Convertible Mixer Assembly
20180133669 · 2018-05-17 ·

A convertible mixer assembly converts a hand mixer for use as a stand mixer with additional attachments. The assembly includes a motor positioned within a mixer housing. Mixer ports extend into the mixer housing. A handle coupled to the mixer housing allows handheld use. Beater attachments are removably coupable to the mixer housing and rotated by the motor. A connector extends from the mixer housing. A slot extends into an outer surface of a stand. The slot receives the connector such that the stand is configured for holding the mixer housing for use without the mixer housing is handheld.

IMPLEMENT WITH TELESCOPICALLY MOVABLE STEM FOR STIRRING OR COMMINUTING FOOD

An implement for stirring or comminuting, containing a drive motor arranged in a motor housing, a stem, in which a shaft connected to the drive motor in a rotationally rigid manner is mounted, and which is divided into an inner and an outer assembly, wherein the outer assembly has a shield at an end remote from the motor housing, and a working part surrounded by the shield, wherein the shaft is guided in an axially immovable manner in the inner assembly and the inner assembly is axially movable relative to the outer assembly. The working part is fixedly connected to the stem and is mounted in an axially immovable manner in the inner assembly, such that the working part can move in relation to the shield.

Blade means for a mixer

A blade means for a mixer, such as for example an immersion blender or stand mixer includes a rotational shaft; at least one blade which extends from the rotational shaft and has at least one cutting edge; and a plurality of serrations which are formed in the at least one cutting edge. The individual serrations are spaced apart from one another by a planar portion of the at least one cutting edge, wherein the planar portion of the at least one cutting edge is less sharp than the serrations.

Motor unit of hand blender

The motor unit (2) comprises a motor unit coupling part (22) for coupling a tool unit (3) to the motor unit. The tool unit will be coupled onto the motor unit via the motor unit's motor unit coupling part and the tool unit's tool unit coupling part. Coupling of the tool unit directly onto the end part of motor (20) reduces the tolerance along the longitudinal axis of the motor unit. Reduction of tolerance is advantageous as it reduces vibration and noise and as it reduces the load on the coupling parts.

Multi-purpose handheld kitchen appliance

A blender for blending a plurality of ingredients. The blender has an upper cover, comprising a rotation mechanism, and the upper cover is fitted on a lower mixing compartment. The rotation mechanism comprises a rotor, and rotation of the upper cover rotates the rotor, and the rotor blends the multitude of ingredients within the lower mixing compartment for receiving a blended mixture.

DOMESTIC APPLIANCES WITH POWER CONTROL

A hand held domestic appliance comprises a handle part, a driven member, a motor for driving the driven member and a controller for controlling the motor. The handle part comprises a surface sensor for detecting a contact surface area and optionally also pressure and the controller is adapted to control the power supplied to the motor in dependence on the sensed contact surface area and optionally also pressure.

Radial immersion blender
09642494 · 2017-05-09 ·

An improved immersion blender generally consisting of a motor, an elongated motor shaft that extends from the motor through a removable tubular guard to a back-to-back radial-flow cutter blade. The cutter blade is securely attached to the distal end of motor shaft and is housed within the tubular guard assembly. The tubular guard has a manifold at its distal end that provides side inlet and outlet ports for the blade and a lower inlet aperture through the distal annular plate of the manifold. The lower blade of the back-to-back radial-flow cutter draws liquid from the bottom portion of the container, through the lower inlet side-ports in the manifold and the aperture through the distal end of the manifold, and discharges the liquid through the outlet ports in the manifold toward the sides of container in a radial direction. The upper blade draws the liquid from the top portion of the container, through the upper inlet side-ports in the manifold, and discharges the liquid through the outlet ports toward the sides of container in a radial direction. The flow of the liquid drawn into the blades is towards the center axis of the motor shaft, and the flow of the liquid discharged from the blades is away from the center axis of the motor shaft.

Hand blender with a built-in 2-speed gearbox
09603490 · 2017-03-28 ·

A hand blender with a built-in 2-speed gearbox, having its output shaft rotating clockwise whenever the motor rotates clockwise or anticlockwise. By using a differential transmission assembly and a one-way bearing, two different output speeds are realized. Thus, different types of food can be processed with different stirring speeds, and a single type of food can be processed with different stirring speeds in different mixing stages of a stirring process.

Lid for a food processor
09591949 · 2017-03-14 · ·

The present application relates to a lid (3) for a food processor (1). The lid is releasably attachable to a container (3) to enclose a food processing tool unit (4) which is operated by a drive unit (5). The lid (3) has a drive unit mount (28) to releasably mount a drive unit (5) to the lid (3), an attachment element to releasably attach the lid (3) to a container (2), and a locking element operable to engage a container (2) attached to the lid (3) when a drive unit (5) is mounted to the lid (3). Therefore, detachment of the lid (3) from a container (2) is prevented by the locking element when a drive unit (5) is mounted to the lid (3). The present application also relates to a food processor (1).
