book. When there is a match, the processor populates additional fax recipient information using the contact information. When there is no match of an entered fax number with a contact, the processor enters the fax number as the name of fax recipient. The processor monitors the touchscreen for user input that overwrites the processor populated fax recipient information, or a user command to add a fax recipient to a fax recipient list. The processor faxes a document to each fax recipient on the fax recipient list.
