Multipole engine array system and loudspeaker

The present invention provides a multipole engine array system and a loudspeaker, the multipole engine array system comprising a plurality of engine assemblies distributed in an annular array, the plurality of engine assemblies being fixed inside the cylindrical loudspeaker by means of a mounting base provided in a housing of the cylindrical loudspeaker; each engine assembly comprises a magnetic conduction plate and a magnet provided in the magnetic conduction plate; a magnetic field is formed between the magnet and the magnetic conduction plate; and the plurality of engine assemblies are arranged coaxially and annularly along the periphery of the mounting base, so as to form a multipole magnetic field having a plurality of magnetic pole directions. In the present invention, a multipole magnetic field enclosed by planes is formed by means of monopole equal-magnetic-plane magnetic fields in a multipole way, such that each pole face of an inductive diaphragm radiates sound waves with controllable power to any settable angular space at different angles; the diaphragms are driven to vibrate at the same time, so as to form more audio information, improving the power and efficiency of the loudspeaker, and increasing the response speed.

Sound collection loudspeaker apparatus, method and program for the same

Provided is a sound pickup loudspeaker apparatus which suppresses the influence of feedback produced when adding a speaker while also reducing a sense of unnaturalness in a sound image. The sound pickup loudspeaker apparatus collects a target sound emitted from a first seat in the vehicle, plays back the collected target sound to a listener seated in a second seat in the vehicle from a second sound amplifying device disposed in a direction different from the first seat from the perspective of the listener, and furthermore plays back the collected target sound to the listener from a first sound amplifying device disposed in the same direction as the first seat from the perspective of the listener. The apparatus multiplies the target sound by a first gain and outputs the target sound to the first sound amplifying device; delays the target sound by an amount of time obtained by adding a time for achieving a precedence effect to a delay time of the first sound amplifying device relative to the second sound amplifying device; and multiplies the delayed target sound by a second gain and outputs the target sound to the second sound amplifying device. A first gain adjustment unit adjusts the first gain to a low value and a second gain adjustment unit adjusts the second gain to a high value.

Systems and methods for preparing reference signals for an acoustic echo canceler

A method for preparing reference signals for an echo cancellation system disposed in a vehicle, comprising the steps of: receiving a plurality of drive signals, each drive signal being provided to an associated transducer of a plurality of acoustic transducers such that the associated acoustic transducer transduces the drive signal into an acoustic signal, filtering each drive signal with a respective filter of a plurality of filters to produce a plurality of filtered signals, wherein each of the plurality of filters approximates a transfer function from an associated acoustic transducer to a microphone disposed within the vehicle such that the plurality of filtered signals each estimate a respective acoustic signal at the microphone; summing together at least a subset of the plurality of filtered signals to produce a summed reference signal; and outputting the summed reference signal to an echo cancellation system.

Loudspeaker with array of electrostatic card stack drivers

Dipole audio speakers, and more particularly, voice controlled dipole audio speakers having at least one microphone located substantially along the null sound plane of the dipole audio speaker. An improved loudspeaker system that produces an improved audio quality for stereophonic sound. The improved loudspeaker utilizes conventional electro-dynamic drivers in a sealed chamber that produce sound primarily in the 20-300 Hz band coupled with electrostatic card stack drivers placed outside the sealed chamber that cover the remaining 98% of the audio frequency spectrum (300 Hz to 20 kHz). The improved loudspeaker system can also include multiple card stack drivers that are placed at angles with respect to each other to maximize audio fidelity.

Loudspeaker arrangement

An example loudspeaker arrangement includes a seat configured to support a listener sitting in the seat so that a head of the listener is in a listening position; and a loudspeaker array secured to the seat and disposed in a position in front of a backrest of the seat and to the side of the head when the head is in the listening position. The loudspeaker array includes at least one loudspeaker and has a main broadcasting axis representative of a main broadcasting direction, the main broadcasting direction of the loudspeaker array pointing to the head.
