Method for Signal Reception and Transmission In Measurement Gap, Network Element Device, and Readable Storage Medium
This application provides a method for signal reception and transmission in a measurement gap. User equipment (UE) obtains, in dual connectivity, a measurement configuration delivered by a base station, and determines a first cell group in which signal reception and transmission can be performed in the measurement gap; performs signal reception and transmission with the base station in the first cell group in the measurement gap; and performs inter-frequency or inter-RAT measurement in a second cell group. The second cell group is a cell group in which signal reception or transmission cannot be performed in the measurement gap. In the measurement gap, the base station and the UE can still receive and transmit signals in the first cell group, and radio frequency channels of the UE that support signal reception and transmission in the measurement gap can be fully used for performing signal reception and transmission.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUSPENDING MEASUREMENT WITH MEASUREMENT CONFIGURATION IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and apparatus for suspending measurement with measurement configuration in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives, from a first cell, measurement configuration including a measurement frequency list and a suspension cell list. A wireless device perform measurements on at least one frequency included in the measurement frequency list. A wireless device moves to a second cell from the first cell. A wireless device stops the measurements and keeps the measurement configuration, based on determining that the second cell is included in the suspension cell list.
METHOD AND ACCESS NETWORK NODE FOR SCHEDULING TRANSMISSION FOR TERMINAL DEVICE
A method and an access network node are disclosed for scheduling transmission for terminal device. According to an embodiment, the access network node determines, for a transmission to be scheduled for a terminal device, whether one or more control channels required by the transmission have no collision with measurement gap and a traffic channel required by the transmission has collision with a measurement gap, based on current repetition number of the traffic channel. When determining that the one or more control channels have no collision with measurement gap and the traffic channel has collision with a measurement gap, the access network node determines a second repetition number of the traffic channel that is larger than the current repetition number of the traffic channel. The access network node schedules the transmission for the terminal device based on the second repetition number.

The method includes: receiving measurement object configuration information; when adopting conditional trigger cell management, according to the measurement object configuration information, starting measurement of a target object; wherein the target object is at least one of objects indicated by the measurement object configuration information; when satisfying a preset trigger event, determining whether to stop measurement of at least one object in the target object.
Multi-beam random access procedure in handover execution
According to certain embodiments, a method by a wireless device is provided for beam-based random access. The method includes receiving, from a network node, a handover command, the handover command comprising at least one suitability threshold. Measurements of each of a plurality of beams detected by the wireless device are performed. The measurements of the plurality of beams are compared to the at least one suitability threshold. A particular beam is selected based on the comparison, and a random access procedure is initiated.

To predict a first metric for a station in a wireless network, at least one hardware processor in a prediction device or at least one hardware processor in a first access point associated with the station, determines that a recent measurement of a second metric correlated with the first metric has hanged compared to a previous measurement of the second metric, the second metric for the station and measured by the first access point; and in case the second metric has changed, prediction of the first metric for the station is triggered. The first metric can be a signal strength of a signal received by the station from a second access point not associated with the station and the second metric a signal strength of a signal received by the first access point from the station.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for multi-universal subscriber identification module (USIM) and dual connectivity operation. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes establishing a first access link, associated with a first SIM of the UE, for communicating with a first base station; establishing a second access link, associated with the first SIM of the UE, for communicating with a second base station; establishing a third access link associated with a second SIM of the UE; determining a need for reduced capability on the second access link to communicate on the third access link; transmitting an indication of the need for the reduced capability to the second base station; and communicating on the third access link using the second SIM simultaneously with communicating on the second access link using the first SIM, wherein communicating on the second access link is at the reduced capability.
