A system and method hosts entity-specific photo-sharing websites for entity-specific image capture devices. The system and method provides software for the entity-specific image capture devices that causes the image capture devices to transmit entity ID information when the image capture devices transmit images over the Internet. The system and method further provide an online photosharing service capable of hosting the entity-specific photo-sharing websites for each of the entities, such that when the image capture devices connect to photo-sharing service, the photo-sharing service uses the entity ID received from the image capture devices to automatically associate the image with the photo-sharing websites of the identified entity.

A portable electronic device with a touch screen display for photo management is disclosed. One aspect of the invention involves a computer-implemented method in which the portable electronic device displays an array of thumbnail images corresponding to a set of photographic images. The device replaces the displayed array of thumbnail images with a user-selected photographic image upon detecting a user contact with a corresponding thumbnail image in the array. The user-selected photographic image is displayed at a larger scale than the corresponding thumbnail image. The portable device displays a different photographic image in replacement of the user-selected photographic image in accordance with a scrolling gesture. The scrolling gesture comprises a substantially horizontal movement of user contact with the touch screen display.

An information processing apparatus that can be connected to information terminals and a data storage device through a network, and includes: a storage request receiver that receives conference identification information, information terminal identification information for a user participating in the conference, conference material data, and a storage request of the conference material data; an authentication program generator that generates an authentication program for determining whether the conference material data is capable of being transmitted to any of the information terminals when the conference material data is transmitted to the information terminal based on correspondence information in which pieces of the information terminal identification information are at least correlated with respective pieces of conference identification information, in accordance with the storage request; and a storage controller that stores the conference material data contained in the storage request and the authentication program in the data storage device in a correlated manner.

There is provided a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing application program executable by a processor of an information processing apparatus which communicates with a scanner having specific information. The specific information indicates whether the scanner is configured to generate a specific file for which specific processing is executable by a specific program. The application program, when executed by the processor, causes the information processing apparatus to: obtain an image read by the scanner; obtain the specific information from the scanner; and generate a file indicating the obtained image. In a case that the specific information is first information, the application program causes the information processing apparatus to generate the file with usable information embedded therein. In a case that the specific information is second information, the application program cause the information processing apparatus to generate the file without the usable information embedded therein.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication module, a memory, a display, and a processor, wherein the processor may confirm a user input related to selection of an image corrected by using a first image processing scheme, transmit attribute information related to the first image processing scheme to an external electronic device through the communication module, based on the user input, receive, from the external electronic device through the communication module, the image corrected by using a second image processing scheme selected based on the attribute information in the external electronic device, and display, through the display, the image corrected by using the second image processing scheme.

A unique document identifier value is determined to identify the at least one page, the unique document identifier being determined based on an end document identifier value associated with an electronic document project managed by a document management system. An annotated electronic document is generated by embedding data representing the unique document identifier within the at least one page of the electronic document data. An information file is generated and includes at least one characteristic associated with the annotated electronic document. The information file and annotated electronic document are communicated to the document management system for incorporation into an associated electronic document project stored therein.

According to an embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes a communication device, a storage device, a display, a printer, and a processor. The communication device receives a document from a different apparatus. The processor causes the display to display, on the basis of the received documents stored in the storage device, a list of the received documents in an unprinted state, which are not yet printed by the printer, by distinguishing between the received document in an unread state that is not yet displayed by the display and the received document in an already-read state that is already displayed by the display.
