A method and system for managing consistent data objects are included herein. The method includes detecting an operation to store a consistent data object. Additionally, the method includes detecting an attribute for the consistent data object. Furthermore, the method includes storing the consistent data object based on the attribute. In addition, the method includes determining an additional format of the consistent data object is to be stored. The method also includes generating a second consistent data object based on the additional format and storing the second consistent data object.

A mark information recording apparatus includes an output unit and a recording unit. The output unit is configured to output, for displaying a partial image being a part of an entire image having an arbitrary resolution among entire images generated at a plurality of different resolutions with respect to a single target, the partial image. It is possible to perform high-speed processing in producing an image list using thumbnail images included in image files in the Exif format.

A method performed under control of a storage manager may include identifying a subject of an image; determining a resolution value for the image based, at least in part, on the identified subject; and modifying a resolution of the image in accordance with the determined resolution value.
