Output system and image forming apparatus
An output system includes an output section, a fee calculation section, and a payment code notification section. The output section outputs an image and/or a document. The fee calculation section calculates a fee necessary for outputting the image and/or the document in accordance with a specific standard. The payment code notification section notifies a payment code issued by an online payment service for the fee calculated by the fee calculation section. The output section outputs the image and/or the document when the fee has been paid via the online payment service using the payment code notified by the payment code notification section.
Queue processor for document servers
A configurable queue processor for document servers is described. The configurable queue processor strives to allocate server resources in an optimal manner such that document servers can process documents efficiently. In various embodiments, the facility includes a configurable queue processor for allocating document flows for handling documents, document transport module for transporting documents between network devices, such as printers, fax boards, and content servers and across local and wide-area networks; functionality for routing optimization with other communications networks, such as messaging services, telephony, and IP networks; and flexible document transport capabilities to workflow applications and multifunction devices (such as all-in-one print/scan/copy/fax/telephone/answering machine devices) and multifunction devices enhanced with video and video capture, messaging, email, network router and gateway capabilities.
Independent synchronization with state transformation
Synchronization techniques with state transformation are described. The synchronization techniques may include storing a data object and metadata associated with the data object at a computing device. The data object can be stored in a first representative state at the computing device. The techniques may further involve receiving user input to synchronize the data object into a second representative state at a remote computing device, automatically transforming the data object from the first representative state into the second representative state, and synchronizing the data object to a remote data object stored at the remote computing device. The remote data object can be stored in the second representative state at the remote computing device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
An information processing system includes one or more image capturing devices and circuitry. The one or more image capturing devices capture a first slip and a second slip to generate one or more images. The first slip has a first image code corresponding to a first type of identification information thereon, and the second slip has a second image code corresponding to a second type of identification information thereon. The circuitry is to manage a position of the first slip based on the first image code recognized from the one or more images, manage a position of the second slip based on the second image code recognized from the one or more images, and display the position of the second slip in response to an operation performed by a user.
Method and system for optimizing image data for data transmission
This disclosure relates generally to edge computing, and more particularly to method and system for optimizing image data for data transmission. In one embodiment, a method is provided for optimizing image data for transmission to a server. The method may include receiving a plurality of server rules from the server with respect to an optimization and a transmission of the image data, generating a plurality of local decision making rules based on the plurality of server rules and one or more local events, analyzing at least a first portion of the image data based on the plurality of local decision making rules to generate image analytics data, and generating optimized image data for transmission to the server. The optimized image data comprises at least a second portion of the image data and the image analytics data.
Image forming apparatus, printing method, and non-transitory recording medium for storing computer readable program
An image forming apparatus having a function to communicate with a terminal is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive, from the terminal, a print command to print a rasterized image having been stored; a user interface configured to receive, from a user, an execution command to print the rasterized image after the receiver receives the print command; and a printer configured to print the rasterized image after the user interface receives the execution command.
IMAGE DECOLORING APPARATUS AND METHOD SETTING PASSWORD TO ACCESS DIFFERENCE OF IMAGE DATA READ BEFORE AND AFTER HEATING
An image decoloring apparatus includes a reader configured to read an image on a sheet to acquire image data, a storage section configured to store the image data acquired by the reader, and a first heater configured to heat the sheet. The apparatus further includes a difference extractor configured to extract difference image data based on first image data read from the sheet before it is heated by the first heater and second image data read from the sheet after it is heated by the first heater. The apparatus additionally includes a setting section configured to set a password required to access the difference image data.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATICALLY DETECTING AND VALIDATING END-USER PRINT-RELATED PROCESSING USING PRINT DEVICE INFORMATION
A system of identifying end-user processes in a print environment receives job data corresponding to jobs that have been processed by one or more print devices in a print environment over a time period, and identifies a plurality of processing operations initiated by a user during the time period. The system determines whether the plurality of processing operations comprise a scan processing operation that was performed after a print processing operation and within a second time period from performance of the print processing operation. In response to determining that the plurality of processing operations comprise a scan processing operation initiated by the user that was performed within the second time period from a print processing operation, the system generates a digital representation of an end user process that includes the first processing operation and the second processing operation, and presents a visual representation of the end user process for validation.
Printing system, and printer and computer-readable medium therefor
A printing system includes a printer configured to perform an issuance process of issuing a cancel notification in response to detecting a cancel trigger, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-readable instructions that, when executed by a processor connected with a communication interface, cause the processor to cancel a generating process of generating print data and a print instruction process of transmitting print instruction information to the printer via the communication interface, in response to acquiring the cancel notification issued by the printer, during the generating process.
Preventing restricted trades using physical documents
A system for preventing restricted transactions using physical trade documents includes a document intake machine comprising a document scanner and a data extractor. The document intake machine receives a physical trade document associated with a transaction of goods from an entity. The document scanner scans the physical trade document to create an electronic file. The data extractor identifies trade terms from the electronic file. A trade-executing machine receives the trade terms and compares them to a database of restricted trade terms. For each of the trade terms that match a restricted trade term, the trade executing machines identifies a confidence level associated with the trade term indicating a likelihood that the transaction of goods is a restricted transaction. If the confidence level is greater than a predetermined threshold, the trade executing machine flags the transaction of goods as a potential restricted transaction and communicates a notification message to the entity.
