LOCATION PREDICTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, NODE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are a location prediction method and apparatus, a node and a storage medium. The method includes: a server obtaining a measurement report message sent by a base station, where the measurement report message includes historical location measurement information reported by at least one UE and/or historical location measurement information of the at least one UE measured by the base station; and the server determining prediction location information of the at least one UE at a first time point or in a first time period according to the measurement report message, and sending notification information to the base station according to the prediction location information. By introducing measurement information in multiple dimensions, the accuracy of predicting the location of UE can be effectively improved.
BASE STATION, APPARATUS, AND RADIO TERMINAL
A base station according to an embodiment is provided in a mobile communication network. The base station includes: a network communication unit configured to receive, from an evolved packet core (EPC), first switching information indicating that a radio terminal switches a communication path with the EPC from the mobile communication network to a wireless LAN; and a controller configured to start measurement of a staying time in which the radio terminal stays in the wireless LAN, in response to reception of the first switching information.
System and method to identify unauthorized aerial user equipment over a terrestrial network
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system detects user equipment (UE) in communication with a network via a serving cell of the network; the network is configured to facilitate communications by one or more terrestrial UEs and one or more aerial UEs. The system monitors messages from an aerial UE regarding detection of a cell other than the serving cell, and receives information from the aerial UE regarding the detected cell. The method further includes analyzing the information to estimate a first quantity associated with the detected cell location relative to the serving cell and a second quantity associated with a power received at the aerial UE from the detected cell. The method also includes determining, based on the analyzing, whether the aerial UE is an unauthorized aerial UE. Other embodiments are disclosed.
ENHANCED MOBILITY MANAGEMENT WITHIN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A method for enhanced mobility management within a mobile communication network includes: generating, by the user equipment, information regarding a first radio cell and a second radio cell, and/or receiving, by the user equipment, information regarding the first radio cell and the second radio cell from the first radio cell and/or the second radio cell; and selecting, by the user equipment, either the first radio cell or the second radio cell, and/or requesting, by the user equipment, on-demand mobility support from the mobile communication network. The second step is performable by the user equipment both in case that the user equipment is in an idle state and in case that the user equipment is in a connected state.
NETWORK NODE, COMMUNICATION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
In order to prevent deterioration of QoE of a user in intersystem handover, an apparatus according to the present invention includes: an information obtaining unit configured to obtain network slice related information related to a network slice used by a terminal apparatus in a first radio communication system; and a first communication processing unit configured to transmit, to a second network node of a second radio communication system, a message for intersystem handover of the terminal apparatus from the first radio communication system to the second radio communication system, the message including the network slice related information.
Communication Method and Apparatus
A method including a first network element receiving first information reported by a first terminal device. The first information is used to indicate parameter information of an exception when the first terminal device accesses a first cell. The first network element determines configuration information based on the first information. The configuration information includes configuration information for accessing the first cell. The first network element sends the configuration information.
Method and apparatus for determining motion state of user equipment
A method for determining a motion state of user equipment includes: recording information on a neighboring cell that neighbors with a cell where the user equipment is located; determining a number of one or more pieces of the information on the neighboring cell recorded in unit time, and determining the motion state of the user equipment based on relationship between the determined number and one or more preset numbers as well as association of the relationship with at least one motion state.
Method of mobility based on prediction and pre-preparation
Example methods for communicating based on route prediction and pre-preparation in a wireless network are provided. One example method includes determining, by a network entity, a predicted time of entering and a predicted duration of stay of a user equipment (UE) in each cell of a plurality of cells according to a predicted route of the UE, the predicted route including predicted UE locations at corresponding predicted times. The network entity can then determine mobility prediction information according to the predicted time of entering and the predicted duration of stay of the UE in each cell of the plurality of cells. The network entity can then transmit the mobility prediction information to the UE.
HANDOVER SCHEMES FOR MILLIMETER WAVE (MMW) WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may initiate handover from one base station to another. The handover procedure may not include random access channel (RACH) transmissions, and thus may be a localized RACH-less handover. The UE may initiate handover to a new base station based on the relative location of the UE and the new base station, some predetermined time, or based on the characteristics of the signals from each base station.
METHOD AND A DEVICE FOR ANTICIPATING A RECONNECTION OF A MOBILE STATION
A method and a device for anticipating a reconnection, to a second access point, of a mobile station connected to a first access point that forms a wireless telecommunication network. The physical bit rate between the first access point and mobile station with respect to a reception power of a signal sent by a mobile station and received by the first access point from measurements of reception power of signals sent by the mobile station and received by the first access point, calculates physical bit rates between access points and mobile station. A rate of variation of the physical bit rates between access points and mobile stations from measurements obtained and from the modelling, an anticipation of physical bit rate between access points and the mobile stations and determines whether a reconnection of the station to the second access point must be made among other things from the calculated anticipations.
