An information processing apparatus includes a controller that acquires images captured by a camera mounted in a vehicle, and a memory that can store the images. The controller acquires travel data on the vehicle for when the image was captured and stores the image in the memory in a case in which the travel data satisfies a predetermined condition.

A distributed system for live traffic monitoring and optimization includes a central computer and a plurality of mobile client devices at different geographical locations. Each mobile client device may run a software application to capture images of its current location and the associated location coordinates of each image and communicate the combined digital data of each location to the central computer. The central computer may collect the digital data of every location from all mobile client devices in that location, continuously updating and processing them to provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive graphical information of any location.

An information processing system that that confirms the meanings of difference information in meeting content with reference to the sound information is provided. Differences between meeting content contained in image information of a paper medium taken at each detection cycle and meeting content contained in master information are extracted. Surrounding sounds are recorded while the meeting is being held. The sound information of the recorded sounds is associated with the difference information of the extracted differences and also associated with the master information with the timing when the differences of the meeting content are detected.

Systems, methods, devices, computer readable media, and other various embodiments are described for location management processes in wearable electronic devices. Performance of such devices is improved with reduced time to first fix of location operations in conjunction with low-power operations. In one embodiment, low-power circuitry manages high-speed circuitry and location circuitry to provide location assistance data from the high-speed circuitry to the low-power circuitry automatically on initiation of location fix operations as the high-speed circuitry and location circuitry are booted from low-power states. In some embodiments, the high-speed circuitry is returned to a low-power state prior to completion of a location fix and after capture of content associated with initiation of the location fix. In some embodiments, high-speed circuitry is booted after completion of a location fix to update location data associated with content.

A portable information device including a body, a position information portion that is provided in the body and that outputs position information, an image sensor that is provided in the body, a display system that is provided in the body and that displays, on a local field in a screen field, relevant information based on the position information such that the displayed relevant information is overlapped on a real-time image, an input portion that is provided on the body and, by use of which user operates an icon, the icon being displayed on the local field such that the displayed icon is overlapped on the real-time image and an imaging button that is provided, separately from the input portion, on the body and that is operated by user to capture a subject image via the image sensor.

A document processing system includes a controller for controlling at least one part of the document processing system, a user interface for allowing a user to interact with the document processing system, and a mobile device capable of communicating with the controller in the document processing system via a wireless link. A locating function is provided for locating the mobile device. The user interface has a hierarchical structure with at least three levels each of which is associated with a class of local entities each of which contains at least a part of the document processing system. The local entities are nested such that each lower level entity is contained in an entity associated with a superior level in the hierarchy. A selection function is provided for automatically selecting one of the hierarchical levels dependent upon the local entities in which the mobile device is located.

An electronic device according to various embodiments includes a camera, a memory, a display, and a processor. The processor is configured to: based on an input for executing a camera application being received, identify first images shot within a region of a set range from a location of the electronic device from among a plurality of images, based on location information of the plurality of images stored in the memory or an external electronic device; select at least one second image from the first images, based on a priority of each of the first images; and, while displaying a preview image obtained through the camera on the display, display a visual object including a thumbnail image corresponding to the at least one second image on the display by overlaying the visual object on the preview image.

An information processing device includes a linker that links respective identification information of one or more persons and an object involved in a transfer established using a network, and an updater that updates the respective identification information for a subsequent transfer transaction.

A verification system includes: a code generation server publicizing time stamped codes; a proving device, including a video camera, that acquires a published time stamped code from the code generation server, and, while recording a video, incorporates the acquired time stamped code into the video; and a verifying device that receives the video, extracts the time stamped code from the content of the video, compares the time stamped code to published time stamped codes, and displays a verification of the published time stamped code.

An information processing device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires feature information of a target depicted in images; a storage unit that stores registration information containing feature information of registered targets; and a distinction unit that distinguishes, on a basis of a result of identification of the feature information acquired by the acquisition unit and the feature information contained in the registration information, one registered target of the registered targets, the one registered target corresponding to the target in the images. The registration information contains zip codes of sites relating to the registered targets. The distinction unit identifies a zip code of a site relating to the target in the images and zip codes contained in registration information with each other, and distinguishes one registered target corresponding to the target in the images using the result of identification of the feature information and using the identification of the zip codes.
