A plurality of electronic documents utilized in a transaction are automatically managed. For each separate document of the plurality, a custom printer driver receives instructions to a printer for printing the document. Instead of printing the document, the custom printer driver creates a file in a standard format such as PDF containing the document, based on the received print instructions. Content concerning the transaction is automatically added to at least one corresponding field of the file containing the document in the standard format. At least one electronic signature for the document is received, and automatically added to at least one corresponding location of the document in the standard format. The file containing the document in the standard format is saved with the added content concerning the transaction and the at least one electronic signature, and the saved file is associated with the transaction.

An image processing device includes an input device and circuitry. The input device inputs data. The circuitry converts text information to be printed included in the data to generate converted information and outputs data for image formation including the converted information.

Systems and methods for rendering a secure document with a text selection capability. The methods comprise, by a processor creating a graphic that includes at least one non-text object of a source document and a watermark, adding the graphic onto a base document, and creating a secure document by adding one or more text objects from the source document onto the base document, the secured document configured to enable text selection of the one or more of the added text objects. The secure document includes a file format that is different than that of the source document.

A computer implemented method and a system configured to receive digital content; draw the digital content onto a drawing board; draw a watermark on the drawing board over the digital content, the watermark comprising a series of non-linear lines with the lines having random spacing therebetween in the x and y axes, and save the content of the drawing board in a desired file format.

A printing management server includes an identification information management unit that manages identification information uniquely associated with an email address assigned to a printer, a print request receiving unit that receives a print request that is a request to print content and that accompanies the identification information, and a print instructing unit that designates an email address, corresponding to the identification information accompanying the print request specified by the identification information management unit, to an email printing server that causes a printer corresponding to a designated email address to execute a print, and instructs the email printing server to cause the printer corresponding to the designated email address to print content included in the print request.

The present disclosure relates generally to signal encoding for elements within PDF files. One implementation encodes an artwork element under different encoding conditions, and selects a winner version based on resulting signal robustness and/or visibility. Other implementations generate PDF layer masks to help determine overall embedding robustness, including interference from layered elements. Other implementations are provided too.

Methods for selecting a binding-element are provided. The method comprised of different steps. A first mixture is formed using at least one target molecule and a plurality of oligomers, followed by incubating the first mixture to form a second mixture comprising at least one target-bound oligomer and at least one target-unbound oligomer. Then a first accelerator is added to cleave the target-unbound oligomer and the target-bound oligomer is separated from the target molecule. This is followed by addition of a second accelerator for ligation, and a third accelerator for amplification followed by sequencing and post sequence analysis to select the binding-element.

Methods for designing and producing a security feature are provided. In general, the present disclosure provides methods of designing a printed image in a security feature, the security feature comprising an array of optical elements overlaying the printed image, wherein the printed image comprises a two dimensional matrix of rows and columns of pixels, the method comprising; correcting for a mismatch between the pixels of the printed image and the array of optical elements by doing one or more of: adding one or more pixels; removing one or more pixels; and moving one or more pixels.

A verification system includes: a code generation server publicizing time stamped codes; a proving device, including a video camera, that acquires a published time stamped code from the code generation server, and, while recording a video, incorporates the acquired time stamped code into the video; and a verifying device that receives the video, extracts the time stamped code from the content of the video, compares the time stamped code to published time stamped codes, and displays a verification of the published time stamped code.

System and method for displaying an encoded standard-formatted image with information including, but not limited to, geospatial information. This information, possibly in mark-up language format, can be quickly accessed and used to modify the image to which it is appended, or it can be ignored because the image itself remains unchanged.
